The pics were taken after 3, 5, and 8 hours.

Sorry the pictures are so sloppy. I am still learning how to work my brand new camera and the mirror used is the one my daughters play with

You go girl!! I see a difference too.

The back stretch? My leg goes all the way down to the floor. What am I supposed to be looking for when doing this stretch?

TIA for your help.
.....wow - you are doing great. I definitely see some progress. Thanks so much for sharing your results. This is motivation for someone like me who has only done 1 hr thus far. Awesome job !!!

As for the floor stretches, again, no "teach" here, but my two cents, K? The more you hold your elbows out, the more of a stretch you'll get. Go as far down as is comfortable and then bitty pulses for the full count, feeling the stretch from your lower back, relaxing everything out, no forcing. I'm sure that wasn't much help, but until Agnes comes back????...............AGNESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Keep up the GREAT WORK!

at you yelling for Agnes. Thank you for the comps . I did notice when I focus on holding my elbows out I could feel the stretch. As matter of fact, I am still feeling it now.

Planetbenjamin,

I know I have to keep taking pics now. I will have to journal them to keep myself focused.

I am glad that I could encourage someone to stay focused and keep it movin'.

ItsaLifestyle,

I watched Evolution all the way through yesterday. Carefully.

My aim was to actually do it today. I began doing the warmups, then legs, and then my Mom stopped in unexpected, and obviously I had to stop, and the rest is history. That was my "carved-out" time to do the workout, and when she came, there was no window of time that I could fit it in uninterrupted later in the day. Bummer.

But. I did notice that doing the legs segment, it didn't seem quite as challenging as what I'm used to with Super C, but then the leg segment was as far as I got, and it's hard to judge. I didn't hold on to anything, kept arms ballet position the whole time, up on toes for added core stabilizing, etc.

I did notice yesterday while watching it through that there were some totally new segments (hip/pelvic thrusts) that I will want to begin including in addition to Super. So maybe when I get a chance to do it again on Tuesday morning, I'll have a chance to give it my full attention.

Bottom line, without having had a chance to do it all the way through, it seems on the surface to be about equal, challenge-wise, with 10 in 10, with a few add-on's and extra challenges here and there.

NEWSWORTHY OBSERVATIONS!

I recently talked a friend of mine into trying out Callanetics. She's not thrilled with her thighs (boy, does that evah sound familiar!), and although she's tried many approaches, they remain a problem for her. So sympathizing, I recommended Callanetics.

Keep in mind, she works out at a gym with her trainer husband regularly. Heavy weights, etc., cardio, basically gym rat types, okay?

Well.............She calls me today, left a message on my machine, bouncing off the wall with shock at how "DECEPTIVELY CHALLENGING Callanetics is..." She said her legs were shakey, achey, burning even hours after her first workout. She admitted being skeptical when she watched the DVD through the first time. No doubt thinking, "Right! How HARD can this be?"

Well, she was rudely -- but happily -- awakened after her first session.

She's thrilled to death, has already talked her mom and neighbor into buying their own DVD's.

The MAGIC is spreading like a virus.

Thats amazing for me,cause its pretty bad on my legs. I didn't notice any inches lost but the shrinking cellulite is enough to keep me going!
That's fantastic and very motivating! My legs aren't real big, but very ripply so you've given me hope that my cellulite will go down too.

You are welcome! I'm glad that it's better now, however, you shouldn't find breathing difficult at all. Can you ask someone to take a picture of you when you are in position?

Ok guys go easy on me. After urging and encouragement by Marsha I am posting pics. The before is after 10 hrs of 10 in 10 and the after is 15 hrs. I have skin and stretch mark issues and have consulted a plastic surgeon who agrees no amount of exercise will take away my stretched out skin and the next option after further weight loss and exercise is surgery. So please be kind...

I was terribly bloated too Twyla in the befores so that could have something to do with why I look so big. I have been doing more protein shakes and the carb cycling and it really helps with my water retention issues. I can bloat up 6-8 lbs with water in a 24 hr period. My good buddy Marsha helps keep me from sinking in despair and giving up most days.

I also take classes at the gym like Zumba, group step and group power(weight lifting class) I have a yoga and a pilates dvd so I can exercise at home when I don't feel like going to the gym. Everyone's progress pictures are incredible!

Twyla,
Thanks for your Callanetics Evolution mini-review. I own SC and the Quick Callanetics for the longest time and did SC this afternoon. Oh my aching butt, legs and abs! I'm going to add Callanetics to my workouts.
