Patty are you still cleaning house?
I was just sitting here at my desk and looking at it and telling myself I sure do need to clean it off and I think I will later this afternoon. Patty you got me in the cleaning mood now. Just hope I can hold up to doing it.

Diana, I am feeling better today and am up and about some. Went outside and sat on the patio in the sun for awhile, that always seems to make me feel better.

Star I love to see the sun rise to, that time of morning makes you feel a goodness in your soul.
No leaves turning colors yet for us here, still hot here and everything is still all green and flowers all blooming still.

Terri, where are you today, thinking of you.

Morning Ladies, Happy October 1st!!!

Diana, where are you dear? Luv ya!!!

I'm feeling better and starting to get back on track with my eating. Lost a few pounds and cutting back on bad carbs. Praise Jesus!!! Have a short week this week. Only a half day on friday, 'cause I've got a doc's appointment in the afternoon. Things are better at work too, not so much tension and praying about it really helps keep things in order. I've found that when I changed my attitude toward others, and blessed them that they changed around me too. God's presence draws others to you, when you let Him take over your life and circumstances. And I think God was trying to change me from the inside and teach me something about dealing with others in general. God is good!!!

Hi Godsbeloved, Patty, Mary, Terri and all those I missed!!!

Hi Tammy... I have been busy this morning hanging my fancy curtains on my 2 windows in the kitchen. I had them put up, so I had to iron them first...

It's a beautiful cool morning here in La. Just so much beauty on the lake that it makes you closer to God and all his wondrous works...

I am still doing a lot in the house and will start playing Golf with Henry soon again now that it has cooled off some... He is out playing Golf with one of his friends at a Golf Course that he hasn't played before. Should be lots of fun...

Enjoy the day girls and thank God for the little things that are in our lives...

Hi Patty, I didn't know you lived off of a lake? It must be just breath taking looking out over the water there in Lousiana. Sounds like you've been busy decorating your house and I love fancy curtains when they're hanging in the kitchen window. You and your DH are blessed to be able to play Golf and enjoy the outdoors. Yes, I'm enjoying the sunrises in the cool mornings here on the west coast of BC, and we've been having a lot of hot weather this past week, but tomorrow is supposed to be rainy. It rains here mostly of the time for a good 3 weeks and I laugh when we come here and complain about it, because when it's sunny it's beautiful here with the coastal mountains showing hues of blue and purple. October is the month of autumn here and the leaves are already starting to turn orange, red and yellow. My favorite fall day is when it's windy and I hear the leaves rustle in the trees. And the leaves are falling down to the ground. Ya, I've always loved the fall. When you pick up a leaf and look at it, it has it's own style and not one is the same. They are quite beautiful indeed.

Good Morning Tammy... Yes, I love to see the leaves fall and our house are surrounded by many majestic trees. We have a lot of oak trees with the Spanish Moss hanging off of them, Pines and all kinds of other trees. Yes Dear, we live right on the lake and we are blessed so much to be here.

Patty the lake sounds so nice where you live. I love the ocean and rivers here.
We only live a block off the bay . Sometimes my hubby will take me down there and we sit on the benches and look out over the bay. There is a big bridge right near and its so pretty to look at. Sometime we walk the waters edge and just see what we can find. After the hurricanes I found some neat pieces of drift wood and sticks I use for my crafts. People also go there to fish but we have never done that yet but I sure want to one day.

Well its gotton down in the middle 80's here now, cool for us so thats our fall. everything is still green here to and hing is sheding its leaves yet. The only way I can tell if its Fall is when I put out my fall decorations in the front yard. I have a big scarecrow and I sit him on the bench underneath the tree with some pumkins around him.
This heat will make you think its still summer here. But I am use to the heat so it does not bother me at all.

My legs are feeling better today, they bothered me all day yesterday that I could barely walk. I don't think it was my arthritis but the muscles in them instead. I felt like the muscle in my right leg had been ripped out. Its still really sore but i am trying to walk on it some in spite of the pain in it.

Mary do you try to do any exercise for your arthritis??? I know Dr's say that it helps. Even just sitting in your chair and raising your legs up and down, will strengthen your muscles... I sure hate that you are in so much pain. Do you have the Rheumatoid Arthritis?? That is what my Mother had...

Patty I do exercises everyday for my arthritis. Most the time I do water aerobics and exercises in our swimming pool and I also have some chair exercises I do while sitting down, so I am exercising. Also have gone to rehab to. Its my knees right now that are the worse and make it hard for me to walk. I will probably have to have knee replacements in them soon I think. But if I do it will be months and months of rehab with them so I can walk and I am not lloking toward that at all, but I might have to, I may have no choice.
I hurt everyday with all my arthritis but my knees hurt worse and sometimes my right hip to. But I manage to go from day to day with the Lords help, I try not to complain to much. I am just like old JOB in the Bible, No matter how much I suffer with it I will not lose my faith that one day I will get better. If not here on earth it will be in Heaven.

Diana and Terri, miss you. Guess you have been busy so when you get time please come back and poost with us.

Happy Friday girls!

I have been MIA because I have been under the weather. I have had it off and on for a couple of weeks now, but the past few days it has had the best of me. I had stomach craps that felt like someone tying my stomach in knots. I slept through most of yesterday. DD came home early from school today with the same thing. It must be a bug.

I am waiting for DH to call. We were supposed to go camping this weekend but changed our mind because DD was sick, but she is feeling better and I really think I want to go now. I have a load of clothes in the washer in hopes that he says we should go. I think it will get rid of much of my stress spending a few days on the water. I really want to go catfishing for some reason.

I thin a few stress free days would be good for all of us.

We have to go buy truck tags in the morning and we have a little festival to go to. We always buy our pumpkins there for Halloween. They have huge pumpkins for just a few dollars normally. I don't know if the economy will effect the prices or not. I like getting a bunch so I guess we'll see how many we can afford this year.

I am not sure that I am going to go to church this evening. I really think that some time in nature is what I need. I am not really thrilled with my cousin and don't particularly want to spend the evening listening to her. I am unsure how someone who claims to be so faithful can be such a story teller. I guess lying to me isn't a lie in her eyes. I am not going to hold onto my anger with her. The lord will help me forgive her I know.

Well, I have a few things to do before getting packed to go. Yes, I just deceided on my own that we are going. HaHa. I also need to run up the street and buy some wood bundles. If you don't hear from me for a couple days, no worries. I am just chillin' in the woods relaxing for a few days!

Terri Honey, I am so glad that you posted. Baby, God will help you with those feelings and Honey, let him deal with her... You will find such peace, if you let it go. I had been dealing with some of this myself a couple of months ago and God told me to give it to him and he would deal with it. You just don't know what peace I have now. Just Love her as God told us to do, and let him deal with the other...

I hope you get to camping... Henry and I use to camp a lot when our kids were small and now we live on the lake... The water is right in front of our living room windows and we see God so much in this beautiful place that we live at...

Hi Ladies,

This morning I went to the biomedical lab and got some blood work done. I'm happy that a doctor at our walkin clinic is willing to help me. She is an excellent doctor and said that if I wanted addition blood work done [to see if I have thypothyroid, T4,T3 and reverse T3 levels], that I would have to pay for it. I said that's okay. She smiled and wrote all this down in my medical report. Praise God!!! The bio lab is just up the street and I'm happy that I'm finally getting the treatment I need. My blood pressure is up a bit, and needs attending to, but I'm finally taking action to get the medical help I need to get well again. Praise Jesus!!!

Good Morning Star... I am so glad that you are getting the help that you need. Be sure to let us know about your results, and you do need to have all of the blood work done, because just the blood test may show that you are normal when you are not. You can even be in the low range of normal and not feel well. Anyway, if you want to be completely accurate then you need to have the rest of the blood work done...

I have been MIA because I have been under the weather. I have had it off and on for a couple of weeks now, but the past few days it has had the best of me. I had stomach craps that felt like someone tying my stomach in knots. I slept through most of yesterday. DD came home early from school today with the same thing. It must be a bug. I am waiting for DH to call. We were supposed to go camping this weekend but changed our mind because DD was sick, but she is feeling better and I really think I want to go now. I have a load of clothes in the washer in hopes that he says we should go. I think it will get rid of much of my stress spending a few days on the water. I really want to go catfishing for some reason. I thin a few stress free days would be good for all of us. We have to go buy truck tags in the morning and we have a little festival to go to. We always buy our pumpkins there for Halloween. They have huge pumpkins for just a few dollars normally. I don't know if the economy will effect the prices or not. I like getting a bunch so I guess we'll see how many we can afford this year. I am not sure that I am going to go to church this evening. I really think that some time in nature is what I need. I am not really thrilled with my cousin and don't particularly want to spend the evening listening to her. I am unsure how someone who claims to be so faithful can be such a story teller. I guess lying to me isn't a lie in her eyes. I am not going to hold onto my anger with her. The lord will help me forgive her I know. Well, I have a few things to do before getting packed to go. Yes, I just deceided on my own that we are going. HaHa. I also need to run up the street and buy some wood bundles. If you don't hear from me for a couple days, no worries. I am just chillin' in the woods relaxing for a few days! Tammy~I hope your dr apointment went well. You will find such peace, if you let it go. I had been dealing with some of this myself a couple of months ago and God told me to give it to him and he would deal with it. You just don't know what peace I have now. Just Love her as God told us to do, and let him deal with the other... I hope you get to camping... Henry and I use to camp a lot when our kids were small and now we live on the lake... The water is right in front of our living room windows and we see God so much in this beautiful place that we live at... Take good care, and pray for all of you to be well.

I'm happy that a doctor at our walkin clinic is willing to help me. She is an excellent doctor and said that if I wanted addition blood work done [to see if I have thypothyroid, T4,T3 and reverse T3 levels], that I would have to pay for it. I said that's okay. She smiled and wrote all this down in my medical report. Praise God!!! The bio lab is just up the street and I'm happy that I'm finally getting the treatment I need. My blood pressure is up a bit, and needs attending to, but I'm finally taking action to get the medical help I need to get well again. Praise Jesus!!! rayer: Hi Godsbeloved, Patty, Mary, Terri!!! Be sure to let us know about your results, and you do need to have all of the blood work done, because just the blood test may show that you are normal when you are not. You can even be in the low range of normal and not feel well. Anyway, if you want to be completely accurate then you need to have the rest of the blood work done... All of you enjoy your Day, that the Lord Hath Made !!!
