Good morning ladies!

What an evening I had last night. We went out to eat and the waitress forgot t put our order in so and hour and a half later the manager finally came and told what happened. Then we went to walmart and my DD tripped in the parking lot and dropped the keys into a drain. There were my keys about 12 foot down in the bottom of the drain. Several employees and my DH worked at getting the about for an hour and a half before they finally got them out. DD and I got in the truck and started home and not two minutes later I hit a deer with our new truck. Thank God that we are ok and our truck is fine. I really have to give praises to him for protecting me and my family. Without God who knows where we would be right now. I truely am thankful!

So how has everyone been the last few days? Doesn't seem like many of us have popped in. I hope that everyone is doing well. Other than my craziness yesterday I have been feeling good. Even my depression has let up. Praises to God for that!

I am going to go into town to pick up a few things so I will check in later!

Have a BLESSED Day!!

I posted this on our Daily Devotionals to but wanted to post it here to for those who do not visit the other site.
I was just inspired to write this today and see what you felt about it.

----------------------------------------------------
There is no devotional today just something that was on my mind and I wanted to share it with you. Its about how God intervenes in our lives.

I was just thinking of all the things that God has done for me in my life and without them I may have not become the person I am today.
I want to tell you a little story about me...
When I was in my teens I was so in love with this guy I had dated and we dated until after our high school graduation and I and everyone else expected that we would marry one day but that did not happen.
I met my husband who just happpen to be in Florida on vacation with his family and we wrote and talked for two years and we did marry and have been married for 41 years this Oct. 28. Now if I had married that other guy I dated in high school I would have never had my two children and the life I have now with the most loving husband in the world. I know God had to have His hand in this event, I dare to think of the mistake I could have made in my life in God did not intervene.

God does intervene in our lives so much and sometimes we do not even relize it when He does. It could be with your job or where you live or just small things around the home and with your family. He intervenes in so many ways thats it would amaze us if we knew of all of them. We just take on our lives as our own and never credit God with the way we live it. But He is taking care of you and He does intervenes when He knows you will be making a big mistake or something that may harm you in some way. God has your life planned out for you, He even knows whom you will marry. At least I have always believed that!
So when something does not go your way, maybe its God intervening.

What are some ways God has intervened in your life?

I have another way God has intervened in my life but its a long story so I will have to write it in a seperate post.

God Bless.

Hello. I've posted on another board a few times but really seeking encouragement from
faith-believing women.

I've been through induction and on second week of low-carbing. Praise God, am losing.
Sometimes the amount of weight I need to lose just overwhelms me.

But I believe God is able and He knows the desire of my heart.

I'm retired (59 yrs. old) and disabled due to my obesity. But I do volunteer Christain
counseling at our local Womens Center.

The Lord has recently intervened in my life by showing me how hard it is to counsel
with women and tell them there isn't anything He can't heal and change for them,
when I didn't believe He could help me with my weight-loss !

I've asked the Lord to forgive my disbelief and repent by allowing Him to give me power
and strength to lose weight for Him ! That He would be glorified !

God Bless and please remember me in your prayers !

Jeanne

Hello everyone, How are you???

I'm back from my Victoria, BC holiday!!! It was great, relaxing and I miss it already. LOL.

Patty, you're going to be away for 2.5 months??? I will miss you, but us girls can keep things going while you're gone. I'm going to be knitting a muli-colored scarf for fall/winter wear. It will have medium colors of purple, orange, brown. This afternoon I have an eye appointment to go to. It's been 3 months since I got my laser eye surgery, and I will be discussing with Dr. Ho about needing an enhancement.

Mary, I have to catch up on the bible studies and devotions. Hope you're feeling okay.

Jeanne!!! Hey, that's my middle name. LOL. You've come to the right place for support and Godly christian fellowship. Please feel at home and post as often as you like. We will help you in any way we can. We are here for you.

Godsbeloved, Terri and all those I missed!!!

God Bless,

READ AND STUDY YOUR BIBLE EVERY DAY!

Jeanne, its so nice to have you join us here. Hope you post often and let us know how you are doing.
This is a great Christian group here and we love sharing our faith in the Lord with everyone.
There is also another site we have called Daily Devotional..NEW so I want to invite you to come join us there also.

Patty where are you going for 2.5 months? I will miss you! Yes, we will keep this site going, I kow Star and I will be here. Hope Jeanne to.

Star, I wish I cold knit like you do. My grand mother use to try to teach me when I was young but I just never could get the knack for it, but I do sew on my sewing machine and love that. I have custom made all our curtians for our home and I make table clothes. place mats, napkins for both the dining table and kitchen tables. I also sew alot of crafts items to. But never could knit....
Star I have to see eye doctor every three months to, I had laser surgery on my eyes but mine was for the pressure on them, they went in with the laser to open up the duct that the fluid drains in to lower the pressure in my eyes. Worked well to.

Where is Terri and Godsbeloved? Miss you two. Come back and post when you can.

I try to get some Bible study in each day. Since I do not work anymore I have alot of free time during the day while my hubby is working and I love reading and studying my Bible in the mornings when I am having my coffee.
I watch alot of Christian TV to and when-ever I hear anything on there that I am not sure about or know I will do some research on it on the net and in my Bible. I learn alot doing that. I guess you all see the studies and devotionals I post on
Daily devotionals--NEW. They are just some of the ones I study.

God is good to us and we should thank Him each day for all our Blessings He gives to us.
Pray daily and keep in touch with God and you will be amazed how wonderful your day will go for you.
God Bless.

Hello Ladies,

Mary, thanks for sharing and devoting your time with the new devotional thread. I too do the same thing when watching christian television, when I'm unsure of something they're teaching in their doctrine, I do the research to find out if their teaching is according to the bible. And if they're off, then I turn the channel immediately, because I don't want to support nor hear what they have to say if they're false teachers or prophets.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
A little Devotional: False Christs, Prophets, End Time Events

Jesus himself warned us of false christs, teachers and prophets who would appear in the last days, [which I believe we are living in today, until Christ returns in His glory at the last trumpet], because they will decieve many people. He also warns of false Christs, who call themselves "Christ" or "Messiah" and that we as Christians and followers of Christ ARE NOT TO GO WHERE THEY ARE, EVEN IF THEY ARE IN THE DESSERT. Because they could DECIEVE YOU, [if it were possible to decieve the ELECT; Us Saints], AND EVEN KILL YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. THEY REALLY HATE YOU! But, remember what Jesus said, that you would be hated because of Him. Jesus also mentioned that the ANTI-CHRIST was amongst Him and His Disciples, and is now present in this age. The ANTI-Christ is anyone who is against Christ and His teachings.

As you know we are seeing signs and wonders, and have hear reports of disasterous events which are happening around our world today, through media, world news and the internet. I believe that a world revival is upon us and God is pouring out His Holy Spirit on all flesh, which is another prophecy that is being fulfilled at this present time in History. Past bible prophecies and future ones have been and are being fullfilled even now, and are about to happen in the near future to come. Why is this happening you ask? Because the time of Christ's return is upon us and He is coming sooner then we think. Why do I know this? because the signs are there. Look around. You can't denign what is happening around us. God said that He would come after the GOSPEL IS PREACHED ALL OVER THE WORLD, and He is using television, satellites, the media, and internet to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.

The bible says that Jesus Himself doesn't know the time of the end, nor the Holy Angels, but only the Heavenly Father knows this. We as children of the King are to be watchful of these events, but are not to be fearful of what is happening upon the earth. Because God will take care of us!!! Isn't that wonderful!!!

Even now God is working with the body of Christ and raising up prophets, teachers, preachers, and those practicing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, [an army of saints], because the HARVEST IS RIPE and ready for the picking. There is a great need for workers to bring in the Harvest.

So dear fellow christians and saints of Christ, lets get ready before He comes to take the bride, [the body of Christ; Us His saints], with Him in the clouds of glory, to be with His forever, and ever, amen.

Salvation Prayer: If you or anyone you know doesn't know Christ personally as His/Her Savior and Lord, or if you ,yourself, would like to rededicate your life to Christ, please say this prayer with me in faith.

"Dear Jesus, I know that I have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. You died on the cross of calvary and pay my sin debt, nailing my sin to the cross. I confess my sin(s) now before you, believing that you have forgiven me completely. I ask you to personally come into my heart and take over my life, in your name Jesus. Thankyou for giving me this "free" gift of salvation, that I truely don't deserve, but you have given to me in love, because you love me unconditionally, amen. [Note:You are now God's child and you're going to Heaven. Find a church or fellowship that teaches the gospel of Christ, [Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; Holy Bible Teachings; Paster who rightly divides the word of Truth; Trinity and the Holy Spirit Teachings; the Return of Christ; Jesus the Messiah.]

Hi Godsbeloved, Diana where are you?, Terri and those I've missed!!!

God Bless You,

Good afternoon !

What a wonderful God we have !

After I sang in Church worship service this morning, (I sing solo when asked.........or
at least make a "joyful noise", a dear sister came to me (during service) and broke down
and just held me and wept and prayed in the spirit. She was obedient to the Lord to
come & pray with me as I was to make an effort to sing for Him. (my husband has to
help me stand). Usually I cannot stand over a minute at a time, but the Angels always
hold me up when I sing ! One of the few times I'm in no pain !

Ladies, God was in the House ! Oh how we NEED each other to lift up and give
encouragement.
He gives us strength and power when we have none of our own !
It isn't about us ! It's about Him !

Blessings,

Jeanne

Patty, I bet the cross stiching will be pretty when you finish it and I am sure well worth the hours you put into it to.

Jeanne, so nice to have you here with us. I just love for Gods people to all join together and us all talk about our Lord. It is wonderful to know that the angels of the Lord will hold you up when you sing like you did. I feel anytime we do anything for the Lord He will hold us up or allow His angels to .
http://
I cannot stand long either due to bad arthritis in my hips and knees and I know the Lord and His angels hold me up alot to or I would never be able to do some things like I do because of the pain.
Jeanne, I also think praying with our friends is so rewarding to. My best freind and I use to pray together all the time, But she got cancer and now is with the Lord in Heaven. I miss her so but I have all our memories to keep alive in my heart and I know one day i will see her again.

Star, thanks for todays devotional on "False Christs, Phrophets, and End Times Events". I love studing the end days and just last night I was reading the book of Revelation.

I have been very concerned about our nation right now to with the election coming up soon and our economy. I have been praying about that so I want to ask you all if you would pray with me. Our nation needs to come back to God, its roots as a nation, what it was founded on, or I am afraid it may meet disaster if we don't. So lets just all say a prayer for our nation tonight.

What a beautiful day we have here today, so bright and sunny and warm outside, I hear some blue jays making all sorts of racket, boy they are noisy birds, but so pretty.
I have been sitting out on my patio earlier to soak up some sunshine, I try to do that most everyday if the weather permits because it makes my old bones with this arthritis feel better and your body gets vitimin D from the sun to which my bones need. Had my lunch out there to.
http://

God Bless you all today.

Thanks Mary, I haven't worked on it as much today as usual... I am wore out and I only got 4 hrs. sleep last night, so I am working on empty, but I know when I get the trillion stitches done, it will be worth it...

Morning Ladies,

I'm back to work today and this week will be a short 4 day week. I was so busy on the weekend, but got a chance to see my Dad on monday after I got some blood work done at the biomedical lab.

Ladies, I'm finally getting tested for a hypothyroid and this is my 2nd test for T4 which I don't have to pay for. Praise God!!! I found out that my TSH, colesterol and blood pressure 130/90 are all abit high, possibly due to the thyroid. But I'm believing that God will keep me in good health, I'm working on getting my weight down, 'cause I gained most of it back. But thank God I've lost 2 pounds that I recently gained.

Mary, I'm also concerned about the Americian economy and pray that the right candidate for presidency will get in. Hope you're feeling better and I pray that God will keep your artritis at bay today.

Patty, how is your cross stitiching coming along? I tried that a while ago, but didn't have the patience. LOL. I'm knitting a multicolored scarf and hope to finish it this weekend, but it might take another week to complete.

Staretta, how are things with you? I'm glad you joined us here and like to sing in church. I also sing in a worship team and love it!!! So I know how rewarding it is to sing and praise God. The bible says that we should sing song of praise to our God, with the instruments we have including voice.

Godsbeloved, Diana, Terri and those I missed!!!

You'll have a great day!!!

Where is Terri? Miss youy Terri, come back and post with us.
Hi Patty and Star, hope you are doing good today.

Patty you better get your rest and not wear yourself out. Trying to do to much can be hard on the body sometimes."Like my mother always said, what-ever you are doing it will be there when you get back to it, it ain't going nowhere".

Star hope you have a good check up with your thyroid.

Not much with me today, my back and legs have been bothing me now for awhile and my doctors office is suppose to be making me a schedule to have another MRIU but so far it has not been set yet. So I am taking it easy until I get that done. Just hope all that arthritis in my spine has not messed up anything else because I sure do not want to have anymore surgery on it.
I hurt even sitting here in my chair at my computer so I have been getting up and down alot stretching my legs and back and that helps. Had to get rid of my desk chair and get one of my den comfy chairs to sit in here at my computer. It sure is alot more comfortable on my back.

God Bless and have a great afternoon.

My goodness...I haven't posted in a while have I? I am sorry! I you all so I am not sure where my mind has been.

I have just been cleaning during the day trying to get rid of unneeded things so that I can get the two chairs in my living room soon. They are from my dear neighbor who recently passed house. Her daughter wanted me to take them. We can definately use them. Our dog chewed our furniture so much when she was younger. It will be nice to have good looking chairs again. It has been challenging trying to go through things and sort things out. I hold on to way to many things. Not to mention that I can't do a lot w/o having to sit down for a few minutes. I have thankfully gotten most of the living room cleaned now. And i got my lined curtains up, I really like them for helping keep heat in.

On Sunday, my best friend and his family came to church. I was so happy. He has a bad problem with alcohol and this is such a major step in the right direction. His wife even texted me to find out what Bible we study from. I am praying that they continue to come. He needs to hear that the Lord is the only person that can clean him up, that by himself he cannot do it alone.

~MARY~((hugs)) I think you often during the day. I do pray that God helps relieve some of your pain. You always have such inspirational words to share. I know that the Lord has special plans for you!

~TAMMY~I hope that the tests soon figure out what is going on with you. The confusion of not knowing is tough. God will see you through this and so will we! We are here for you girl!

~PATTY ANN~You sure are brave taking on a huge cross stitching project. I love to do it but it makes me so tired!

~RONDA~Welcome! I too am praying that someday I will have another baby. You will find a group of wonderful ladies here! They lift me up everytime I turn around!

Everyone else Hello!!!

I may be MIA after tomorrow. We have a camping trip planned for the weekend Thurs-Monday. But DH and DD are wanting to take off tomorrow when I get home from work instead of waiting until Thursday afternoon. I don't know yet....we'll see I guess. The campground has a wonderful Halloween weekend with lots of family things going on. I am praying that the rain misses us but I don't think it is likely that it will.

Terri, youy enjoy your camping trip. I use to love to camp when we were younger. We camped on the beach at a state park on the Gulf of Mexico. We would fish and walk the beach and have a camp fire, it was so nice. As we got older and had more health problems we just top going. We still ride down to the beach alot and wade in the ocean but thats all anymore.

Rhonda, its so nice to have you here with us. hope you post often.

HI patty and Star, hope you are having a great day.

Jeanne, whats up with you today? Jeanne I like what you said here-

us ! Believe that with all your heart."

This is so true and I try my best to do just that everyday and I know you all do to.
God is so wonderful to us all and He is always here for us no matter what we have done or said in our lives. He will forgive us and give us a new life. When we stay in Gods word everyday we will grow like we have never grwon before. We will find a love an peace that will over-whelm us.
When God lives in our lives we will find ways to overcome anything that we may face in our life. Thats because He is there with us to guide us though it all.

Hope all of you have a Blessed day in the Lord.

Good evening all.
My DH and I went to our local library today to do an early vote. Couldn't believe the
long lines already ! We were there 1 1/2 hrs. Got it done !

Couldn't help but listen to all the talk around me. So many worrying about the fate of
our nation, but more so about the financial fate.

There are times when I actually have to shut down the TV, radio, and not look at a
newspaper. The enemy will try to get us so upset and worried and distraught over
the future.

But we as believers KNOW who holds the future ! It's all in God's hands. We have no
need to fear or hide. We just need to put all our trust and faith in Him !

Blessings,

Jeanne

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I didn't post this morning, 'cause I slept in a bit and had to leave for work, but got there on time. It turned out that my boses were all late coming in anyway. LOL. Glad that I'm finally getting things done heathwise, 'cause I'm really on it! This has given me a bit of a scare with my blood pressure and colesteral being a bit high and all. But, the doctor at the drop-in clinic is a christian, and although she is busy, she's keeping an eye on me. Praise God!!! She's a wonderful doctor and I'm very thankful. I love the Lord, 'cause He takes care of us and meets are daily needs, and especially the ones that are most important to us. Thank you Jesus.

Staretta, you're so right! We can get so caught up in the cares of this life, with worry and anxiety, making ourselves sick. I could worry myself sick when watching the media here in Canada, with watching the American politics and Globle News around the world, but we need to be reminded that the God of the Universe is in charge of things. And He is very capable of handling our world in the crisis it is in.

Ladies, the signs of the times show that we are definately in the last days on this earth, and we're not to fear nor be anxious about anything, but to stand firm in Christ Jesus. We need to trust him again. And that is not an easy thing to do, when the world around us is in crisis. But God sees the whole picture of things and knows what is going to happen next. It takes effort to stop worrying about things and put trust in Him. But when we do, He delights in those who come to him in humility. He recieves us with His wonderful grace and kindheartedness, which He bestows on us, when we come to the throne of grace and find peace.

I'm so thankful for God's "free gift" of salvation by grace, that He loved us enough to allow us to become children of the King. We could have been born in another country, been taught a different culture and religion or belief system, but He choose us to be His heirs the His Kingdom and for that I am truly thankful.

Patty, Mary, Diana, Terri and thoses I missed!!!

God be with you all in Christ Jesus,
and have a great night!!!
