10.) Most of all, I want to be thin and healthy. I have been overweight all of my life and being thin always seemed like an unreachable dream. I want to feel good about myself which brings confidence in other areas of my life. I want to feel like a "normal" person and not the heaviest person in the room. I'm slowly getting there and it's taking much more mental changing than physical I think.

5.) We recently remodeled our home to a four bedroom, and put a pool in the backyard.

7.) There are a lot of girls in my home...me, three daughters, and the dog. Poor dh is the only one with a goodly amount of testosterone.

I'm a California borne and bred girl...grew up in the Central Valley, live in No Cal, love the California beaches (both the cold northern and warm southern) California cities (especially bay area) and California mountains...I'm in love with my state and if I have anything to do with it I'll never leave.

9.) I'm an RN; I worked for 11 years but I currently don't practice. Currently, I'm quite happy about that. Long term, I'm not so sure.

10.) I just discovered biking for transportation, short distances, and it is more freeing than I thought it would be.

I have come to embrace my figure, but I've formed the conclusion that I'll need longer arms. When I was a goth we had to walk uphill, both ways, while wearing elf shoes, just to buy my Bauhaus albums; not like these little emo people today with their fancy bus passes. No, I've never sporked someone's lawn. Yes, but when I was drinking I really thought sparklers really toasted the marshmallows. I like my eyes. They help me to see where I've been. So, someone told me I was funny the other day; then she handed me her therapist's card. I think about a lot of things because t I have a busy mind, and also because it's cheaper than cable. I am addicted to caffeine and have been known to do lines of cans of Diet Coke per day. I started Atkins for the first time about the time when everyone was Wang Chunging tonight. I was born in the hospital to be near my mom. I dream in color. I've woken myself up laughing before. My kids are all named after parts of speech and form a complete sentence when put together. In the McDoogals of the universe, God loved me so much, He had me super-sized; he made the skinny people the chicken mcnoogies. All of the other parolees say I'm a hit at parties. I was raised by a Jew and a 7th day adventist; I had double the guilt, but extra gifts at Hanukkah and Christmas. Bento is a new hobby of mine. I'm addicted to office supplies. I love the smell of permanent markers. I am humble, and proud of it. Even though I usually wait until the last minute, I finish what I start. Once I switched my toothpaste with the Preparation H; my lips puckered, but my rear had that oh-so-minty feeling. Tingly.

2: I have major anxiety issues. Not diagnosed by a Dr., Im scared to talk with her about it. I may have to, My studying for classes is being effected. I cannot concentrate, focus or remember.

3: I have a dear little (17 lb) black cat, he's actually a monster. He's the only kitty I've ever owned that LIKES being hugged like a teddy at night and will sleep with me for hours.

4: I am quite possible addicted to nuts of any kind

5: I had gastric bypass surgery in 2001. I weighed 272 lbs, I lost down to 160's...Here I am at 208.

6: Since my gastric bypass surgery I cannot drink milk. It kills me!

7: I NEVER, EVER wear sleeveless shirts. I have ginormous, disgusting arms.

8: I wear a 37" inseam jean.

SG ~ You and I sould very similar! My 12 year old daughter is 5'8" and my 14 year old son is closing in on 6'3"! I also suffer from anxiety as well! I wish you luck getting control over it, as it really can consume you when it is untreated.

With all that going on I'd say you work VERY hard!

1. I am constantly amazed that my two daughters are pleasant, funny, compassionate people. I also thank God for that every day.

2. I am a middle school Language Arts teacher (eighth grade) and I absolutely LOVE my job.

3. I worry every day that my mom and/or dad will pass away. I know - inevitable but scary, nonetheless.

4. I used to read a novel every 2 - 3 days but now I rarely get the time. I do like Time magazine, though. It's educational with a left-wing bent.

5, I CAN sing and used to be in a rock band (pre hubby and kids). It was fun but I wouldn't want to do it for a living - singing the same songs all the time.

- I have two kids that are exactly one year apart (oops!). They will be 2 and 1 at the end of the month.

- I am fluent in American Sign Language and I am hard of hearing.

- I am a vocational rehabilitation counselor- I help people with disabilities rehabilitate to obtain employment.

- I've had an eating disorder forever (feels like it anyway). I've been eating "clean" for a few months now.

I've traveled a bit around the world but, in the U.S., I've never been West of the Mississippi. I hope to remedy that soon!

I love to read...to the point of compulsion. If I read my last book and don't have another one I feel a little panicky. I have to continually stock up to make sure I never run out of reading material. Magazines will do in a pinch..also the back of toothpaste tubes and shampoo bottles.

I pay for about 75 cable TV channels but I only watch one: HGTV

I am messy and disorganized and I'm jealous of those compulsively neat people who won't go to bed until the house is spotless. I don't even notice the mess until I have company.

I love the outdoors. My favorite color is green, as in grass, trees, flowers. I hate the winter, which only offers white and gray in New England.

In my retirement I want to live in a little cabin in the woods, somewhere in the mountains and in close proximity to a library and a Barnes and Noble.
