Sometimes we get so busy with our lives that we forget what God has done for us and will do for us if we only stop and ask Him for it.
Our world today is a busy one but just stop every now and then to talk to God and let Him know how much you love Him and want to do His will.
God has called each one of us to do something different in our lives, we are not all called to do the same thing. If that was so our world would be a boring place to live. God knows what talents He has given to each of us and its up to us to use them wisely and for His good and not own.
Pray daily and just talk to God about anything, He will always listen to every word you say to Him. He loves your company and He loves you.

Hi Mary,

How's are you doing? where is everyone? Oh, I just remember that momma patty is on vacation. Hope she's feeling okay. I'm so excited about tomorrow. Where I work we had filled an order for a company right next door to us and had installed some beautiful shades. To show their appeciation for our hard work they invited us to a barbeque at noon tomorrow. With hot dogs and hamburgers!!! That so nice of them isn't it. LOL.

It's been a damp June month and that's really unusual for us on the south coast. Usually it's a hot time of year but I can't handle the heat anymore so that's a blessing. We've been having a few sunny days and I've been appreciating them as much as I can. My brother's daughter Brittany [my niece who has chron's disease] went with her dad to Tiawana, Mexico today which is just across the border and got a special treatment for her disease. Apparently the doctors there have a new treatment for chron's that kill the bacteria in the intestine. Some people have already reported a improvement in their health from getting the new treatment done. It involves using very tiny miscoscopic worms which are placed inside the patient's intestine and eat up the bad bacteria. Once they have done their job the patient takes a couple of pills and the worms die instantly.

We're hoping and praying that this treatment will work and give her relief from this terrible disease. Ladies please pray that God will intervene on Brit's behalf and heal her in the mighty name of Jesus amen. God is able and sometimes He uses medicine and medical procedures to heal his children.

Oh, remember when I mentioned about inquiring about eye surgery? Well I have free consultation with clear lasik in burnaby, B.C. on the 23rd of June at 10:30am. I will under go eye testing to see if I qualify for the surgery [which involves measuring and thickness of the cornea, dilation and seeing if I might have glaucoma. Many patients that go for the testing may have glaucoma so its just a precaution and I don't think I have it.] Then I will talk to a counsellor about affordability payment plans and to answer any questions I might have for the procedure.

Ladies,

How is everyone? I had a pretty good day and the barbaque went really well. Even the sun came out of the clouds for the event. God must be shinning on me!!! I had 2 hot dogs and a small ice cream cone, and didn't have anything until later when I caught the early show at the local theature. I went to see the latest movie, Indiana Jones and loved every minute of it. Henry Ford did pretty good for being 65 and all. I have always liked this actor and it was good for me to get out for a change.

Justing venting here... [Man, I don't know what it is but my mom always getts mad at me everytime I buy something. I used to have a spending problem, but God has helped me get through it and my boss suggested that I get some good running shoes with netting so that my feet will breathe. When she saw the shoes she was furious, [I could see it in her face]and had to mention that she used to have leather ones and didn't have a problem with them. I don't know, I'm being careful with my money and even faithful at paying my bills and tithing at church. I guess what it is is that when I come home I turn off the main light in the living room when it's dark outside, because my eyes are sensitive to the light and have been for years. I can't help it, but she getts so mad at me and says I don't let her do anything. I put another light on in the corner of the room where the computer is and I guess she doesn't like it.

Venting again... [Man, it's 10 pm and I've been up since 6 am and I'm tired. My eyes just can't handle that bright light in the livingroom. She thinks I'm being inconsiderate because it's friday night. I guess, she's just furious at me. She says I don't let her do anything and feels sorry for herself. It's like she's a child and I'm the parent. Man, I sleep in the dinning room because I don't have a bedroom of my own and I'm tired, want to read and wind down, and then go to bed. She has a the whole day, and a whole room and television to herself and she thinks I'm being mean to her. What gives???

[it could be that before I moved in with her she was used to living on her own and when I came along, she had a real hard time adjusting to me being there, but I had no where else to go and I have helped with expenses since living with her. But it hard because it's my mom and it's not my place. You know what I mean? Ya!!! [Unfortunately, it's been 6 years and it's taken that long for me to get over post traumadic stress disorder that developed after I left my ex and moved in with mom. God bless her for putting up with me all these years. I guess, it's been really hard on her and I'm sorry for that. But, I did go back to God and the church, and my life is way better then it was 6 years ago. God used her to help me get to where I am today and for that I'm thankful.]

Maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture. She is 75 yrs old and I understand that it's her place and too small for the two of us. Now that I've got a good job and a recent raise, [I've been waiting for the right time to get my own place and I guess now's the time, but I'm afraid to make the move, you know? Am I being selfish? Please let me know, okay?

It's always good to get another opinion from those of you who care. I know God has his hand on me and will help me get there, I just have to pray and make the right moves with his guidance. Please Ladies pray that everything will work out for me. I know it will, I just have to give it all to Him, amen.

Just one more thing I wanted to mention, I'm glad I vented tonight. This way I won't get depressed, feel guilty and binge over it. Thanks for listening.

It seems like the Lord is preparing you to be able to get your own place. You got a good job, then He blessed you with a raise, and I'm sure there will be more raises to come!
Think of it that way. Now just believe that He will open up a place for you to live that is affordable and perfect for you, where you are close to your moms house in case.

Look around and see what's available and when you find the right place, Gods peace will be with you on that!!

You'll be so happy!!!!

Diane, gorgeous I am not, I am a old lady of 62 years. I have to color my hair to cover the grey, I have arthritis, I am a grand mother, and make-up covers the wrinkles on my face, I have all the things that come with ageing, even the aches and pains.

Hope everyone is doing good these days. I am eating better than I was so I can lose this weight and maybe it will help my old arthritic knees.
I had a good talk with my hubby about bringing home fast food so much. I cannot stand up to do alot of cooking anymore so he does most of it or brings us something home to eat when he gets off work.

God, I thought...I don't have time for you today...

Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is.... Exactly, what has caused lot of the problems in our world today.

We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning...Maybe, Sunday night...

And, the unlikely event of a midweek service.

We do like to have Him around during sickness....And, of course, at funerals.

However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play...

Because.. That's the part of our lives we think... We can, and should, handle on our own.

May God forgive me for ever thinking that...

There is a time or place where.. HE is to be FIRST in my life. We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.
Jesus said, 'If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.' I do love God and am not ashame of Him.

Great things He has done for me.Yes, I do Love God. HE is my source of existence and Savior.He keeps me functioning
each and every day.

Without Him, I will be nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)

Why is it so hard to tell the truth but Yet so easy to tell a lie?Why are we so sleepy in church but Right when the sermon is over we suddenly wake up?

Of all the free gifts we may receive, Prayer is the very best one....There are no costs, but wonderful rewards... GOD BLESS!

Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.

Isn't it funny how someone can say 'I believe in God' but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also 'believes' in God).

Yeah, I've seen it and was always suspicious about Oprah and her belief's. She never really mentioned them and many thought she was a christian. I guess, that how she got people 'hooked'. It's sad that she's decieving christians, but I think these christians aren't 'grounded' in their beliefs. I know of one women that comes to our church off and on. When we had our garage sale at the church, she was so excited about her positive thinking and had to tell me about being 'enlightened'. I knew right away that she was into the new age movement and told her that you have to watch out for cults. Her mother is a strong christian who goes to my church too and told her, yeah, but it's new age!!! she shrugged it off. I think she's one of Oprah's followers and I'm praying for her. Oh, I also prayed that Oprah would fall from 'grace' too, LOL. I don't like her anymore because she is so against Jesus Christ. That was her first and traggic mistake!!! She going to have to answer one day before God. God help her!!!

Mary, I hope you're not in alot of pain my friend. I know I don't experience what you got through, but get a 'charlie horse' up the back of my leg right up my bee-hind every so often, [from being born with a shorter left leg,which is nasty to say the least. But, I've learned to tolerate it until the cramp passes. It's just something I have to live with.

Hi Wonderful, Sweet, Beautiful Sisters...

We are home. We got in around 7:30 last night.

We had a wonderful trip and it was so worth seeing our Auntie Edith turn 95.

She is just so beautiful and she is still quilting. She made all of her nieces quilts and I didn't get one yet because Henry is her Nephew, but she says all of the Nephews will get one too.

I have a zillion things to do today, so I best get started. I'll write more later.

On that thing with Oprah, she has own church, and preaching a totally different gospel that is in error!
She denies everything that our Lord did for us. It's awful and what's worse is, she is taking people down with her!

I never like watching Oprah. I pray that she will turn away from that and see the truth, but I don't like watching her shows. She too big in the sight of her own eyes!!

So that's kind of it in a nut shell.

Welcome back MP!!! to you!!! I'm so glad you had a wonderful trip and celebrated your auntie's 95 birthday. She sounds like such a beautiful person, making quilts for everyone is amazing and alot of hard work especially at her great age. How wonderful!!!

Diana is right is saying that Oprah has her own church and followers. Many people, even christian, are falling for this new age teaching. Oprah was brought up in a baptist church and knows about Christ. One day in church she heard the preach say that God is a 'jealous' God. She thought that meant that God was jealous of her and she used that excuse to leave the christian faith and reject Jesus Christ. How foolish!!! She wasn't grounded and sought other counsel, which turned out to be a guru [his name is Eckhart Tolle] who teachs new age and has written a recent book called, "A New Earth" which has sold millions of copies world wide.

This 'cultic church' is becoming a world wide movement and many are becoming as they call it, 'enlightened', which is one of their teachings. They believe that they [their minds] are 'part of God' and that that is truly their 'salvation'. They totally reject Jesus Christ as the messiah and savior of the world. The teachings of Christ and the cross to them is 'that they have overcome the cross'. They believe that any path(s) is the way to heaven and reject Jesus Christ as the only way. How tragic!!!

We are so blessed to know the truth, 'the only way' that truly sets up free!!! amen.

Oprah Begins 10-Week Online New Age Class

This past Monday Oprah Winfrey, considered by many to be the world's most influential woman, began a ten-week long online course on the best-selling book, "A New Earth," by New Age guru, Eckhart Tolle. "A New Earth" has already sold some 3.5 million copies worldwide, thanks largely to the publicity given to it by Oprah. According to Oprah, 500,000 people from across the world signed on to the first segment of the online course, to spend an hour and a half listening to Ekhart and Oprah talking about chapter 1 of the book, and taking calls from participants.

In recent years Oprah has been inviting an increasing number of representatives of new age spirituality onto her talk shows, including figures such as Marianne Williamson, Barbara DeAngelis, LaVar Burton, Richard Carlson, Betty Eadie, and many others. Oprah has strongly endorsed many of their works, and has included some of them in her "Book Club" list.

Since the beginning of this year Oprah has offered daily classes on her XM radio station on the book "A Course in Miracles." "A Course in Miracles" (or ACIM for short) was written by another major player in the New Age movement, Helen Schucman, who claims that the book was dictated to her by an interior voice, which she identifies with Jesus Christ. In that course, the listener is taught that there is no sin, is told not to make the "mistake" of "clinging to the old rugged cross," and that the name of "Jesus Christ as such is but a symbol."

Oprah, who is a self-labeled "Christian", was recently named the "most dangerous woman in the world" by Bill Keller, considered by some to be the world's leading Internet evangelist. He accused Oprah of peddling the equivalent of "spiritual crack." Keller has been warning the subscribers of his Daily Devotional for years about Oprah and how she uses her TV program to promote every New Age philosophy in the world, including the wildly popular book and DVD last year, "The Secret," which teaches readers or viewers that simply by desiring them strongly enough, one may obtain wealth, health and happiness.


However, rarely has Oprah shown more enthusiasm for a New Age guru than for the so-called Eckhart Tolle, who takes his first name from the well-known 13th century Catholic Rhineland mystic, Meister Eckhart. Tolle is the author of several books including "The Power of Now," and, most recently, "A New Earth."


Much like many other New Age systems, Eckhart's "spirituality" is a vague, ethereal blend of spiritual theories and ideas, gleaned from all of the world's major religions. Eckhart promises the attainment of "inner peace" and a higher state of consciousness by utilizing methods of meditation that plunge one into the "now." He also says that mankind is in a moment of crisis, in which the race must either achieve the next stage in its evolution by attaining "higher consciousness", or destroy itself and the planet.


The title of his newest book, "A New Earth," is taken from Chapter 21 from the Book of Revelations, in which the Biblical visionary says that he "saw a new heaven and a new earth.&
