It's nice to be able to see the DVD at least once. I would think one could just learn the techniques (if they needed to actually "see" them) then return the set for their money back. Of course, they do have to pay for shipping though.

Jiggles...

well you are right about one thing,..as I can now just do the exercises without needing to see the dvd... Like this morning,..I was watching Dr. Phil and just decided to go on and do em.....I just did a 25 second count per routine x 4....and moved on to the next pose/body part....

As for the face one, well I never could get the exact "pose" she did, ...so I just do kinda my own "tensing" "chewing type"- holding thing, ...and YES!! I can honestly see my under-chin Tightening!! ..but having lost a few more pounds has a lot to do with that I guess...

Now as for sending them back,...er, um,...gulp,...hmmm...( should have thought of that sooner )...Seriously tho, I never even thought of that.. .. ........
ps" I'm a "Sharer" so several others can reap the benefits too...

Hmmm, I'm a 'sharer' too... We need to 'talk' and compare what we have... And what can be 'shared'

As for the face ones, they work, BUT, be very careful.. Look at how your face is manipulated... I use an electronic one, that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Carolyn

Everyone who thanked me: You are soooo welcome..I even bought the Advanced Version of SS..I will glady share that, too as soon as I figure it out
myself..K? But, I do think it does help to have Greer help us at first..and putting in the DVD gets me going..

I'm just finishing week 1 and I for sure fit my clothes better and lost a little on the inches. I don't think the whole thing was "amazing" but it sure is easy and I can spare the 7 minutes a day. I too really feel the burn when doing the exercises and sometimes can't wait for it to be over! I do feel like I need to do more so I'm going to try and get some step-aerobics in this week. I didn't lose any this week but I didn't gain either so I'll take it. The face one is a little crazy and I keep thinking I'm doing it wrong. I get lock jaw sometimes and I got it doing the exercises which is weird because my mouth isn't open that wide! I'll post some official results next weekend as that will be 14 days. I'm thinking I may do it 2X a day to really get it moving!

Girl if you can do these twice a day...my hat is off to ya!...You may have a change in thought,.. given some more time cause The more ya do em..the deeper you will feel it..thats for sure!!...Way 2 go on your clothes fitting better!!! Oh and I think those "Amazing" results comes from actually doing the Entire SS plan, but I only do the 7 minutes tho.... My friend Kim did the entire plan to the letter as layed out and lost 6.5 in her first two weeks and YES lost those inches and got back into her favorite jeans!! I admire her resolve to be as diligent as she was...(even tho she was only a size 12 ....to start with) ...Oh to BE a 12!!.. ..

One more thing I gotta share,..Yesterday I tried on my black 2 piece skirt suit, which by the way when I had a funeral to attend last month, I could not wear simply because the jacket was way too tight in the arms ...anyway I tried it on and guess what?....I can now actually wear it and the arms fit great!!

Anna,

Kudos to you! It strikes me that if you lost in the arms, other areas of your body may be dwindling also, or gaining muscle.

KUTGW........my hat is off to you!!

If I had the DVD's, I'd be happy to 'share' with you... The positions were posted, but I'm not sure if was 1st or 2nd page...

Basically all it sounds like it is, is isometrics... I thought, since I can't afford the DVD's, maybe checking out the library for isometric books...

sounds like one of those quick fix deals always on here, that in the end make people lighter by removing money from their pockets

do these types of things actually help in the long run, i dont think they cement the exercise and proper eating ideas into ones life, 7 minutes just doesnt sound like enough exercise

but i geuss if it works and you are happy with it, good on you

wastednuffime, if you hadnt joined in 2003 i would think you were one of their salespeople!!!

everywhere I try to search for more information or try to find a cheaper rate, I keep getting re-directed to her site.

I really want to try this badly, but its so expensive!

Has anyone had any luck?

I just found this thread ... And THANKS!

Carolyn did such a great job explaining... If anyone has done the Callanetics stuff - the lower stomach/pelvic thrust thing is basically one of the moves Callan has on her tapes... you can even do it while driving in your car! LOL I'm going to try out the arm ones while I'm sitting here playing at my desk!

And Shiner45 - YES - like any exercise, if you DO it, it will work...

wow. .. thanks to Kiki for letting me know this thread was here. I just did the arm moves (twice only) and oy! my arms are tired. I will have to give these the attention they deserve.

I've long long BodyFlex and while I think Greer is often a crackpot she does put out good stuff - despite the high cost.

Anyway .. thanks to Carolyn for sharing the actual moves, I appreciate it.
