I've been doing it every day for about a week, except I did miss 2 days. I haven't seen any results yet, but it's still early. I really do feel it in my muscles when I'm doing it though.

Yesterday I did the 7 min. on my morning break at work. We have a little fitness center that's just outside our office area so I went in there (I knew no one would be in there). I just watched the clock for my timer. It was nice because I didn't have to listen to Greer's chatter. And I find her voice to be kind of annoying. I could easily do this while I'm watching TV too.

Well, thank you. Have you ever been over on the Playground? My 11,000 is nothing compared to some of the peeps over there. They have like 30 or 40,000!!

ETA: Oops, I think you need 60 posts to get into the PG. You'll have to check it out when you get there.

I didn't post much until I started hanging out on the Playground. It's just a fun place to be.

I'm not doing Atkins or low carbing. Shhhh, don't tell anyone.

Right now I'm just trying to focus on not eating so much and cutting down on the crap. The weight isn't falling off by any means, but that's okay. I'm exercising more and feeling better about myself.

I waste enough time on the internet on a daily basis without getting sucked into the PG

I'm thinking I should start doing the SS while I'm at work ... another way to avoid working! YAY!

I'm back after 4 days without a computer, and I must say I AM a computerholic.

Anyway, I'm still exercising, actually a bit more in the last four days since my pc wasn't available, and now I realize I have to manage my time a bit better to include the crucial exercise routine.

So, this is a check in post, and hope everyone is doing well with their programs, especially SS!

1. 2. Your triceps: bring your arms in back of you, make a fist..tighten your arms and squeeze your shoulders together..25 secs..hold..release..raise your
arms 2 inches higher, squeeze and release..On this one, you can lean your torso a bit forward..Repeat raising the arms until they are as high as they will go in back of you..Squeeze those shoulders/arms..

3. Your fanny: Stand on the floor..on the balls of your feet..have a chair a foot in front of you and use the back of the chair for balance..thrust out
your pelvis and squeeze your fanny for 25 secs..release and repeat 3 more times..You will feel it all down your leg..and as you thrust your pelvis forward you will feel it more..

There is a face one that is really hard to explain..

Does this make sense??

Great minds, Kiki! I was just thinking about reposting that when I read Marmoura's post.

Hmmm, I have a couple Callanetics videos too. Maybe I should pull out the AM/PM one to help my lower half (it really needs it!). I like that that one has shorter versions. I have an hour long one but it gets kind of boring.

jiggles, do it! Get out the AM/PM.. I have most all of them, but was doing the 10/10, and that got old, really fast.. Not the results, and really not the time, but dang, it puts me to sleep.. She has sucha soft, soothing voice, and that music...LOL I had never used the AM/PM, until a couple weeks ago, and manOman, does it ever go fast.. They're like 15-20 minutes each... I should get out the others for, what are they, legs, abs and something else? Just for the extra omphhh...

Just looked, there's one for stomach, one for hips and behind, and one for legs...

I must admit, I stopped doing the AM/PM because life kinda took a turn on us, and I was in a real tizzy with a sick kid, then a very sick kitty.. That really drains it all out of you...LOL

Opps, sorry, didn't mean to go on and on...LOL

Yeah, 10/10 is the long one I have. I almost forgot that I do have the Quick Legs one too. But I think I actually like the AM/PM one better. I wish I would've picked up the Butt/hips one instead of the legs.

You've inspired me to pull them out again.

Quick question on exercise number 3 listed above... are your knees bent? I am inclined to say yes because I've seen it mentioned that it's similar to the Callantics move but it doesn't specifically state it in these directions.

I may give these a try, but you still need to move for cardio/vascular health.

Hello everyone!!

Sorry that I not posted lately, as I've been working major over time due to our hospital's on going Nursing staff shortage. Anyway I am doing fine!! and "Yes" The inches are still coming off!! Let me explain something, that happened just yesterday.

You see, on a day to day basis it's not quickly apparent to actually "see" that I'm still losing, mainly because I basically live in my Nursing Scrubs,(and they are baggy anyways,).....but yesterday I was off and ended up wearing a pair of jeans that I honestly could not wear out in public several weeks ago, as they were WAY too tight and I had to do the "wiggle" to even get them up, LOL!! Well what happened was that I grabbed those jeans off the hanger totally by mistake and after putting them on and looking in the mirror, then realizing that those were a pair of my "other" jeans,..Ladies,.. I was smiling from ear to ear!! , Matter of fact not only do these particular jeans now fit!! but they were way comfy,..And.. I looked darn good in em too...if I do say so myself

I need to go back and read the previous posts here...Anyway I hope everyone is still doing SS!! Well I see that I have a couple of pm's, need to read them.....be back later..

Sazzie...???...

I'm so proud of you, Annaaaa!! This is just fantastic news. How long have you been doing SS for?...and is this the only excercise you are doing?..because if so, then WOW!!!

I had "bid" on ebay...then got outbid..then bid again, but finally lost...
But that's ok - because I've decided that there is no price too expensive for looking good, so....I'll be buying it this week.

marmoura..

Thank you for those kind words!!...

As to exercising, well here is what I now do...

SS every day!! ( heck its only 7 minutes and I so feel it!!... a real no brainer there..)

WATP ( I alternate between the 2 and 3 mile walk) and vary between 4 to 5 days per week, altho sometimes instead I'll just go for a nice brisk walk around the Lake...just to change things up a tad..

200 Ab crunches daily!! ( been doing these for a Long time now..Love working my Abs. ) My whole stomach area was once a big concern, but now its the first thing when discussing weight and exercise, that I normally get complimented on..

So what I am saying is that altho I do LOVE SS, I also Have to do other forms of exercising for cardio and such...For me personally, SS does really not work the Abs enough, but I know others for whom it does, meaning thats all they did and got results!! I guess my Ab muscles need more of a challenge...

....I can say that for my arms, behind and thys...SS is a true Winner!! I'm waiting to hear from Sazzie, hopefully soon she will be sharing her results as well...
Have a great weekend!!

Carolyn~ Thank you for your explanation of 3 of the exercises.

Jiggles~ Thank you for the face exercise explanation.

Anna Waving my hand.....I'm present, I'm present!

Wow, I give you so much credit; working the hours you do, and keeping faithful with your exercise regime. You've inspired many of us to seek out SS and follow in your successful footsteps.

Hopefully this week, I will start my SS, and will be reporting my successes very soon!

I did the exercises as prescribed by Carolyn. My DS11 did them with me, and my BF said he'd do it, too. So, we'll see what happens. I am currently following Stillman's QWL and doing T-Tapp, so it may be hard to tell what is taking off the inches since I'm losing fairly well right now. I just couldn't wait to get started, since you all seem to think this works!

Any success stories?
