Catholic Study Bible
I need your help. I am searching for a good Catholic version study bible. Right now I have a Thomas Nelson New King James Version Study Bible. I love it, but I want a good study Bible with the Apocrypha in it.
Nelson apparently does not make this study Bible in the Revised Standard form. I do not want the New Revised Version. I prefer the language closest to the New King James Version. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

They can be found and studied online at:
http://www.sacred-texts.com/chr/apo/ this looks like a good site too: http://www.comparative-religion.com/...ity/apocrypha/ then at www.AMAZON.com there are several bibles you can purchase such as: The King James Apocrypha and this book, also at amazon, looks promising: Parallel Apocrypha: Greek Text, King James Version, Douay Old Testament, the Holy Bible by Ronald Knox, Today's English Version, New Revised Standard Version, New (Hardcover) Few christians today will believe that the bibles that they have today were ever different... but guess what!!! they were!! the 'books' (as well as the words - translations) have been added and deleted and rearranged and re-added several times over, according to how the political and church POWERFULS decided would be right for them... I applaud you for being willing to read what was once read and followed before. good luck on your search! |

Thanks. I ended up ordering one from Amazon called the Oxford Study Bible in the Revised Standard Edition. It has not come in yet.
