Hello Dear Sisters,

Have been away for awhile due to death in our family.
My husbands brother-in-law passed away last week.
He was only 57 years old and an alcoholic all his life.
Within 2 weeks his liver finally failed, his kidneys failed, his
feet turned black due to diabetis/poor circulation.
He was abusive to wife and children.

The good news??? I was there 2 1/2 hours before he passed away but witnessed
him asking Jesus to forgive him and come into his heart !

God is still on His throne and in the "saving" business ! Praise God for his loving
grace !

Blessings,

Jeanne

Jeanne, that's a wonderful thing to hear! In the midst of everyone's loss, he was saved. I am sorry for what you've all had to go through, though.

Hey Jeanne, thank Goodness God is on the throne and loves us unconditionally, that He saves our loved one and brings our families together in Christ Jesus!!! Sorry, about your loss though. He is in a much better place, [painfree, not suffering], but rejoicing in Heaven with the angels and the saints!!!

God Bless You,

Morning Ladies,

I went home from work sick with a sore throat and I think I should take today off too, because I need some rest. I will!!! Pray that God gives us 'favor' concerning this siduation. I believe He is already is working it out and is sustaining us with the noisy neighbour upstairs. My mom said yesterday that she too was "disquieted' about it. But get this!!! While she was driving and pondering her thoughts, God spoke to her heart and gave her this, "why are you disquieted in your soul? Hope in God!"

"Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:5 NIV.
Doesn't that say it all? This was God's answer to us, despite those that are not considerate of others and are disturbing our peace, amen. We can hope in God and He will work things out. Praise Him!!!

Patty, I'm getting used to scheduling my thyroid meds and other medication each morning, and believing that God will take care of my health. Hope your cross-stitching is coming along. Take care.

Godsbeloved, Worldchanger, Mary, Diana, Staretta, Kensbev and thoses I missed!!!

Have a great day in Christ Jesus!!!

Wendy, they advertise those on the radio all the time. I'm interested, because I think it'll be great for DH and me. We just need to get someone to watch the kids for the weekend. I hope their grandparents aren't sick of them yet, lol!

Hello girls. It's been a while since I have posted but we have had a lot going on. I have spent many days lately with my sister in law. We have thought she was in labor already and the doctors got it stopped. I have been actively trying to find her as many free baby things as possible. And the Lord is providing. I went into a reuse store here and asked about an infant seat and the clerk told me they had none. The woman behind DH and myself asked if we needed a car seat. When we told her yes she said she had one that was new that she would give us. I gave her our name and number and we were supposed to meet her at the store the next day. Late that night she called and asked what else SIL needed. Needless to say when we met her the next day she had the carseat, lots of sleepers, onsies, tshirts, various clothes and even two bed sets for his baby bed. We thanked her many times for blessing our SIL like this. DH said "God bless you" and reply was "He already has, that's why i can share this with you." I was almost in tears. The Lord knew we needed help and he provided. It was wonderful!

Between being with SIL and taking care of my own family I have had not nearly as much time for myself and my online friends. I have thought of you all and missed you very much. I am going to have to read back through the thread and catch up on everyone.

I hope that all has been well. I will check back in tomorrow. God bless you all!

Your friend in Christ,
Terri

Oh, Terri! That is a wonderful story! We were studying in church tonight about how God cares for his children. What a perfect example!

Can you girls pray for my pastor and his wife, please? Mary just announced that she's pregnant with #5, but I found out tonight that they had no heartbeat on the last ultrasound. I'm really grieving for them. I know that they're solid Christians, and they'll lean on God during this painful time, but prayer doesn't ever hurt. And, I say, the more the better!

OH Kensbev, my goodness!!! I will definitely pray for your pastor and his wife. That God will intervene on their behalf and the baby's life. God is able.

Read this: I want to tell you something. A miracle happened just recently about a fellow christian's brother, that has been in the hospital because the doctors had found an aneurysm in his brain. Thankfully, 2 church congregations have been praying earnestly for this young man, and won't you know it, God did a miracle on his behalf. Apparently, the doctors are amazed that they can't find a trace of that aneurysm!!! It's a true miracle of God's amazing healing power. Praise Him!!!

He is able to touch your pastor's wife with amazing results. Ask in prayer, believing and trusting God that He will do a miracle like the one this young man has experienced. God is able to do the impossible and much more!!!

God bless,
Tammy HUGS HUGS HUGS!!!

Morning Ladies,

I'm back to work for today and friday, but it's taking time,[so far ten days with this viral infection], to get over this nasty sore throat. I've been missing church and singing practice, because my throat hurts too much. It's my ministry. Please pray that God will touch my throat so that I can sing again, amen.

Patty, how is the cross-stitching coming along? Hope things are okay with you? Take care.

Mary, hope you're having better days without pain. God sustain you and keep you.

Dedicated, how are you doing dear? Please let me know, okay? Thanks.

Terri, that's okay, but do find time for yourself, okay? Your health is important. It's amazing how God is always working behind the scenes and sending us a blessing when we lest expect it. He knews when to provide for that expecting mother's needs and when we're too busy to ask Him. That because He is God and cares about everything we do.

God wants to be involved in our lives, and sometimes we get so caught up in the cares of this life, that we forget that He is there watching over us and has to remind us that He is the eternal Father in Heaven who is able and is willing to provide and care for us on our behalf. We do need to take the time to thank Him and praise Him for His love for us. He really loves that when we praise Him. Praise Him and let Him know you care for Him today, and thank Him for His goodness and mercy.

Godsbeloved, Worldchanger, Mary, Diana, Staretta and thoses I missed!!!

God Bless,

Good afternoon ladies!

I thought I'd pop in as I finish my lunch. I am really trying hard to get my living room in order. The Christmas tree usually goes up Thanksgiving so I have a lot of work to do. I am asking the Lord to give me the strength I need to accomplish this goal. I know he wants us to do the best we can all the time. So I am trying not to be slothful and get things done.

It's so good to see you all! it really makes me happy to come in this thread! What a blessing it is to all of us!

Kensbev~I will remember them in my prayers. What a hard thing to have to deal with, no matter how strong their faith.

I should get busy. I'll check in again later.

BTW....my avi is me being baptized. The photographer caught a great pic I think!

I say, definitely find a babysitter and go! It gave hope and pointed out things to us that we hadn't realized at ALL. I think that was about 6-7 years ago. This past weekend was our second-and-a-half time going. It has helped us so much that I wish that I could pay for everybody else to go!
