Patty we are getting rain to here. It started last night and still raining but we needed it.
I do love the fall and cooler weather to but we don't get much of it here, at least not this early in the year. Its been hot here until today when the rain cooled us down some but its muggy outside. I like it when its in the 60's best. Any cooler I get to cold in. |

Hi Sistas, How was your day? Mine was alright, I've been tired though but okay.
Three more days and I'm on holidays. Our thanksgiving is on monday, but our church is having it on Sunday after service, plus my co-worker invited me to her church's dinner this saturday. That's two dinners. I haven't been invited to that many in years. LOL. Then me and mom are off to victoria for two nights. Here's where we'll be staying, Victoria Bed and Breakfast Accommodations Victoria, BC which is located on the south tip of vancouver island is the capital of BC and was named after Queen Victoria. There is parliament buildings there and most of the houses are in victorian style from the 1800's. The Bed and Breakfast that we're staying in is a victorian house. I haven't been there since I was about 6 years old, which was in the 1970's, but I can fegly remember the famous Butchart Gardens. These beautiful gardens are known for there 55 acres of gardens, it's a huge place. The famous garden was created in 1904 and is open all year long. It has over 1 million bedding plants which are used annually. It takes a few hours just to walk through them. Here's a website, The Butchart Gardens photograph gallery - Victoria, BC, Canada. Anyways, I hope to see them, they're only 20 minutes from victoria's center city. You'll have a good night!!! God richly bless you, I luv you all. ![]()

Hi Patty and Star. Hope you are having a good day.
Star I love your defination of FIND. Here is what I got from it. F- Finding Gods purpose in our life should be a goal for all Christians I believe. Sometimes if we don't stop and listen to what God is saying to us we will go in the wrong way that He has destined for us. So lets all stop and listen to God, we can never fail if we do that. I- When we begin to invest our own personal time with the Lord we will have a closer relationship with Him. Thats what God wants from us is our love and friendship. N- When we look toward God for guidance and direction we can never go wrong. When He has something for us to do you better believe He will be there to guide us through it no matter how hard it may be. When we seek Gods guidance and direction we know we are doing the right thing. D-When dividing the word of truth, I am not sure exactly what this means. I think it refers to the time line of the Bible and it world creation. Star let me know what tis means to you. God is so good to us all and I know that we here know that already, but for all the unsaved of our world I only wished they knew it to. I just wished everyone knew Gods love as I do. Wish I could do more to make that happen. I hate seeing our country and our world in the mess it is in now. Only if they would turn to know God. In the Bible God destroyed many cities and nations because of sin and unbleief and I don't want to see that happen to our country. I pray that the citizens of our country will open their hearts and pray and allow God to come back in as it was when our great nation was born. God Bless. Star I found this while I was looking up some study on "Dividing The Word Of Truth". Let me know what you think of it.
-------------------------------------- Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth - by C.I. Scofield The Seven Dispensations The Scriptures divide time (by which is meant the entire period from the creation of Adam to the "new heaven and a new earth" of Rev 21:1) into seven unequal periods, usually called dispensations (Eph 3:2), although these periods are also called ages (Eph 2:7) and days, as in "day of the Lord". These periods are marked off in Scripture by some change in God's method of dealing with mankind, or a portion of mankind, in respect of the two questions: [1] of sin, and [2] of man's responsibility. Each of the dispensations may be regarded as a new test of the natural man, and each ends in judgment, marking his utter failure in every dispensation. Five of these dispensations, or periods of time, have been fulfilled; we are living in the sixth, probably toward its close, and have before us the seventh, and last: the millenium. [NOTE (from the editor): The changing order, from one dispensation to the next, demonstrates again and again man's sinful condition and need for salvation. However, contrary to a common misunderstanding, the various dispensations do not represent differing ways of salvation. As the last column in the accompanying chart shows, personal salvation has always been by Grace through Faith. In all ages, the basis of salvation is the death of Christ. The means of access to salvation is faith. The object of faith is God. The content of faith depends on the revelation given to that time. The essential elements, running through all ages, are: (1) the substitutionary blood sacrifice, and (2) the promised Seed, the Savior.] 1. Man Innocent- This dispensation extends from the creation of Adam in Genesis 2:7 to the expulsion from Eden. Adam, created innocent and ignorant of good and evil, was placed in the garden of Eden with his wife, Eve, and put under responsibility to abstain from the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The dispensation of innocence resulted in the first failure of man, and in its far-reaching effects, the most disastrous. It closed in judgment: "So He drove out the man." See Gen 1:26, Gen 2:16,17, Gen 3:6, Gen 3:22-24. 2. Man under conscience- By the fall, Adam and Eve acquired and transmitted to the race the knowledge of good and evil. This gave conscience a basis for right moral judgment, and hence the race came under this measure of responsibility - to do good and eschew evil. The result of the dispensation of conscience, from Eden to the flood (while there was no institution of government and of law), was that "all flesh had corrupted his way on the earth", that "the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually", and God closed the second testing of the natural man with judgment: the flood. See Gen 3:7,22, Gen 6:5,11-12, Gen 7:11-12,23. 3. Man in authority over the earth- Out of the fearful judgment of the flood, God saved eight persons, to whom, after the waters were assuaged, He gave the purified earth with ample power to govern it. This, Noah and his descendants were responsible to do. The dispensation of human government resulted, upon the plain of Shinar, in the impious attempt to become independent of God, and closed in judgment: the confusion of tongues. See Gen 9:1,2, Gen 11:1-4, Gen 11:5-8. 4. Man under promise- Out of the dispersed decendants of the builders of Babel, God called one man, Abram, with whom He enters into covenant. Some of the promises to Abram and his descendants were purely gracious and unconditional. These either have been or will yet be literally fulfilled. Other promises were conditional upon the faithfulness and obedience of the Israelites. Every one of these conditions was violated, and the dispensation of promise resulted in the failure of Israel and closed in the judgment of bondage in Egypt. The book of Genesis, which opens with the sublime words, "In the beginning God created", closes with "in a coffin in Egypt". See Gen 12:1-3, Gen 13:14-17, Gen 15:5, Gen 26:3, Gen 28:12-13, Ex 1:13-14 5. Man under the law- Again the grace of God came to the help of helpless man and redeemed the chosen people out of the hand of the oppressor. In the wilderness of Sinai, He proposed to them the covenant of the law. Instead of humbly pleading for a continued relation of grace, they presumptuously answered: "All that the Lord hath spoken we will do." The history of Israel in the wilderness and in the land is one long record of flagrant, persistent violation of the law, and at last, after multiplied warnings, God closed the testing of man by law in judgment: first Israel, then Judah, were driven out of the land into a dispersion which still continues. A feeble remnant returned under Ezra and Nehemiah, of which, in due time, Christ came: "Born of a woman - made under the law." Both Jews and Gentiles conspired to crucify Him. See Ex 19:1-8, 2King 17:1-18, 2King 25:1-11, Act 2:22-23, Act 7:51-52, Rom 3:19-20, Rom 10:5, Gal 3:10. 6. Man under grace- The sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ introduced the dispensation of pure grace, which means undeserved favor, or God giving righteousness, instead of God requiring righteousness, as under the law. Salvation, perfect and eternal, is now freely offered to Jew and Gentile upon the acknowledgment of sin (ie., repentance), with faith in Christ. "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent." (Joh 6:29) "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life..." (Joh 6:47) "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth Him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life." (Joh 5:24, RV) "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish." (Joh 10:27-28) "For by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, that no man should glory." (Eph 2:8-9, RV) The predicted result of this testing of man under grace is judgment upon an unbelieving world and an apostate church. See Luke 17:26-30, Luke 18:8, 2The 2:7-12, Rev 3:15-16. The first event in the closing of this dispensation will be the descent of the Lord from heaven, when sleeping saints will be raised and, together with believers then living, caught up "to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (1The 4:16-17) Then follows the brief period called "the great tribulation". See Jer 30:5-7, Dan 12:1, Zeph 1:15-18, Mat 24:21-22. [Note (from the editor): Some teachers number the Tribulation as one of the dispensations, while combining the dispensations of Promise & Law. However, we see the Tribulation as a period of culmination, during which human civilization crumbles under the weight of the combined features of its ages long rejection of God. The Lord has limited this period to a short 7 years, to prevent man's self-destruction.] After this, the personal return of the Lord to earth in power and great glory occurs, and the judgments which introduce the seventh, and last dispensation. See Mat 25:31-46 and Mat 24:29-30. 7. Man under the personal reign of Christ- After the purifying judgments which attend the personal return of Christ to the earth, He will reign over restored Israel and over the earth for one thousand years. This is the period commonly called "the millenium". The seat of His power will be Jerusalem. The saints, including the saved of the dispensation of grace, namely the church, will be associated with Him in His glory. See Isa 2:1-4, Isa 11, Acts 15:14-17, Rev 19:11-21, Rev 20:1-6. But when Satan is "loosed for a little season", he finds the natural heart as prone to evil as ever, and easily gathers the nations to battle against the Lord and His saints. This last dispensation closes, like all the others, in judgment. The great white throne is set, the wicked dead are raised and finally judged. And then come the "new heaven and a new earth". Eternity is begun. See Rev 20:3,7-15, [2Pet 3:10-14], Rev 21 and 22. |

Hi Patty and Star. Wonder where Terri has been lately, miss her.
I have been trying to do some Biblical research on the time span between the old and new testaments. Do any of you know anything on this subject? When-ever I hear something that I want to learn more of I always research it on the net and try to learn more on the subject. I am a person who cannot get enough of learning new things no matter what the suject is. When I was a small child my father would always call me nosy because I was always asking questions and wanted to know "why".. But I do love studying the Bible. See you all alter. God Bless. A woman was asked by a co-worker, "Whats is it like to be a Christian?" The co-worker replied, "It is like being a pumpkin," God picks you from the patch, brings your in, and washes all the dirt off you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see. |

Hi girls.
I have a computer up and running for the time being. I hope it lasts a while. AS i do miss you all much when I go much time w/o checking in. My legs and knees are killing me this evening. I took DD to see a presidential candidate speak this morning and standing from 7am until 11am has gotten the best of me. I am glad I took her and would do it again, but man my legs are in pain. We just go in from church. It looks like if my dad gets home in time DH and I are going to be baptized on Sunday evening. I am terrified of water...can't swim a lick. So this is going to be a major thing for me in more ways than one. My cousin came forward and said she would like to be baptized too. So it should be nice, all three of us sharing such a wonderful experience. There is a photography student that wants to come and take pics to use in her portfolio and give us copies of the pics. I think it sounds like a nice way to have remberences of the day. I am off to take some meds and try to get some rest in hopes that I can walk tomorrow. Hope everyone has had a blessed day! |

Terri prayers for you today that God will heal you and that you will be pain free, in the name of Jesus, Amen...
I had a terrible night last night... I just couldn't got to sleep. It was after 1:00 when I finally drifted off, so I am kind of walking in a slow state today, but I know that God will give me energy to do what needs to be done... Have a very blessed Day girls... |

Man am I late. Been running around with the family all day or at least it feels like it.
![]() The baptism is set for tomorrow at 6:15pm. Weird time, but I have to make sure my Daddy can be there. I am anxious yet excited about it. I trust that the Lord will not let me drown but the human part of me is still worried. DH says we'll go out far enough that the water will be high so all I have to do is lean back a little. Plus he his going to walk out with me, he's my lifeguard of sorts. This evening I saw some pics that DD has taken of me the past few weeks. I find myself totally appaulled. I am not sure what I have become. I don't even recognize the person that I see. It is time to get things in order and loose some weight. I cannot believe the way I look. I pray that the Lord gives me the strength I need to lose weight and live a better life. Thanks for the Patty. It means a lot!Hope everyone is well. |

Terri Sweetie, you know what???? You are a beautiful lady and God Made You very Unique, so Darling, Love Yourself For Who You Are...
I will be with you during your Baptism in Spirit and honey you don't have to worry. They just lay you back and hold onto you the whole time, at least that is what the pastor did when I was saved and Baptized at the age of 9... It is such a wonderful experience, so you just put your trust in God, and everything will be fine... |

Happy Sunday all!! I hope the Lord has blessed you all this wonderful day.
Our pastor was aggrevating me this morning about "throwing " me in the water. I told him my water fears so he sure is giving me a ribbing about it. I know everything will be fine. I have trust and most importantly FAITH. i think that is why his giving me the business, trying to make me forget the fear. I will be fine. I know I will. We were told that we are having a picnic dinner before hand so that was a bit of a surprise. We had told family/friends that it wouldn't be until around 6pm so now we have to tell everyone things will start about an hour earlier. i do wish someone would've called us. But that is neither her nor there I guess. ~Tammy~happy Thanksgiving! I am sure your centinial celebration was joyous! You will have to give us all the details later. And thank you for the words of encouragement, ~PAtty~Thank you for your kinds words too. i feel so lucky that God helped me find you all. i have been a member of LCF for years and just never thought to come here. The Lord sent me this dirtection I am sure of it! I will think of you girls this evening, along with my Grandparents that will be praising God from heaven that I have finally opened my eyes and will join them again someday! |
