I just sent a message to Sandra from the CallaneticsEvolution DVD. Maybe she will join us on here. We're creating quite a community here.

Agnes...did you get your bars up yet? I'm dying to have a go on them. I'm back to work but I'm gonna come visit you very soon.

Just wanted to say, as Happi has pointed out, we have come so far and we are one great group of people, and I'm just proud to be a part of this group.....it's so cool!

I wanted to share some good news!

Yesterday I responded to ItsMyLife about my reaction to having watched Evolution, and having tried it, although I only got through two segments before I was interrupted and had to stop. At the time it did not feel as challenging as Super C, which is what I have been doing, and I was thinking it must be pretty similar in terms of difficulty/results as 10 in 10.

Well.......this morning I woke up out of bed, and my hips and inner thighs had DOMS! It had to be Evolution, because the only other exercise I did yesterday was an early morning walk with DH.

So I have to amend my review card. Am I allowed to do that?

I was waiting for that.......never under judge Callanetics!

WOE: Callanetics and Turbo Jam!
Wow...this place is really hopping! I finished hour 9 this morning plus ab jam. I'm seeing such amazing results. The pants I wore to work on Friday were loose and two weeks ago I couldn't even wear them they were SO tight I'm going to measure after day 10 and post my before and after measurements. I need to have my husband take pics too and then I'll do after pics at the end of 20 hours.

I'm glad to hear all the positive experiences with Evolution. I got it about 4 months ago and tried it a couple of times and didn't like it at all. I'm going to give it another go this week!

Lisa and JayTee....WOOHOO!!! Seriously amazing results and you should both be so proud of yourselves

Thanks to everyone for posting their pics, experiences, results and support! I really feel like I'm going to turn 40 feeling fit and fabulous!

Last but certainly not least...Twyla, thanks for keeping the MAGIC alive here all this time for all of us!! I have always HATED my legs and your before and after pics are my motivation. You are truly a beautiful and generous spirit

I'm loving the magic
Carrie

The pics were taken after 3, 5, and 8 hours.

Sorry the pictures are so sloppy. I am still learning how to work my brand new camera and the mirror used is the one my daughters play with

WTG, Girl you know you're looking good. I can definitely tell the difference. Are you eating clean alone with your exercising?

Keep us posted.

Lisa, i think i have a problem with bloating when i eat alot of carbs. Do you bloat from eating too many carbs too? I take alfalfa to help with the bloating along with unsweeten cranberry juice with lemon and apple cider vinegar. I sometimes can retent 10 lbs like over night when i eat alot of carbs. So, protein shakes help with bloating?

Your results are so encouraging and so is everyones. I'm so glad i joined the callan gang.

Mev,

No I wasn't eating clean . I let all of the hype of Easter, the eggs, and the leftovers get the best of me. I am really trying to find the WOE the works best for me and the family. It's hard trying to eat clean and my meal is totally different from the family's. We have cut a lot of the rice, sugar, and potatoes out. Frying food is minimal too. I guess it's the small things that I need to change and it is a task doing it.

Yea 9 hours done! This is the most consistent I have ever been with Callanetics. I've lost 8 pounds in the past month and a half as well. You all are keeping me so motivated! I'm going to finish my 10th hour tomorrow. I'll take pics and measurements then and try for another 10 hours in April!

Ok, these results are keeping me motivated! Ladies you are doing fantastic. Callanetics are right up there with sliced bread in my book! I know Jay you said you only see "some" changes but we usually are more critical of ourselves than others are. I can see some definite changes in your body. You are really toning up quick!

My goodness Lisa your results are amazing! Only 15 hours! Wow! Did you see the surgeon before you started Callanetics? I would definitely wait for a while before going under the knife (and I'm a nurse) for loose skin. Callanetics is like the fountain of youth and you may be surprised what happens to your extra skin as you continue to work out. Not knowing how young you are I can't say for sure. One of my friends lost over 50 pounds with diet and exercise (was able to get off sliding scale insulin for Type 2 Diabetes) and she is over 40 and her skin tightened up all over. Keep up the good work You're inspiring so many of us

Hello all,

I want to get on board with Callanetics, I did the old vhs tapes many moons ago, i am 56. I put a tape in yesterday and am having trouble with my form, age, back, etc. I did a search and found a Callanetics class about an hour from me - someone actually a certified Callanetics instructor - I am so excited and im going to check the class out Tues. I think the drive-traffic will be worth it - at least to get started - I am also on a diet. I know ill have to add some cardio for the fat loss. You guys are looking great and I hope I am still able to do these exercises and I recall they are so effective !! The tapes i have are the quick callanetics series, 10 in 10, super ( which i know is not feasible at my age ) and the am/pm which was always my favorite. Got to transfer or get the dvds tho - I am so happy I kept these relics.

KIKI!!!!!! Hey, girl! Wow, I've missed you! So glad you came back!

YELLOWHAIR
, age is not a factor here. You're gonna be one hot older woman if you stick with us! I began with 10 in 10 (VHS, not DVD....no biggy there for me), and then graduated to VHS Super C.

I think that hour's drive a couple of times a week would be well worth the time, effort and gas $ for the benefits of having hands-on instruction for Callanetics. Don't give that one another thought! Sign up now! (And yes, I definitely would consider a day or 2 of cardio mixed in for best results)

Official (but tardy) Welcome to Skinhealth!

And to all others who may be lurking and want to join us. One more day of this month, and we're gonna burn rubber for the month of April.

This morning I'm doing Turbo Jam, but I'll be returning to my first FULL session of Evolution tomorrow morning. Can't wait.

I originally lost to 160 from 287 and had the consult then-believe the skin issue gets worse at a lower weight. I need a breast reduction and lift and tummy tuck. Prolly could use a brachioplasty too.

No healthy carbs don't bloat me at all but sugar and refined foods make my IBS worse. I am carb cycling and the shakes are helping me to control my appetite and calories as well as raise protein levels. I have water retention issues due to perimenopause and am on a mild prescription diuretic.
