Just got mine today and it really does look easy. I'll give updates how it's going. I've been losing weight pretty good but I just can't get down to the next size so I'm excited to start this and see things move.

I did them tonite and the seven minutes flew by. I checked the info tape again after I did them to make sure I didn't miss something they were so simple. I don't know how it will wittle my waist but it sure did work the muscles. There's a face one that was fun. I even tried doing it while driving home from work but was afraid someone in traffic would look over at me and think I was a freak! Too funny but the face one really pulls the muscles. I have a very round face and anything to help is welcomed!

Until I get mine, I've been doing the abs by holding on the the back of the chair, even at my computer, and holding for 25 seconds, and I am certainly feeling my muscles getting sore.......a nice sore.

I've also been flexing my biceps and holding those also for 25 seconds, but they must be in better shape, cause I don't feel those, as yet. Guess I have to do this a few more times during the day, and just wait for the DVD to get better instructions.

psjmom...

Glad you like the SS plan!! The more ya do em,..the more results you will see , also as for "Whittling your waist", for me personally, in addition to using the SS dvd I also do my own stomach crunches!!..Something that I've been doing for a good while now. ( 200 per day) Those crunches really flattened up my stomach and I pretty much do them every day, I have honestly grown to Love doing them !!...I HIGHLY suggest adding in a little extra AB work especially if this is an area of concern for you..

I have a friend who's tummy went down nicely from just doing SS, but since I was already used to working that area, I needed more of a challenge so I continued doing my daily crunches. I'm proud to say that at one time my waist once close to 53 inches ( of course I was 300+ back then) But anyways It's now an even 34 ( 32.5..when sucking in, )..and I'm 193-lbs....This is the one area that I always get the most compliments in, anyway.. can't wait to see how tiny it will be once I'm finally at goal!!..

I'm happy that so many other's here are going to try this program!!.....So at the risk of sounding like a recording.... just gotta say it again..."this WORKS"!!
ps: I now have "Butt muscles" I can actually feel during the course of the day...that I never knew I had...

Thanks Anna! It really is working those muscles and I am sore. I brought it over to my moms and she was pumped for it. It is so simple to do but really works those muscles. I think I will start doing some cruches because I can't go down in size until my stomach shrinks a little. Thats where I hold the weight and after my c-section last year it only got worse. I'll check next Saturday on the change in inches and post. How was your inches lost? I have lost weight too but that's probably tied to TOM. Keep us posted!

aloise,...

Well, no....actually.....Hmmm ..I think the only way ( for me) to best describe them is to liken some of it to the "Body-building-pose downs" Perhaps another SS user here can pop in and give a much better description..and girl Don't even ask me to describe the one she does for the face..

I got my order today. So, it only took 1 week and that was with regular shipping. Not bad.

I took my measurements and did the first "workout" tonight. My biceps definitely got tired. I'm going to try do it every day so I'll see how the results work out.

But am I missing something? I thought the workout was supposed to be 7 min. There are only 4 sections (biceps, triceps, lower body and face). They are a minute each. So, that's only 4 min. total. She didn't say anything about doing it twice (and that would make it 8 min.) unless I missed it.

jiggles,..

No,..you did not miss anything, LOL..

I timed it out and it does come darn close to the 7 minutes...

You see, Each area worked...equals 25 seconds x 4 ( reps) times..= 100 seconds...(remember that you are working each area 4 times!!) and 60 seconds = 1 minute

Ok, biceps, triceps, lower...in total all equal 300 seconds, which equals 5 minutes.. then the seconds for the face plus the few seconds for the quick breaks in between...add up to the 7 minutes...

As odd as this sounds...as time goes by and the longer you do these....the more you will feel em!! to me it does-not get easier like some other exercises, but rather harder!, as I can really feel it now deep into my muscles....Wosa!!,..Like today I could not wait till that dvd was over, LOL....My thys and behind were yelling "Help", LOL.....

Anyway you will certainly start to feel the effects soon!!, even as I type this,..my triceps and bicepts are sore...you will know what I mean in a few days

Hi.

Here are some of the exercises that are on the tape..

It's all about tightening your muscles and holding it for 25 seconds..release and do this 3 more times..changing positions.

1. Your arms: hold your arms out to the side at a 90 degree angle..elbows bent and hands making a fist, facing upwards..now squeeze your arms like crazy for 25 secs and hold in your tummy..Release after 25 secs..Then move your arms 2 inches up..tighten and release..move them again, repeat, and one more time moving them like you were flexing your biceps..

2. Your triceps: bring your arms in back of you, make a fist..tighten your arms and squeeze your shoulders together..25 secs..hold..release..raise your
arms 2 inches higher, squeeze and release..On this one, you can lean your torso a bit forward..Repeat raising the arms until they are as high as they will go in back of you..Squeeze those shoulders/arms..

3. Your fanny: Stand on the floor..on the balls of your feet..have a chair a foot in front of you and use the back of the chair for balance..thrust out
your pelvis and squeeze your fanny for 25 secs..release and repeat 3 more times..You will feel it all down your leg..and as you thrust your pelvis forward you will feel it more..

There is a face one that is really hard to explain..

Does this make sense??

I've been following this thread, and must say, I want them! I'm such a DVD ho...LOL It'll have to wait tho, as I can't afford them.. I'm getting the Core Rhythums as a b-day gift, to add to my already under used, rather large collection.. I don't think I can justify another at this time.. But I will be following this.. Please, everyone who has/gets them, keep posting your results!

And Carolyn, thanks for the descriptions of those few..

That makes sense. I kept thinking of each exercise as 1 minute. LOL

I definitely felt the exercises while doing it. I can see how it would work.

Kiki, the exercises that Carolyn described are just what's on the DVD. I don't think you even need to buy the DVD set if you don't want to spend the money for the books and info that you get. Just follow Carolyn's instructions.

jiggles,

So it's only those 3 positions? Geeee, I'm glad now I haven't ordered them.. I've done those {or something similar anyway} on and off for a long time.. So the key must be to do them a lot more often than I ever have... Who knew...

Thanks jiggles for letting me {us} know...

I still hope peoples will keep us up dated on their progress...

I'm guessing the face ones, are the ones on her Body Flex tapes.. Those I won't do..

Yup, Kiki, the 3 positions plus the face one. Here's how she describes it on the DVD. Make an "O" with your mouth and kind of squint your eyes up a bit. I suppose it should feel like you are sort of stretching your cheek areas out.

Sorry Veronica, I just got mine yesterday or I would've said that sooner. Who knows, maybe you'll find something useful out of the other info even though I didn't.

I haven't listened to the inspirational audio CD yet either.

Just be careful of those face ones ladies.. Doing that type {meaning the ones where you stretch your face and/or manipulate it} will CAUSE you lines, crows feet and wrinkles...

Carolyn and jiggles, you're so sweet to let us know.. It has saved me money thatcan be better spent elsewhere. If I can return the favor, let me know!
