EACH season is glorious. The glory of summer is different from the glory of fall. And the splendor of winter is different from spring.

God takes us through different seasons in our lives: seasons of reoicing, mourning, saying hello and goodbye, building up and tearing down. The glory of the season of rejoicing is laughter, refreshment, and revitalization. The gift of the season of mourning can be profound intimacy with the Lord.

Whatever our current season, it will not last. We can no more remain in one season of life than one kind of weather can last throughout the year. Life brings seasons of both mourning and dancing, times of embracing and times to refrain from embracing.

The key, of course, is to remember that God is at work within us in each season. We are not always aware of what God is doing; often each season brings about change and growth. God begins the good work, sustains it, and will bring it to completion. (See Phil. 1:6.)

Prayer
Thank you, God, for the glory of each season. May we fulfill your purposes throughout our lives. Amen.

I'm doing well, just needed to separate myself for awhile and get some godly counsling. All is well with me, got the grace and peace from our Lord!!

Here's a scripture to meditate on:

Ephesians 1:6-8
6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

8Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Diana, sweetie there you are!!! I prayed for you and knew you hadn't gone far from us. Sometimes it's good to take a break for awhile and come before God at the throne of grace. There you will find peace and joy everlasting, and rest for your soul.


Ladies, I need your support, friendship and assurance too. These past days have been a bit rough on me, getting the eye surgery and not having perfect vision right away. It has been a bit disappointing, and frankly I had hoped that I would see better, but I know they said it takes time for my eyes to stabilize and completely heal. I have to be strong and wait patiently in the Lord.

Diana, I too have been coming to the throne of grace, praying and believing that God is able and willing to speed up my recovery. I'm not a really patient person, but when it comes to things that are important I put my all into it. His grace is sufficient for me, for my strength is made perfect in my weakness.

"And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corthinthians 11:9 KIV.

Patty Ann, yes indeed!!! We need to come together as a group in unity, in the Lord. God hasn't finished with us yet and He has many plans for us. He is using us women to be fruitful in spreading the word of God, by talking about it and showing others that He is the centre of our lives and the strength that we need daily. Because we can't do it alone, we are as helpless as babes without him, and need to lean on His word every day, growing in the faith and wisdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mary, I like your poem!!! It's so true that a smile can be catching and can even reach others around the world. I'm reminded that we as christians need to shine for Jesus and when we have peace with Him, we radiate His love, His peace and His joy!!! We are the reflection of Christ Himself and are changing from glory to glory, (2 Corinthians 3:18),until He returns in the clouds of glory with radiance and great power, and majesty!!!

I think you just need to give you eyes time to heal. Of course everything has to heal in their own time and as the dr I'm sure told you, it will take time. We'll believe that nothing will hinder the process and that you will have a little patience my Friend!
