This is one of the most loving and friendly christian groups online that I've ever encountered. I love them as my own and they are my dear friends in Christ Jesus, and always will be.

There are no pressures here. Many times I would come here depressed, or fatiqued, or just disheartened about some family matters, but no matter what was going on in my life at the time, these women would lift me up and support me in prayer.

That's what this thread is all about. We are here to support and love one another in Christ, and share what God has been doing in our daily lives.

So, Melle, feel free to post as often as you like, when you like and as often as you like. We you into our group with open arms!!!

I didn't do a whole lot for Mother's Day. The girls each called me, which was nice and Henry bought me a Cheese Burger, Cajun Fries, and a Strawberry Cheese Cake for dessert.
It was pretty quiet.

Good Afternoon ladies....

I am going through my house today cleaning. Getting ready for my precious daughters and families for Memorial Day weekend.

I uncluttered my kitchen, did laundry, cleaned up my Utility Room, Cleaned my Patio Door and cleaned the track where all the dirt and bugs gather.

I am on a roll ladies. Have a blessed afternoon...

My hubby put our flag out already on the front of the house. Do you all fly flags to on your house?
Don't know what we will be doing on Memorial Day, our daughter and two grand children are all going camping with friends at some lake near here so I guess we will not see them all week-end. Maybe we will ride over to Tallahassee to see my sister.

Not much going on today with me, my knees were hurting bad earlier but I put one of the pain patches on them that my doctor gave me and it helps some but just can't walk good or it hurts bad. So I guess I will sit all day or lay down till it eases up some.

Its hot here now outside, getting so hot you burn real fast if you don't have sun screen on. Is it hot yet where you all are?

Mary, here in Canada we are very patriotic and put up flags from our homes too. When I see them it reminds me that I live in a free country. I've visited Blaine Washington in the past and loved seeing the American flags flying in the wind.

Tammy yes, I really do love to clean house when I am feeling good, and boy what a workout I got.

I have already cleaned my bath downstairs and polished my shower with Windex. I have a beautiful shower with the gold trim and frosted glass with clear inserts of patterns. I love cleaning that shower. All I have to do is Windex it inside and out.

I got the bath, utility and hot tub room vacuumed also. Now I am on a roll.

Just wanted to say hi to you all today.
My knees are still bothering me today so still taking it easy.
Not muce else going on with me, we are expeciting rain today and its all dark looking outside but the yard and plants sure need the watering.
We are under water restrictions here so we cannot water everyday like we would like to. Bit I hear it will soon be lifted though, sure hope so.

I found this poem and just never seen it before and wanted to share it with you.

"Dancing with the Lord"

Now imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking along the beach together. For much of the way the Lord's footprints go along steadily, consistently, rarely varying in the pace. But your prints are in a disorganized stream of zig zags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns. For much of the way it seems to go like this. But gradually, your footprints come in line with the Lord's, soon paralleling His consistently. You and Jesus are walking as true friends.

This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens; your footprints that once etched the sand next to the Master's are now walking precisely in His steps. Inside His large footprints is the smaller "sandprint," safely enclosed. You and Jesus are becoming one; this goes on for many miles. But gradually you notice another change. The footprints inside the larger footprints seem to grow larger. Eventually it disappears altogether. There is only one set of footprints. They have become one; again this goes on for a long time.

But then something awful happens. The second set of footprints is back. This time it seems even worse than before. Zig zags all over the place. Stop...start. Deep gashes in the sand. A veritable mess of prints. You're amazed and shocked. But this is the end of your dream.

Now you speak: "Lord, I understand the first scene with the zig zags, fits, starts, and so on. I was a new Christian, just learning. ButYou walked on through the storm and helped me learn to walk withYou."

"That is correct," replied the Lord.

"Then, when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps. I followed You very closely.:"

"Very good. You have understood everything so far."

"Then the smaller footprints grew and eventually filled in with Yours. I suppose that I was actually growing so much that I was becoming more like You in every way."

"Precisely."

"But this is my question, Lord. Was there a regression of something? The footprints went back to two, and this time it was worse than the first."

The Lord smiles, then laughs. "You didn't know?" He says. "That was when we danced."

FOR HE WILL TURN YOUR MOURNING INTO DANCING!!!!!!!

Diana Of course you realize that weight I lost, was weight that I gained back, but my true weight loss is, .2lbs... It is coming off slow, and I think it is because I am on so much medicine and had to start taking the Pump Inhibitor again for the acid reflux, and on the bright side, I don't have anymore severe heartburn or acid reflux and basically been able to eat anything I want too. Now on the downside of it, it makes me hungry as a horse and I have to fight that...

Wow, I hope that acid reflux gets under control. That has to be painful!
But at least you have something for that.
There is always a draw back to taking something isn't there!!

Well at least your losing, even though it's slow.

Diana, well my hair was kind of a mess, because we had been fishing, but that is the most recent one taken that I have way liked.

Henry and I went and got our Drivers License renewed while we were out today, and I am glad that we got that done... we put foggers out to get rid of the spring bugs and I saw a
Scorpion in our basement this week, so now we should be free of bugs for awhile... At least we don't have Roaches... I hate those things with a passion..
