Confession and then good byes

I use these forums as a way to escape the issues I deal with in life. Or maybe it's better to say that I come here to escape the issues I don't deal with in life.

Something has recently happened to make me evaluate my decisions in life and stop pretending that everything is ok.

My fiance passed away last spring. I haven't been able to deal with it emotionally and being that the world of internet can't see into my living room it's been really easy to keep up the facade. I'm sorry. I have created almost a fake world online where he is still here with me and it's hard to pull away from.

I have another issue at hand that is making me terribly distraught. I need to take hiatus from the boards, maybe permanantly, to work on myself and not hide my emotions in weightloss and exercise.

I want to thank you all for the support you've given me over the last 2 and a half years. it's been wonderful

I wish you all continued success on your weight loss, health and other journeys of well being.

I lost my son and know grief can do horrible things to a person, esp. if you are having a hard time accepting it. Be careful not to isolate yourself. I'm sorry hon, it's the worst thing that can happen to you and it won't be so raw after a while.

You might want to post somethign in the playground - people there have been really closely following your stories about you and Sam, the engagement ring and wedding planning, the calls from Iraq, and all of that.

I'm sure they'd like to know - they're really a supportive bunch of people.

I am so sorry that you have had to deal with this. LCF is not just about eating and weight loss-- this is a safe haven for so many personal things that we deal with. We're here for you if you need us

I hope you take care of yourself, and I hope sometime you come back. You might not even realize it, but you're famous at LCF. You're beautiful and kind and we all wish you the best.

It's been like writing a book. Every story I've ever told of him is true, just not of the moment. I like to tell the stories of us and It feels comforting to have others talk about him as being such a wonderful person because he was. In my *real* life everyone avoids the issue fully. I like to talk about him and maybe I'm losing it. I haven't dated really, I don't go out, have zero social life, have lost 2 jobs and most of my friends.
