Hi everyone.
Not much with me today, just rrying to get some wash done thats all.

Diana, we had a nice anniversay, we went out to dinner and just spend some time together and had a nice time together.

Patty I am about to get started on some of my crafts I want to make for Xmas gifts.
So that will keep me busy for awhile.

Mary have fun doing the crafts. I enjoy cross stitch so much and I have lots and lots of them to do. I am just now getting back to doing it after having chronic itching for 4 years and couldn't do it... God is Good !!!

Hi Sistas,

I got to work on time and the day went well. Praise God for another good day!!! Tonight at 7:30pm is my singing practice which has started up again, and we usually pratice, going through the songs we will be singing on sunday morning, until about 10pm. I usually am pretty tired, but I figure that it's my ministry to sing with the worship team and so I make myself go. It is a rewarding ministry and I enjoy praising God while I sing with my group on sunday mornings.

I believe that we all have a ministry and we can ask God to help us find out what that ministry is, regardless of what it might be. Maybe you can't sing a note, but you can be a blessing to others in serving one another or God can use you in other areas that touch people in wonderful ways. God is no respecter of persons and uses whomever He wishes, and turns your gifts and talents into blessings to the glory of God.

Dedicated, I just joined myspace and I would love for you to come visit my me anytime my friend.

Patty, you sure are a bundle of energy. Are you doing the cross stitching for christmas gifts?? I'm haven't finished my scarf yet, but I will get it done. Oh, and I'm still getting my thyroid checked and have already had my second blood test done [TSH, free T4]. I'm praying that I will have more energy, and not be so fatigued in the evenings. That means more time to chat with you lovely Ladies. He, He.

Mary, Happy Anniversary!!! I like doing crafts too, especially at Christmas time. Christmas is my favorite time of year and doing crafts like knitting, makes my stress go away.

Good Morning Ladies!

I am getting ready to head out for my Friday ritual. I always go to the local outlet type place when they open on Fridays. They get many overstocks/returns from Target and other places. I am gearing up to decorate for Christmas so I am hoping they are starting to put those type things out soon.

DH just informed me that he has to work on Thanksgiving day and the day after. I am so saddened by this. Not only will he miss the holiday but he won;t be around for the day after Thanksgiving shopping. And he really is helpful that day. I don;t even know if I want to go if he can't go with me. It just makes me sad.

I was blessed yesterday with a phone call from a cousin in Texas. We have only seen each other twice in the past 20years. She is a very dedicated to the Lord woman. She had many ideas about Bible study that she wants to send me. I am excited about that. We talked for about 2 hours. It was so nice to reconnect with my family.

Tammy~So are things back to normal at church now? I have prayed for you and your church to have the Lord set the right person in there to lead. I wish we had a bigger congregation and had a choir. I love to sing at church not matter how bad I sound!

Patty~So the cross stitching is going well. I love to do it but I get frustrated when I realize that I made a mistake and have to take all the stitches out to fix it. I guess if I paid better attention then I wouldn't have mistakes to fix. It is something that I would like to teach my DD to do. She is very creative and loves to sew so I think she would really like it alot.

Good Morning ladies... Well I have slowed down on the cross stitch today. I am just worn out from doing it. These 12 to 14 hrs of cross stitch a day is getting to me, but I am making progress, and yes I have to tear out stitches too. I think I am being careful and then wham here comes a mistake. Sometimes I leave it and work around it... No one knows but me anyway...

Evening Ladies,

Hope you'll are having a great friday night. I just finished having take out lazagna from Boston Pizza, and it tasted good. Hearing the fireworks in the going off in the background. This evening at our church they hold a costume party for the kids, so that they don't feel left out and it's a safer night for them. The congregation donates many candies for this special night.

Thanks you all for your needed prayers and wonderful support. Yes, everything went very well with the surgery and it was a faster procedure this time, using the custom method. I can see much better, 'cause I'm typing without wearing my glasses. He, he. although there is a little discomfort, this is to be expected for the first day. But tomorrow I will be feeling much better when I see the surgeon at 9:30am for a post op checkup. I'm praising God for giving me this chance of better vision.

Terri, yes things are better at church and we have a solid foundational patoral staff that is handling the siduation until they find the right person to take over the job. They have place an intern pastor for the time being who is well educated and has previous experience in helping churchs make that transition. Him and his wife are so nice, loving, kind and understanding. Praise Jesus!!! He knows what He is doing and places the right people in charge when a crisis is at hand, and although we are still grieving our loss, we can work through this with keeping united in Christ Jesus.

Dedicated, thanks. I'm excited and I'm looking forward to reading your message. Maybe you have some tips that I can benefit from. Thanks girlfriend.

Morning Sistas!!!

A-okay this morning and with little discomfort. Have a checkup at 9:30am with Dr. King eye clinic. Will need two more followup appointments and then that it. WhooHoo!!! I believe it's been worth the wait and they have been so kind to me, especally the fact that I didn't have to pay for this enhancement which saved me money. I'm having my regular decap coffee and just finishing eating my oatmeal. This weekend we change the clocks back one hour, which means we will have an extra hour of sleep. I listen to news 1130 in the mornings and they just said that returning to standard time actually reduces heartattacks by 5%.

I slept-in until 8:30 this morning... I guess I have just been so tired from the cross stitch. I am going to take it a little easy today, and not force myself to keep going. I was so tired last night, that I made a lot of mistakes and had to rip it out...

Morning Sistas, Happy Sunday!!!

It's now standard time here on the west coast. I went to bed at a decent time last night, but forgot to set my alarm an hour ahead and I've woken up an hour too early this morning. LOL. My eyes are working A-Okay and I have a week followup appointment on friday. Praise Jesus!!! It poured all last night and the weather forcast says rain for the whole day, but it's overcast and light outside. I hope that it stays light out in the mornings for the next 2 months.

Patty, you should take it easy this weekend and get some rest. I know that when I'm tired that's when I make mistake, and I have to slow down and re-focus my attention on what I'm doing. Take care.

Good evening girls!

I find myself spending less time online as of late, something always happens, and I am having a hard time keeping up with everyone. I need to make time each day to share and learn with you all. I know the Lord wants us to have fellowship be it IRL or online. Not to mention the fact that you all are very inspirational to me. The verses and positive messages are all wonderful and we all need this everyday in our lives.

The Lord has really been blessing my DH lately. His is learning more and more in the Bible and is becoming quite the participant at church. He and I need to find time to do some Bible study together. I don't know why we haven't until now. I guess because we have such different schedules.

TAMMY~Thank the Lord your surgery was a success! It is wonderful that you are doing so well! You have one of the most positive outlooks of anyone I know so I knew the Lord would be at your side!

Terri, that okay. I try to keep positive about things. It takes work sometimes, but I've always believed inside my heart that God will work things out in my life. I've learned this truth through trial and life experience. I wasn't always this way, but God showed me the light of day through the darkness, He has always been there for me. He has never left my side and He will never leave yours. God has His hands on both of you and He's working things out in His way and in His time. Just relax, get used to each other's schedules and make time for God when you can. Stay close to God and He will stay close to you. Remember to keep your eyes on Jesus!!!

I'm glad that the surgery went well. The right eye is seeing very clearly, but the left eye is a bit blurry from the shock of the surgery, and needs to stablize. It will take a few weeks to determine what the left eye will do, but for now I'm praising God for His mercy and loving faithfulness.

Morning ladies!

I wanted to share a message from service yesterday!

yesterday we had Vicki Yohe as a guest singer and she started to give her testimony, she's got an awesome voice and uses it for Christ. She's sings all over the country for Christ. She started singing a song, "In his presence" and she started by telling us that she was getting dressed in her house and put her make up on and started walking out of the house. She went through her living room and she just felt the presence of Christ in her living room. She knew that he was there, she began to worship and just enjoy his presence. Then she said, If I was watching Jerry Springer, do you think Christ would meet me in my living room? and I felt so convicted! she was so right! I don't watch Jerry, but there are some questionable things on the tv that makes me literally turn my head and I'm aware of it, because it grieves my spirit. She talked about basically the things we surround ourselves with and expect God to meet us....how could he???

So as I thought about this I began to pray for us all of us here on this thread. I was walking and just felt such gratitude that our father could love us so much! It just amazed me how his grace renews every morning that we wake. I think about the times as a Christian I messed up and I should've known better, done better. But every time I came running back his arms were wide open to welcome me back! And I just kept walking and I knew I had to share this with you (even if some people may think I'm a fanatic) this relationship with Christ is real.....It amazed me how I know that I walk with Christ yet I was still convicted and wanted to get to another level with him. It doesn't matter how long I've been a Christian, what matters is that I'm real with him, I'm walking this Christian life for real, I have a relationship with Christ and Heaven is my home.
I say all this to encourage you to be real with him. I don't know where everyone stands in their walk with Christ but he's coming back soon so look at yourself be honest and get close to him. He loves you and wants the best for you, but we have to do our best to honor him! We can't get caught up in the things of this world, we can't be just like them. Wake up!!! people of God! Wake up! I'm searching myself right now because I would be devastated if come judgment day and God looks at me and says I don't know you, remove yourself from my presence...I'm walking with him on earth because hell is not for me! Heaven is my destination, what's yours? I pray you are truly encouraged by this and blessed
