~*~T-Tappers - February 2007 - YES YOU CAN! ~*~
T-Tapp is a series of copyrighted, sequential movements designed to put the body in proper functional alignment. Its special sequence of comprehensive, compound muscle movement helps establish better alignment as well as increased strength and flexibility of the spine, better neuro-kinetic flow, lymphatic function, and increased metabolic rate. Its physical therapy approach to fitness makes it safe for those with shoulder, hip, knee, neck, and back concerns. Yet, it delivers a challenging workout for all fitness levels!
T-Tapp's preventative wellness workouts deliver results inside and out. Instead of just focusing on burning calories and fat to lose weight, T-Tapp concentrates on helping the body rebuild digestion, assimilation, elimination, in addition to improving lymphatic function and neuro-kinetic flow. Increased energy, mental clarity and overall health immediately improve as your body tightens and tones. Faster inch loss occurs because muscles develop like girdles so they can uplift and cinch in target areas of concern. That's because T-Tapp develops long, lean muscle fibers with strength and flexibility for greater muscle density instead of muscle bulk. In fact, T-Tapp can redesign bulky muscles into lean, dense tissue! Best of all, this type of muscle development helps support the spine and joints in a rehabilitative way. Many injuries occur due to muscle imbalance, but with T-Tapp muscles are always built with strength and flexibility. It just happens that this type of muscle development also increases metabolic processing for higher burning of calories and fat even when not working out! Last of all, T-Tapp is a left-right brain, mind-body workout. Most have heard the phrase "if you don't use it, you lose it" but with T-Tapp it's never too late to rebuild fitness and health. Come discover "Yes You Can" with T-Tapp and FEEL the difference while you try some sample movements for free. More Than A Workout! T-Tapp... Is done without weights, equipment, or jumping! Is very rehabilitative, especially for the lower back and knees. The movements look so simple, but they provide a workout like no other. Works all layers of the muscle at both attachments to develop muscle density instead of muscle bulk. Is more than a mind/body workout! T-Tapp is a left/right brain, mind/body workout. Is where less becomes MORE! Instead of working long and hard, discover how quality of movement can be more important than quantity!

Good for you Katt!
My abs are sore from hoe downs last night. I have never really used my abs for hoe downs, now I'm trying to consciously 'tuck' to lift my leg and oh boy. My leg can't go as high now, but at least my form is improving! ![]() |

Hey y'all.
Got up at 5 to do Thursday's workout. Couldn't fit it in last night as I never went home until 8:45. So I'll probably get in 2 today. Did BWO+ this morning and the hoedowns were better. It usually takes me a few times to get the timing and lose the klutzyness(is that a word?) I think tonight will be #2 from start to finish so I can learn it and get the moves down. Happy Friday everyone! |

Great job Amanda and Allie!
I still feel my abs/obliques from Wednesday's workout, so that is a good thing. Gonna do B/R tonight and maybe BWO+ tomorrow. Taking Sunday off. ![]() |

Subscribing to the thread, fellow Tappy girls
![]() Okay, I mentioned this "pain" I had the other day and nobody replied to me But anyhoo, my left trapezius has always bothered me and I think I'm gettin' why. It is rolling forward, because I've done this kind of work for over 20 years now, sitting at a computer, not good posture, very little consistent exercise, and now it is waking up kinda cranky and going back where it is supposed to be, in correct alignment...only it doesn't *like* being in correct alignment. Am I rambling? Can anybody relate? Anybody having any *rehab* aches and pains? Still working on my BWO+ M-F routine, with weekends off except for PBS and some HDs. Last week of that coming up! Lisa

I have frozen shoulder Lisa and sometimes my rhomboids ache (the ones between your shoulder blades). It could be pain from rehabbing (that's why I didn't respond, my traps don't hurt). I can't roll my shoulders back like I want to and have MAJOR problems doing lawnmowers on the one side. I just keep hoping I'll get there.
I sit at a computer all day and now I try to sit straight up, shoulders back and down. It seems to be helping. |

Thanks Cheryl!! Yes, me too, on sitting up and rolling the shoulders back...I just gotta remember back and DOWN! Boy, it was painful a few days ago.
On TTT, I cannot go very far to the right and down because of that troublesome left side area. Hopefully, it will make it all better if I just continue. How cool! Oh yeah, that am I'm getting a massage tomorrow and we just got our new hot tub yesterday...Yippee!! Did ya notice I put a new Avatar pic in? This was before tapping. I need to get a newer one! A massage AND a hot tub? Can I be your new bestest friend?
![]() Very lucky woman, indeed. I keep trying to get my chiropractor to write me a prescription for massages and a hot tub. He hasn't complied yet. Yep, noticed the pic! Can't wait to see an updated one! You are built alot like my niece. She's dropped two sizes since tapping in October. I can't dip very far on TTT either, but that's cause I'm a short torso. Twisting to get my shoulders square to the side wall is still challenging too, but I'm getting there. |

Well, Cheryl you sure can be my new BFF!!
![]() Yes, lucky indeed. Funny you should mention that Rx thing from your chiro. Our Internal med doc wrote us an Rx for the hot tub. Finding a massage therapist that our insurance will cover is still a challenge, but we do have one in the summertime (DH and I). That is soooo helpful!! I have the fortunate short torso/combo body and have let myself go, and had a lot of emotional eating/turmoil for, oh at least 15 years or so (maybe longer), as I was in a bad relationship, custody things going on. I've been getting myself back on track, slowly but surely, after all that junk. *sigh* It just takes so long to get your body back...at least the one I remembered from teenage years! I can dream... Your niece is very lucky; 2 sizes, wow, and I'm sure still young enough to get in shape quickly. Oh yes, forgot to mention. I'm getting ready to sign up to either go to a workshop with Michelle or Cheryl in March! I'm already excited!! Lisa |

I hear ya. I let myself go after heart surgery in 2000. I'm only 5'3" and got up to almost size 16, 181.5 pounds (the 0.5 is what was my turning point).
I think I was hiding in my fat too. My niece is 29 and yeah, still young enough to get quick results, BUT she is PCOS too so she has many blood sugar and hormone issues thrown in too. I want to go to the clinic in March with Kirsten, but I'm hoping I have the date right and it is the 18th, not the 19th, so I can attend. Gotta go check their site. How did you get a Rx for a hot tub? Injuries? |

OMG Cheryl! Heart surgery! That sounds so scary and I'm glad you're okay now girl! Well, you have obviously done fabulously taking that weight off.
PCOS is no laughing matter...very difficult! Good for your niece! As far as the Rxs, I have had muscle spasms for over 20 years and continual cramps. Very frustrating, but seems to go along with my job. |

Yikes, what do you do?
My heart surgery, wasn't open heart, thank goodness, they went in through the groin artery and ablated a part of my heart that was causing it to flutter in fibrillation on it's own. Glad it's over with! |

Hope you dont mind if I join in but I am so excited about t-tapp!!!!! I received all my videos and started boot camp this past Mon.
Mon- Inst#1 and Inst#2 up to thread the needle Tues- Inst#1 and all of Inst#2 Wed- Basic workout plus and all inst#2 Thur- Beginner rehab Tonight I will do Beginner rehab again Let me just start by saying WOOOOOOOWWWWW. I had no idea that t-tapp was going to be this effective. I am used to working out 4 to 5days a week at the gym and I do a pretty hard workout, so I thought. Now I know what a hard workout is. The funny thing is I watched the videos over the weekend to get an idea of the form and the moves, first thing I thought to myself was "oh yeah right, like that is going to make me lose inches." Then I thouht, "oh please only 8reps." Was I wrong, last night was the first time I actually was able to do the arm sections without stopping, oh yeah and the lunges. I was dripping sweat and huffing so hard that my dog was even looking at me funny Best part of this whole thing is I dont have to go to the gym I am going for a 14day bootcamp and I am not giving up.Hope to chat with you ladies more and if you have any t-tapp advise bring it on.

I'm a medical transcriptionist and sit in front of a computer typing constantly, thus the back pain, neck pain, muscle spasms and cramps. T-Tapp really helps! What do you do? *Waving* Welcome Lovebaker! You seem to be scooting right on through those instructionals!! |

I also love TT the more I do it. When I first watched it I thought the same thing too.. yeah right.... 8 reps. Paleeeease. And when I saw the SATI was without music and just her talking, I thought - I'm going to hate this. Now I'm used it to and find I NEED her reminding me of what I should be doing. How do she know that I need to be told to TUCK right there or "Shoulders back" at just that moment. Man, that lady is SMART!! I can FEEL this w/o every single time I do it. It's amazing.

I can't believe you are doing a bootcamp right away. WOW. It took me at least 6 weeks before I even tried Instructional #2. The workout is definitely more than it looks like and it sure gives GREAT results! |

I thought the same thing about the music part. You are totally right, knees bent, tuck, shoulders back, knees out. Everytime she says it I realize I am not doing 1 or more of those things. How long have you been tapping and how many inches or weight have you lost?? |

Catzrule- I am one of those all or nothing people. Believe me I am sore and it is hard. Since I have been working out for years and before my surgery (why I gained weight) I was training for boxing I pick up on form pretty quickly. What I do is right before I pop the video in I practice the form, like the bent knees, knees out, tuck ect. I look in the mirror to make sure the form is right that way I have a feel for the form. Everyday my form improves and as it improves the workout is harder. That is amazing!!!! |
