Introducing kids to Christianity

I've always been a believer, but have absolutely no church experience. I want to introduce ds (7), but don't know where to start. We are currently going to a multi-cultural spiritual center, and I like that he is learning a little bit about everything, but I want him to learn more about the Bible. I'm not ready to attend a "regular" church yet. (baby steps...)

Anyways, can any of you recommend a good book or DVD series that might be kind of Sunday-schoolish? I hope I'm making sense.

Thanks!

You might be able to do a sear on the net, there are children bible version on tape. That may be one option. Or hard cover children bibles with pictures.

Check out if there is an Awana program in your area. It is fabulous for kids!! You don't have to belong to a church to send him there. Our church has one and the kids love it!!!
It is usually held at night 6:30 to 8:00 during the week or Sunday evenings. Sign him up next year.

My family did not go to church when I was young, but my mom had a bible story book with wonderful pictures and read us a story every night. May that is something you could do with your son.
I like the Hermie DVD series by Max Lacado. The Beginner Bible has DVD's The only one I have seen is the Easter one but I liked it very much.
