Well I didn't really mean that to be funny, but I can see the humor in it...

Right now I am waiting for it to get to 4:30 so we can cook. I am starving today. I get to eat at 5. This makes 37 days that I have just eaten 1 meal a day...

Henry is cooking me his famous deep fried fish and I make my own Hush Puppies and we will have fries with them. Yummy...

We are having fresh fish tonight. I watched Henry out of the window fishing from our pier. I tell you what, this is God's Country.

Oh my gosh! Fried fish sounds really good right now! I love hush puppies too. I can eat a hand full of them.

Hey Sistas,

I've just come back from prayer and we watched a video tonight about our brothers and sista's in Indonesia. Indonesia has the worlds biggest population of muslims and there is about 13% christian. In this video they discussed the radical muslims and how they are going into the christian villages and terrifying everyone. There was a man who was asked if he wanted to serve allah or Christ and he said Christ! Praise God! They asked him to convert several times and he refused. For this they beat him, cut him with a sword, stabbed him a couple of times. And when he was down for the count the stabbed him in his back and legs...put leaves on him and tried to set him on fire! He crawled on his belly for 8 days praying for God to take him and he heard God tell him NO, I'm not finished with you yet! Amazing!
There was another woman who ran out of a burning church, that was set on fire by radical muslims and went to an officer for help. The officer turned and asked her Christ or allah? 3 times...the third time he shot her in the face....she stated in the video she was ready to die for Christ....but he spared her life....WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!
I'm telling you all this to say PRAY!

Pray that God will comfort and protect these our fellow brothers and sisters in the faith!
Pray that God will give them supernatural favor with everyone they deal with!
Pray that God can soften the hearten of those radicals and help them to see the light!
Pray that God will provide bibles in their languages, because as of now they're not available for them. They have over 700 languages there.
Please share with your church, prayer band, friends please spread the word however God leads you to! It's the least we can do for our family. This convicts me to be extra thankful and grateful to worship FREELY without the worry of being killed/stabbed and so forth.

I used to read Voice of the Martyers and would read about our brothers and sisters who have gone the same things.
I do pray for those in other countries and will continue to do that.

Patty, (La Lady) why are you only eating one meal a day? I don't see how you do that. Are you still low carbing?
I had two eggs this morning and have not ate lunch yet because I had the eggs late around 10:00 AM, so I think I may wait until about 2:00 to eat lunch and we eat supper around 6:30. I got some spare ribs out to cook on the grill tonight for supper. Not sure if i want to make a salad with them or cook my squash with them.
We have had some cool weather here in Florida this year, really strange for us here. Today its around 60, to cold for me. But at least we have the sunshine along with the cold so its not too bad.
I am still unpacking boxes but they are dwindling down some, one day I will have them all unpacked. I can get my car back in the garage now so thats good.
My knees are still bothering me when I am on them to much but I have knee braces I wear now on them when I am up alot and they help some.
Its my old back that has been bothering me to so it seems I have a double whammy of pain all at one time..But I survive it, heavens only knows how though. I know Gods is watching over me to help me bear it all.

The diet (CAD Diet that I am on) the woman that came up with the diet, only ate 1 meal a day and lost all of her weight and also I found out that it is good for us to fast. He helps keep you from getting Heart Disease and it cleans out you cells. I eat whatever I want in that meal and eat it within 1 hr. nothing after or before. It really isn't that hard. I didn't think I would be able to do it either...

Man, I'm a bit behind in my posting and have to catch up somewhat. I hope that you are all doing well and that God is working things out in your lives. I can see he is doing just that. I know that God is moving in our lives and I will keep praying for you all, knowing that God is in control no matter what!!!

Mary, I wish that you didn't suffer so much with pain. My mother is the same and has her bad days and good ones, but she is believing that God will work a miracle in her body. She's working on forgiving those that have hurt her for several years, and is feeling better inside. 'Cause God is healing her from the inside out!!!

Hi Diana, Momma Patty, Worldchanger and those I missed!!! I truly am thankful for this loving, caring and supportive group that values God as much as I do.

As for myself, lately I've been stressing at work. A coworker of mine complains, gossips and talks way too much. I'm at my wits end these past few days because of it, because when no one is around she spits out a negetive comment about work or someone and I end up saying nothing, but just fuming inside. Finally I had to go and talk to my supervisor about it and now I have told him twice. I've said my peace and now will bite my tongue, I don't need to lose my job over it. The next time she says anything negetive I will tell her that I don't want to hear about it anymore. I've decided that my bosses are the ones who will deal with the matter and it is in God's hands now. I will keep putting her in his hands and keep praying that things will work themselves out, in Jesus's name!!!

Man, prayer does truly change things, siduations and even people. I am going to get through this because the battle is the Lord's!!! I'm reminded of the 40 days of temptation that Jesus went through. The enemy would come and tempt him, go away for a while and come back to do it all over again. That's how it works sometimes. Things are good, going smoothly at work and then the enemy comes and stirs things up again. Life is like that, and God is teaching me to handle any siduation that arises in me. Then from that I will become a much stronger, more loving and patient women of God!!! Thank you Jesus!!!

You are headed in the right direction! Your response on the bottom is how we need to be! Praise God that you were open to what He is doing and how He wants you to handle this. Because we will always have situations going on with us no matter what and the best thing to do is give it to the Lord and not the let the enemy get a foothold into our lives with things like this.

An no matter what, we need to show the love of God towards others. That's something I have to keep reminding myself of too!!

Star I have been reading what we should do in my Woman's High Calling book and baby you are right to not listen. She says then when someone tries to gossip to you then just tell them " It may just be me, but I don't care to hear this". It is funny that I have been reading this and that you are going through it, and another, If they are gossiping to you about someone, then they are gossiping to someone else about you. So nip it in the bud, Baby...

I'm on a roll this morning. I got my face on, got Henry's laundry started and made a humongous salad for us for supper.

Yep, the last two days I have been on cloud 9... It's just good to know that we are God's kids and we can enjoy the life that he gives us. I really hope to live to be 90 years old with good health of course. I was reading in AARP Magazine and they are saying now that soon people with live to be 150 years old.

I want to be here on earth, as long as, God needs me here. I have a feeling that he has a lot for me to do yet. I would love to be able to live long enough to see all my Great Grandchildren grown and have babies. I don't have any Great Grandkids yet but looking forward to it...

I went on a similar diet once when I was in my 40's but i drank slim fast for breakfast and lunch and only ate supper and I lost 16 pounds the first month but I could not take it anymore and when I began eating three regular meals again I gained it all back.
Anyway I would get so weak almost faint during the day I was afraid to go out the house, so I had to stop it.
But if its working for you I say go for it.

They're pretty close i age aren't they. I love their names!

Thanks Diana. Yep and they have grown up so fast... My oldest daughter Melanie children are Whitney, Lindsay and MiKayla, Dawn's is Joey and Jessi. We are so very blessed with Grandchildren like these. They are wonderful kids. Whitney is the only one that is sick. She has Lupus. I am believing for a miracle for her. She was terribly ill for a couple of years and she couldn't function at times. God has been good and we are seeing improvements with her. She was born pre-mature and we didn't know for 72 hrs. whether she would live or die. Henry and I went to Little Rock to be with Whitney at the Neo-Natal in the Children's Hospital. We couldn't even touch her for a few days. Melanie had to stay behind for 3 days because she had a C-Section. I remember sitting by her incubator for hours praying that God would save her. I can't remember what day it was, but God told me that Whitney would be alright. Whitney is a wonderful Christian girl that is on fire for him. I remember at the age of 4 she would ask me who God was. She has always loved him. I just know that God is going to get Whitney in Remission. She is doing so much better now...
