well done
Well Done Blessed by the riches of God’s kingdom, I make wise use of spiritual resources. In the Parable of the Talents, Jesus told the story of a man who, when departing his home, trusted his employees to do what they chose with portions of his own wealth. The first and second men were rewarded for increasing the amount entrusted to them, while the third, who had hidden his portion, was not. I am entrusted with the abundance of God every day. I accept good and do not hide it away. I invest whatever abundance I receive in my relationships, my work, and my talents. I may reach beyond what I think is possible, but this, too, is a part of giving and receiving from the riches of God’s kingdom. I discover great joy in participating in receiving and giving from the kingdom of God that surrounds and sustains me. In prayer, in thought, and in action, I invest spiritual resources, and I am fulfilled. “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”—Matthew 25:21 (KJV) ![]() |
