Yes, God is good!!! It's quite dark and overcast this morning, and the forcast says rain!!!

Update: my eyes are still blurry after having my month checkup. I have to wait another 2 months before the doctors decide on giving me an enhancement. They said that my eyes have overcorrected themselves, due to the shock of surgery, but God knows all about it. A canadian minister who's name is Todd Bentley from Abbotsford, B.C. Canada, who has a healing ministry, [presently has been in lakeland florida where a revival has been going on, and many people have been healed, delivered and saved. He will be holding a healing service on September 17, at the Ag-Rec Building in Abbotsford, the day before my birthday], I will be on holidays for that week, praying and believing God will do a miracle. Keep praying Ladies that God will do the impossible!!!

Hi everyone. feeling some better today but still taking it easy.
Not much with me today, my Hubby is home with me today, he took off work to do somethings and care for me to. He made us a good lunch, chicken salad stuffed tomatoes. he said he wanted to lose ten pounds so we are doing our low carb thing as usual.

Mary, I liked your poem and I'm glad you're feeling better. That's nice that your DH is home spending time with you, and that you both can work on low carbing together.

Morning Ladies,

This morning it's cool at a temp around 62 degrees and I'm hoping it will rain. I've lost 2 pounds!!! I cut back a bit on my portions, and apparently it's working. Each morning I get my exercise by walking to and from the bus stop, which helps keep me motivated. I'm also reading a book on eating disorders and how God can help us in that area, to overcome this disorder.

It's foggy outside today, but that is OK. We got some much needed rain last night...

It rained last night too and we've been having more rain, which is a blessing. I love the cool weather!!!

My sister is feeling better and her thyroid meds are kicking in. This is great, because she loves to garden and is has recently started a gardening business. My nephew, brother are going to get tested for hypothyroidism, and I might has a mild case of it too, so will see. God has it all in his hands!!!

I'm hoping for some too pretty soon. I've been eating clean for the last 3 weeks, finally! So I feel good mentally and physically.

I updated my faith webpage - Heather's Catholic Homepage - finally, after like, earlier this year! LOL!

The weather has been more like fall (yay!) with loads of rain and temps in the 60's. Altho I would like the same temps and party sunny instead

I'm doing good, down 8 lbs since Aug 1st, and with having my period last week and a cold this week, it's been 2 weeks since I last weighed myself. Hope to see a loss come next week!

I love how we are under grace and not the law!!! Makes it so much easier that we don't have to worry if we're breaking a commandment, because no one can live under the law. God made a way for His Son to take all our sins from us. What the law couldn't do, Jesus did with His shed blood!

Ro 3:25
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Ro 5:9
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Morning Ladies, T.G.I.F. Happy Friday!!!

Patty, we're very fortunate and I'm very thankful that we have religious freedom in North America.

We, as christians are reminded of countries like China, Iraq, Sudan, Uganda, and others places around the world that are still persecuting our christian brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We should keep those christians that are suffering for the faith, in our constant prayers. I've post a new thread, "What book are you reading?" and have mentioned an excellent read called, "The Heavenly Man," which is an account of a christian brother Yun, who has suffered greatly for the faith. What an eye opener!!!

Ladies, over several months the holy spirit has been prompting me about giving out tracts for the faith. I've seen the Jehovah's witnesses and now siks standing at the skytrain on a daily basis, holding pamplets up for their faiths, but never christians. Why is that? But, actually several years back there was one sweet soul, a mother with her young daughter standing on the side giving out tracts for Christ, and I happened to come across her and encouraged her to keep doing what she was doing for the faith.

I've since put it in the back of my mind, but I think God has been prompting me lately. I don't know if I should do so or not. The only time would be saturday mornings. I should pray about it and ask God for direction. Don't ever feel guilty if you don't witness, like standing on the street corner, because God uses us in other areas to spread the gospel of Christ.

Good Morning Ladies!!

It's another beautiful day. I don't care how warm it gets here, it's still a day the Lord has made!!!

Tammy, I had thought about doing that, but never did. I believe it wasn't what the Lord wanted me to do at that time.

What I have learned from bible study is that Paul say's we are Christs' embassadors, and it's by our actions that people will see we are in Him.

I believe the Lord has opened up doors up for me to talk to people about the gospel of Christ and about His death, burial, and ressurection and how He shed His blood for us. People don't realize that all they have to do is just believe! Nothing else. Faith plus nothing. . . no working for our salvation, no getting "cleaned up" prior to believing. He has made it so simple for us.

If unbelievers get the impression we have to do this or that to obtain salvation, then it becomes work and it's not what we do, but what He has already done for us.

That's what unbelievers need to know. Pauls say's it in the Word, according to the revelation given to him by our Lord.

Good Morning Dear Sisters... I had a very rough night itching and couldn't fall to sleep until really late, so I feel kind of yucky today. I wish the itching would just go away. Patty, that's too bad about the itching thing. I pray that God will reveal to you what it is that is causing the itching. And to give you the strength and calmness you need to in dealing with this infirmity.

Diana, you're right in saying that we, as christians need to be embassators of Christ, and be living examples of how God is working and perfecting us in the faith. Refining us like fire and changing us from glory to glory. To the glory of the Father who is in Heaven, and reigns forever and ever, amen.
