God's mirror

I wish there were a mirror
Held up to me by the hand of God
Reflecting how he sees me
And affirming I am not so very odd.

I sometimes stop and wonder
What God would say to me
Were I to sit and ask him
What good in me he sees.

So I would always honour
The self thats deep within
And clearly see myself
The way that I appear to him.

But deep inside I really know
That I am perfect in his mind
and affirming that I know his truth
I leave my doubts and fears behind.
