Nice you didn't have to get your glasses changed. I have to wear mine to when I drive because I cannot see a thing without them. The only time my glasses come off is when I shower and sleep. I am blind as a bat without them.

Hi Mary, I've been wearing glasses since I was ten. I know of a couple of aquaintances of mine in church, who've had laser eye surgery and love the results. I'm looking into it and doing some research on the subject. I was also looking at a website a londoneyeplace. com, was have submitted for a free consultation online. There is also a place near by where I live. They used 2 techniques for doing eye surgery. One is slicing the cornea with high tech laser and the other is using cold fusion laser, which doesn't touch the eye at all, but shapes the cornea. It does hurt to find out and it's even affordable now. Anyways, I thought I'd just post this for curiousity sake. LOL.

Hope everyone is doing okay and I'm wishing you'll a great day. I'm enjoying my time off this long may weekend. It's like summer here on the south coast of B.C. and it's a nice change from the rainy weather I usually have here. I have a feeling that we're going to have a very hot summer this year.

Star Henry's x-niece had that surgery done and she can see perfect and he knows some other guys that have had that done, too, with great success. Something to think about.

Girls pray with me that this stinken' weight gets down. I am not eating that much and should be losing, so I am beside myself this morning. I really don't know what to do and it is getting to me bad. I ate my RM ( Reward Meal) at noon yesterday and I am down .4 lbs today, so I am going to try that again today. I hope that I get to the point that I don't want to eat at night, and by eating at noon, I have the chance of burning the calories before bedtime.

Hi Ladies,

It's monday afternoon and I'm enjoying my time off. Next week will be a short week and I'm looking forward to it. My eating went well today. My mom and I went out to for breakfast together at Ricky's which was very nice and I ate until I was full, and not over stuffed. Praise Jesus!!! he has his hand on me and my eating is getting better each day. Thanks to God helping me while I'm praying for him to take control of my addiction.

Last night we went to sunday night prayer service and we were blessed. We sang songs and hymns, and then prayed in small groups for our church, for the sale of our new pastors house in Nova Scotia [which needs to be sold, so that he and his family can buy a place here in B.C. near the church], and for our community, and those that are sick and struggling with cancer. We felt the presence of God there and believe that He heard our prayers and has answered them in Jesus's mighty name, the name above all names who can do the impossible.

Thank you Jesus that you are able to complete the work that you have started. Restoring us and renewing us in the faith, amen.

Morning Ladies,

Mamma Patty, thanks for the compliment.

I'm having my morning decaf and just getting ready to leave for work. It's a short week for me and so the week will fly by. This morning before I got up I heard thunder showers and was listening to the news. They said that there are some power outages, but that they will be restore within 24 hours. I'm thankful that I'm safe, have a roof over my head and have Jesus in my heart.

Without him I'm lost and without hope. But, with Him we have hope and the assurance that He will take care of his children in any crisis, in any siduation. He guards us with are guardian angels and shows his love and mercy to those who trust and believe in Him name.

You know, you have to watch what you buy or get into these days. I almost bought a hypnosis CD's for weightloss, but my mother warned me that it's a doorway to letting the enemy. Even subtle things like reading your horrescope is dangerous. We as christian, if we are not grounded in the word of God can get swept up in these occultish and new age beliefs without even knowing it. So I am just warning you all to watch, be careful and use your disernment in the Lord to filter out all of these things that are not of God. Because the bible clearly says that they are doctrines of devils.

So I keep busy with ministering to others and my crafts and church.
I do not believe in Horoscpoes. I put my trust in the Lord Jesus.

Mary, it's good that you keep in touch with your doctor. I believe service God with your ministry is important. Good for you!!! if you don't know what your ministry is, it's probably the one that you naturally respond to. Like caring for others and it will develop from there. You know, before I started my singing ministry, I praticed singing with the congregation and had a yearning to join the worship team. But, before I did I asked God if He wanted me to sing for Him, and I heard him say in my heart that I would sing for Him. I struggled with my stage fright for months, until finally I got used to being on stage and comfortable enough to sing with the worship team. I've been singing with them for over a year now and I just love it. I just feels right.

Ladies, I took today off because I had a slight accident last night. My mother had hung a lazy susan from the side cubboard wall and last night I knocked it off it's screw. It fell and hit my big toe which is now sprained and my nail is black and blue. Probably will lose that nail, but thank God it's not broken!!! Hurts, but I've been putting ice on it and took today off from work for rest. Pray that I will have a speedy recovery. Thanks

Yes I have tried every over the counter and prescription pain killer. I have some pain medication that my doctor gives me but its strong and makes me sleepy so I take it at night time. I will take it during the day if the pain gets too severe for me to bear. He gave me a milder one to taker during the day but it did nothing for the pain and I think it was the motroin 800.
I have pain patches my doct gave me to and they do ok. I leave them on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours.
Its just walking on the knees that hurts so bad, when I am off them they feel better. I see him again on June 6th. I am afraid he may wantto do some surgery. But I am ok, just say a prayer for me, thats all I need.

"This Divine Day of My Life"

Today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life, ever! There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did! And because I did I'm going to celebrate this divine day!

Today, I'm going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far: the accomplishments, the many divine blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger. I will go through this day with my head held high, and a happy heart. I will marvel at God's divine simple gifts: the morning dew, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the flowers, the birds.

Today, none of these miraculous divine creations will escape my notice.

Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people. I'll make someone smile. I'll go out of my way to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone I don't even know.

Today, I'll give a divine and sincere compliment to someone who seems down. I'll tell a child how special he or she is. I'll tell someone I love, just how deeply I care for them and how much they mean to me.

Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don't have and start being grateful for all the divine and wonderful things God has already given me. I'll remember that to worry is just a waste of time because my faith in God and his Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine.

And tonight, before I go to bed, I'll go outside and raise my eyes to the heavens. I will stand in awe at the divine beauty of the stars and the moon, and I will praise God for these magnificent treasures. As the day ends and I lay my head down on my pillow, I will thank the Almighty for the best divine day of my life. And I will sleep the sleep of a contented child, excited with expectation because I know tomorrow is going to be the best divine day of my life, ever!
