where are the photos?
Hello, everyone. My interest was piqued by the title of this Callanetics thread. However aside from the first page, I don't notice many pictures of before and after. Am I missing something? Is there a section I'm missing with progress photos?

[QUOTE=JulesDouce;13206971]I accidentally stumbled on this page but the Callanetics sounds great. Where do I start? Which program is best for beginners - the 10/10? I've done some yoga and strength training so I'm not completely out of shape. But I definitely need to tone up for my upcoming wedding. Is this like Pilates?
![]() Thanks for helping out a newbie! -Jules Hi I started with 10/10 but Evolution is supposed to be a good starting point too. It is a similar concept to Pilates but, in my opinion, ten times better. It will def shape you up in time for your wedding. Why not post your question on the March Callanetics Challenge thread so more people (including instructors) will be able to help... |

ooo, I just did 1 of 10. Very interesting, very relaxing, no impact, not easy. Almost reminds me of Windsow Pilates moves. I really enjoyed this video. the 1 hour went fast.

I wanted to share my pictures. I'm far from done but I have before pics, pics during after 3 hours, 6 hours and now current after 17 hours. I love how Callanetics is helping to reshape my body along with walking and strength training. I am so relaxed after I do my stretching.
Here is my before picture: ![]() Here are pics after 3 hours of Callanetics: ![]() ![]() Here are pictures after 6 hours: ![]() ![]() Now are pictures after 17 hours of Callanetics which was from today: ![]() ![]()

bclause, that's great!!! I can really see how things have started to lift and pull in. Your legs too are noticeably thinner. Your most recent pictures are a little more difficult to see much torso-wise, because of the baggy top, but man! can you ever see a difference in your neck! And of course that is just a reflection of what's going on underneath the clothing. Good stuff!!! Keep it going girl!!! Wooooo Hoooo!!!

Bclause - I can't see the pictures but congratulations on your progress. I am hoping that I have a lot of progress too. I have only completed 5 hours so far but hopefully I can pick it up some.

Sorry but I am going to repost later today. I wanted to take a different picture for the 17 hours which is where I am now. I am going to wear a more fitted top and my yoga pants so you can really see the changes. I will start doing that for all future pics. I still have a long ways to go but I'm getting there week by week.

bclause, you look great! I am wondering how much weight loss you have had during the time period you have been doing Callanetics? Also, how many hours a week were you/are you doing?

Thanks so much everyone. Actually I was wrong and I started on 2-17 so I've been at this for almost 5 weeks now. I started at 3x a week and went to 4x this month. I do T-Th-Sat-Sun. I also walk 15 miles per week and started doing strength exercises on M-W-F. I have lost 11 pounds and 2" off my waist and hips. I think I lost around an inch off my bust. The muscles in my legs are getting so defined and the cellulite is smoothing out plus my behind is lifting up. The lower pooch in my abs is lifting up. It's making my belly poke out more in the middle but it's going away. The fat above my hips is also raising up and starting to smooth out. I'm getting so flexible and I have better balance. I love how I feel after I'm done.

Ok so I retook my 17 hours of work. I hope this gives you a better idea. Sorry but the flash decided to show that I have headlights. Must be the black top.

Bclause, all I can say is wow, wow, wow! I thought from the photos that this progress had taken months and that you certainly had lost about 30 pounds! I am so impressed at the changes in just five weeks and with only an 11 pound loss. Fantastic progress!

Thanks so much. A couple of my friends are telling me how skinny I look. I'm glad that I'm taking these pics b/c it's helping to show me how much I really am changing. I can feel but not always see it. Thanks again everyone. I love how callanetics is changing my body.
poopsie I had lost about 9 pounds from that first picture in the green top to when I started Callanetics. So I have lost a total of 20 pounds from then (end of Jan) until now. But I only lost 11 pounds from when I actually started Callanetics until now plus about 5". Last edited by bclause; 03-23-2010 at 08:16 AM.. |

I am an inspired newbie! Just ordered my DVD (Callanetics: 10 years younger in 10 hours) today for $10 on ebay w/shipping included. I am also interested in reducing my bust size and after reading several post on this thread, I saw that Callanetics will lift the bust, but not reduce them. Does anyone have any recommendations for me to help with that process. My other form of exercise is bicycling and I know it won't help in the bust area.
