My mother apologized

If anyone read about the little "F" bomb my mom dropped on me last week in "what's the worst thing anyone ever said to you", you will get a kick out of this.
We were speaking on the phone , long distance and I was proud to tell her i had lost 18 pounds so far (out of 27 to loose) . I told her I had just bought a few pair of new, size 10 pants. Her response was , "well, don't throw away your fat clothes."

I got a lovely card and a nice letter, apoogizing for the remark, and how she doesn't think I am fat , and she is very proud of me. Usually, when she messes up, she just gets defensive. I think my little mommy is gowing up!

That's awesome that she acknowledged it right away,your Mom loves you.

Thats great. It was probably very hard thing for her to apologize but she knew she was wrong. (It's weird, how some people never admit to being wrong) It's even better to have it in writing

That's so nice. A sincere apology always takes away the sting. That was really great of your mom.
