I will pray...my DH fell 25 feet off of a scaffolding at work in 2001 and broke over 25 bones in his face and the eye socket. He twisted his ankle and had elbow nerve damage but the plastic surgeon at the trauma unit was phenomonal and he came through it with flying colors and he is non the worse for wear now. It is a long road to recovery but thankfully he is alive. I feel your pain and will pray for a speedy recovery..Lisa

thank you all for you well wishes and prayers.its gonna be a long haul so i thank you for your much needed support.
the surgery didnt take quite as long(9 hours)..he had 8 plates put in.. both orbits were crushed his nose was crushed cheek bones and sinuses crushed..dr said it looked like broken egg shells..the plastic surgeon came highly recommended..oh also something with the TMJ that he really could not repair in fear of worse problems so he "left well enough alone"...his mouth is wired for a few weeks to hold the joint in place. he goes in thursday for his hip/pellvic and his wrist and elbow...
lisa...glad your husbands recovery went well..that is encourging..hope we have the same...he is lucky to be alive..as bad as it is.. it could have been worse..

chrrisy..we actually live in levittown..he was working at a ship yard near us ..unloading cargo..fell about 15 ft to the bottom of the ship floor(cast iron). he is 50 yrs old..

..keep us in your prayers..our daughter graduates from high school tonight..he is upset he is missing it..poor guy..all he wanted to do in life was provide and care for his family..he will have to let us take care of him for awhile...
well i am off to the hospital..thank you again and keep us in your prayers..
