Why would I dream such a thing???
What would cause me to dream about carbs??
I was standing at a table, and on that table was a Coffee cake & Cinnomon rolls... I told myself "Don't eat that", "You can't eat any of that stuff"... But what do I do??? I cut off a Big piece of Coffee cake and shoved it in my mouth before I even had a chance to realize what I was doing... I thought to myself "Oh well, the damage is done now" and continued with the cinnamon rolls... I woke up and felt so guilty about it all day that I even tried consummig larger quanities of water to help flush my "dream carbs" out of my system... Funny, Huh???

Way too much time on my hands!

these dreams are common in people who are making changes in their life. People who are quitting smoking often dream they are smoking...people dieting often dream they are eating something not allowed on their diet. These are called damit dreams. Dreams of absent minded transgressions. In general, people who have these dreams are more successful at their lifestyle changes.

You dreamt it because carbs are good. And you want them. Give into it.
JK, I've had more dreams than I can remember regarding great tasting carbified food! |

I'll tell you something: when I'm strictly following my diet with no cheats at all, I have dreams about buffets EVERY night!! I eat and eat and eat most of the time and sometimes there is something that happens and I don't get to the buffet. They are always the most extravagant of buffets too. Not some cheap Old Country Buffett type of thing. They are lavish and rich. But when I've indulged in any off limits during my waking hours, I don't have any dreams about food. It's weird how our subconscious compensates for us when we under-indulge our vices.
