Thanks for the information. I had seen a lot of the newer exercise dvd's are including the CC and hoped that newer copies of the callanetics started to include it. I will check out my library and see about the books.

I do Callanetics every other day. I alternate 10/10 and Evolution. I was pretty sore when I first started 10/10, then pretty sore in completely NEW spots when I started Evo. My "peach" still gets sore after a session where I have really tried to tighten up my form. But it's a GOOD kind of sore! I'm not sure about the cellulite--I THINK it's tightening up, but that might be wishful thinking on my part!

I found "Fit Forever" and the original Callanetics book at our local used bookstore. They have good pix and descriptions of the exercises in them.

I am through 7 hours so far and must say the difference is amazing already. My stomach is tightening up and my legs are slimming down. I don't want big muscle thighs and Callanetics is trimming them down and making them look more feminine like I want. This is GREAT -- so glad I found this info and the post at LCF. Thanks Friends!!

Just did an hour for the first time. Wow. Love this. I was just diagnosed with Rhuematoid Arthritis and I'm not supposed to do anything jarring to the joints. I think this will work great!

kbeth, come join us over on the june challenge thread. We all make a goal of hours we want to do and then post when we've done one, plus any questions or success stories we may have.

And good job on doing the first hour. Are you sore? I was really sore after the first hour.

Do the effects from doing this form of exercise go away when you stop? I know with strength training you keep some benefits. kwim?

Hey Everyone-

I am interested in doing weight training as well, and I was wondering if it'd be okay to do weight training one day and callanetics the next day?

Thanks so much! Everyone looks amazing.

I have a question. If you reshape your body with callanetics, do you have to keep doing it forever? I ask, because I really dislike workout videos. I'd rather be outside.

10 in 10 or stomach toning/abs -- ? my MAIN problems is my lower abs that still hang over my panty line after having my little one.
Amazon reviews on one said that the basic is about that same as the abs dvd? Is this true?
TIA, and I'm inspired by ALL of the before and after pictures. I wish I had more time to read through 8+ pages.

I believe I read something briefly about callanetics a long time ago, but apparently wasn't interested at the time. I'm not sure why. I found this thread today and ordered my 10/10 off eBay tonight. Curious to see how it goes

I'm very intrigued by the success pics earlier in the thread....I'm curious as to how much weight is "too much" to lose doing Callanetics alone. I would like to drop about 50 lbs...do I need to incorporate cardio along with this to really burn the fat off?

I'm wondering the same thing. As I do not have the time to exercise and Callanetics is the only workout I've been able to do at home. Other routines I've tried just won't stick.

Anyway, I'm going at it solely with Callanetics (10/10) and simply watching what I eat. I have almost 40 pounds to lose.

I'm certain it can be done, although, adding cardio should speed the process up. How much? That, I don't know.

Please, do correct me, if I'm wrong.

The photos are amazing. Well done everyone. I found 10/10 and super in my local library a couple of weeks back and my body feels so much better after doing it.

Those photos are amazing! I ordered Beginner Callanetics yesterday. Noone here seems to be doing beginner level. I hope that is enough to see some results as that's why I hate to exercise - don't see that it helps anyway.
I need to get rid of the spare tire and belly. Lifting the butt and firming the arms would be a nice plus.
Question: What is T-tapping? I saw that listed on some of the photos, they started with just callan, then at the end they also were doing "t-tapping" No clue what that might be. ?????

Adding cardio is highly recommended for the fat burning edge. You'll have far quicker results IMO.

I have a quick question, guess I should have asked it before I bid on 10/10.. Does 10/10 do alot of work on your chest?? I am not supposed to really work on my chest right now..

Hi all. All I can say is WOW!!! This is so inspiring. I have been trying to find some type of work out that would keep me interested, but not too complicated. I think this may fit the bill. Going to order off ebay for sure. I am soooo excited. When I get the video, I will be joining the challenge. Until then, I'll lurk a bit.
Thanks for showing your before/after photos.

Hey I know this is OFF topic, but what kind of dog is that in your avatar?

I FINALLY ordered a couple of callanetic DVDs!!! After seeing such great results, I decided to try it myself!!
