Prayers please...

Many of you know that my mom has suffered for a long time w/cancer that spread throughout her body. Yesterday she finished her journey here on earth. She passed away at home in my dad's arms and me beside her. She was so tired. She was the strongest, most amazing woman I have ever known. My heart hurts. She is my best friend. Please keep my father and sisters in your prayers.

Have comfort to know that she no longer suffers and she is resting peacefully.

I am so sorry! She sounded like an amazing women and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! I would like to share a poem with you that I have been reading with many tears and a smile as the days pass. My FIL recently passed away and I miss him more than anything. This poem reminds me of him and what he would say to me! I hope you do not mind me sharing it with you!!! I am sorry but I do not know who wrote it!

When I must leave you for a little while-please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years. But start out brevely with a gallant smile: And for my sake and in my name live on and do all things the same. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost my mom (my best friend) on Thanksgiving Day 1994 to Leukemia, I held her hand as she left this world. It is a hard thing to deal with, but I am sure she is still here with me and so is your mother with you.
