Prayer Request: For My Babies

I've lurked on this board for awhile and enjoy reading the inspirational posts and add some the prayer requests to my list. So now it's my turn.

This is a situation I've been praying about for 6+ months. I've even cried about it, told the Lord I was giving it to Him but the situation seems to be escalating. It's about my ex. I don't want to get into the messy details but basically, I found out that he is attempting in a very proactive manor of breaking my bond with our children. I had suspected it but one of my children told me about it recently and I was not sure if I should cry or feel ill. There is more than that and basically, I've been through hell and back again but by the grace of God, He snatched me and my babies out of that situation.

My request is: please pray that God protects my little girls (ages 1 and 3 years old), that He deal with this situation very soon and pour out a financial blessing for us.

I'm trying not to stress out about it but those are my babies and I'm their mommy.

They live with me, I financially support them, change their diapers/pullups, I feed, clothe, bathe, play, kiss and love them profusely. I don't even know how I feel about their father at this point. Whether to be angry or sad that he would even disrepect me as a mother to his children like that. I'm thinking about even fasting about the situation because it needs to come to an end soon. This situation I'm writing about is only one of many which have been going on for months now and I'm praying that God intervenes quickly and other believers can join me that God deliver my family from this situation.

Thank you for all those that stand with me in prayer for lifting this heavy burden.

I once heard Tony Evans say, "When all hell breaks lose, you must be doing something right." You sound like you're doing the right thing -- keep on walking through this and handing it over to God every minute of every day until it's over.

God is THE Great Deliverer. I pray right now: May He reveal Himself to you in such a mighty way that you never need deliverance from this situation again.

Remember what David said when he stood before Goliath: "GOD, who delivered me from the teeth of the lion and the claws of the bear, will deliver me from this Philistine." Believe, sister! Keep your camp clean and wait for the deliverance the Lord will provide for you. (deut 23:14)

This board has become my 2nd "home"...well, other than my mom's house.

Tfaith7 - What you posted was confirmation. Let me tell you how good God is. I have been debating on how to handle some of the situations that are occuring and the day before God revealed to me the David & Goliath story and how it correlated to what I was going through now. So yesterday at the same time you were posting I was so nervous and praying the whole time as I drove to file paperwork that my ex was not complying with the financial support order. By the time we go to court, it will be close to ten thousand dollars. When I walked outside the courthouse, the sun seemed to be shining brighter, I felt more at peace and God whispered in my ear that He was still in control.

Then I came back home and read your message about David & Goliath which was posted at the same time I was filing the paperwork!

God is amazing!

GetFit.....read up on PAS (Parent Ailenation Syndrome). DH and I have been down this path with his exwife...it's a pretty big deal these days to judges.
