Diana I believe there is a mate for everyone. I even prayed this prayer before I Married Henry, that if, he wasn't the one that God intended for me to Marry that he would stop it. I think some of us have many boy friends sometimes before we find the right one. There were 4 guys that I dated before I met Henry. One of them I dated for a year and a-half. He had a Corvette and I liked his car. I really liked this guy but there wasn't any chemistry there and he broke up with me just before Christmas that year and I prayed that God would send me someone to Love, and I met Henry the next April and we were Married the following August. I fell instantly in Love with him the first night that we met. We will be Married 43 years this August 14th...

godsbeloved Honey when you report in, would you start us a new Sista's In Christ Thread? This one is getting pretty long and sometimes my computer is slow in bringing this up, because it is long. Thanks... I have dial-up and it is really slow...

I believe God wants us with the right person too. His word say's it.

I was given prophecies about the person I was going to marry before I met John. Although I do not get into the whole prophectic thing anymore, I met John where I used to work at. . he worked at the same place too.

He was the first guy I went out with and when I saw him, I knew he was the one.

I'm sure that was the Lord comfirming it to me. But, he was not saved at the time. The thing I knew about him and what I cared about at the time was that he had a great relationship with his mom and dad, and also his brothers.
He was close to them. So I knew that he would be easy to be with. I truly believe in my situation, this is how the Lord worked it out for me. After we got married, I shared with him my faith and he became a Believer.

That's what I'm trying to convey to Whitney.

I guess you never know, unless we walk by faith and trust God.
