Healing


Filled with God's healing love, my mind and body are strong and resilient.
We don't have to wait until times of apparent sickness to open ourselves to God's healing power. Our spirits, minds, and bodies become more alive as we know and affirm that health and wholeness are always God's will for us.
Healing can take many different forms. We often recognize healing as an activity that takes place within our bodies. We have all watched and marveled, even as children, at how a scraped knee or a cut finger soon heals and leaves little or no sign of the injury that was once there.
Healing takes place in our souls as well when we are willing to let divine love do its healing work there. Healing takes place within us and among us with the recognition that we are all children of God.
"'Lord, if you choose, you can make me clean.' He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, 'I do choose. Be made clean!'"--Matthew 8:2-3

My husband and I are recently seperated ( 2 1/2 weeks). I find a lot of comfort in your posts. Thank you for "helping" me through a difficult time.

I'm doing a little better, thank you so much for asking. You have no idea how much that means to me. I am getting stronger everyday. I have just recently started going to church (I always went as a kid) and have been talking to the minister about DH and I. I find a lot of comfort in this. DH has come a long ways in the past week or so, so I am hopeful. He said he was going to go speak with the minister himself. I'm not sure he will come home, but I will continue to hope that he does. I have asked everyone to pray for us and I believe it has helped. I remind him that I forgive him so it makes it easier for him to move past this and try to find his way. Thanks for asking about me You are a very sweet person to care about a stranger.

Unfortunately he's back sliding again, the roller coaster continues. I've decided just to back off and give him space. I realize I can't control him and I'm not going to allow him to control me.

Thank you I went to counseling yesterday and got my self back together. I saw a notice on the church bulletin board Sunday looking for handmade items for babies in need and it popped into my head as I was leaving the counselors. I ran to the store and got some yarn, a crochet hook and a pattern to make a baby afghan to give. I may only get one made, but it gives me something to focus my energy on. I love to help people, so this is something I can do while I'm "recovering" from this. I know I will still have bad days, but I'm glad I can pop in here and get a little boost from you....This crisis has truly shown me that there are so many good people in this world. Thank you for caring so much about a stranger.

Here is a wonderful blessing for today and I wanted to share it with you all.
My niece just got her new baby, she adopted it, and she looks like a angel.
I cannot believe the real mother gave a angel up like her but I know my niece will be a wonderful mother, and I know that God put that baby in her hands to raise and to love and cherish as her own for a reason . They gave her the name Mary Ann.
She is truely a angel sent to earth by God. I just thank Him for allowing this little baby to be apart of our family.
She will never go for the lacking of any love and christian raising.

Just wanted to share this with you all my christian friends.
