Prayers for Newbie's mom in Cancer Hospital

Hi all; this is my first post to this group. The good news is that I started low carbing on Tuesday the 26th and have lost 3 pounds. My goal is to loose 20 by the end of Feb.

The sad news is that I heard yesterday the 27th that my mom is in the cancer hospital undergoing tests. It looks serious, but she is in denial and is pushing people away. I would appreciate your prayers!

What a day; my daughter is recovering after being hit by a chain while unloading some lumber. Your prayers would be appreciated for her. And for myself to stay on track with diet and exercise.
