Allynnegirl's Accountability Thread 2006

Just a quick start - got an emergency to help take care of.

This year's resolution is a culmination of stuff I have been working on for the last four years.

Finance Management - Pay off at least one debt and make major advancement on the others this year. No more credit card use!

Time Management - Flylady advice, routines and stay away from the stupid PS2 :redface

Spiritual Management -
1. Power of a Praying Wife
2. Read the Bible in a Year
3. Attend BILD classes Sunday mornings (16 week class)
4. Go to church EVERY Sunday that I possibly can

Health Management -
1. DDR with DD 3x per week
2. Lose at least 50# this year
3. Take care of my appearance - makeup, hairstyle, nails, etc. (no salons)

I know it seems a lot, but I can succeed in all four at once - with God's help and a more organization than I have been using before.

Was sick all weekend (head cold), didn't pay attention to what I ate, scale gave me a few extra pounds to get rid of.

*DD guilted me into doing DDR even though I was depressed and really not in a good mood. DH encouraged me to go ahead, it would make me feel better . Anywho, 10min into the session DD sits on the couch complaining of her knee hurting her (drama queen) and, as I continue, she hits the arrows while sitting on the couch. Meanwhile, I am getting more and more then and finally after 20min stop DDRing because (1) I am so mad I cannot see straight and (2) dinner was ready.

ON THE WEEKENDS, I MUST REMEMBER -- WATER, WATER, WATER!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Saturday I had GrapeNuts for breakfast and too much pizza for lunch, so I skipped dinner. Sunday I skipped breakfast 'cause I was taking the kids to Chuck E' Cheese for games and PIZZA, then only had a bowl of rice and chili for dinner. I didn't go over my Points, but my carbs were outta sight! Needless to say, I gained a bit. *sigh*

Anyway, I did not go back over 220 but am just barely under, so I am claiming it.

I still had all my FlexPoints, was tempted to have some ice cream or chocolate fudge cake; but I successfully resisted.

Clothes feel looser, but scale has me up 5#. Probably because of the high sodium content of the dinner last night.
