I am so depressed

I don't know what to do. My sister died 10 months ago. I think my cat is going to die in the next month. I don't have anyone to talk to

You can talk to us.
Think of this as your journel and just start writing what you feel inside. Pretty soon you will feel better that you let go of everything inside.

We're here for you, and will listen, will encourage you and support you, in any manner.

Don't worry, eveything will work out for you, all this will pass. Just allow yourself to let go of your hurts and pain then in time you will heal.
I know it's hard, but you can do it.

Let us know how you're doing. I'll be praying for you!

Karen, My prayers are going out to you right now. I know what it is like to lose someone you love dearly, we lost our only son to cancer a few years back so I feel your pain. We never get over it but we do learn to live without their presence, but they live always in your heart so never forget that. There is still not a day that passes that I do not think of my son. Think of all the happy times you had with them and
I had my son only for such a short time but I thank God for every minute I did have him and that God chose me to be his mother to have him to love like I do. Yes I love him even though he is gone, love never dies you see, it only grows, even though that person is now in heaven with God they are with us still to in our hearts.

I had my old cat that I had for 17 years pass away three months ago to and that was heart breaking to. Some say animals don't go to heaven but I believe that if God created the animals, then he has prepared a place for them in heaven to.I since have gotton a new cat and she is a baby and I love her so much, hope to have her as long as I had my old cat.

I just want to say that you are not alone in your grieveing, God is standing there right next to you holding your hand. He will not leave you. He knows what you are feeling at this time and all you need to do is just talk to Him.

Everyone on this board is so caring. Sometimes it's easier to pour out all your hurts and thoughts to people that are "anonymous". It's amazing how it will help to talk and discuss. When you know that there are others that have gone through similiar situations, losses, or terrible experiences. It helps to know how they got through it, and they can now help you.
I lost a husband when I was 30. He had a kidney disease that eventually led to dialysis, a transplant, then hospitalization for a month until he died. I had a 6 year old to raise, etc. He eventually suffered from depression, and now I never hear from him. I am being very brief about all of this, but you get the idea.
None of us get through this life without pain. I couldn't get through the pain without Christ. He gives us strength and assurance, and He is always with us, every moment. He gives us Joy through it all!
If you read about Job in the Bible, and all that he endured, always trusting in God. Everything and more was restored to him. I'm certainly not talking about the "health and wealth" type of thinking, but I do believe that God blesses those who perservere with faith and obedience.
No matter what life throws at us, we have an eternity with Christ in our future.
I, also, have three cats, all rescued. I know the loss of an animal is hard. I spoil mine rotten. We have lost 5 cats over the years, and it is always difficult. I always hope that they have a peaceful death and not have to suffer like many stray cats do. So sad, but, unfortunately, their life span is not equal to ours. Be happy that your cat was given a good life, and you will have wonderful memories of your cat.
Don't hesitate to talk to us anytime, and please remember that God loves you and died for you.
