What's your life philosophy?

Mine has always been worry about everything and be afraid of new experisences - you're sure to fail. DH is don't worry everthing will work out on it's own. Mom's is just keep going and work you way thru. Obviously mine isn't working well. I need something new, from someone who had lost weight hopefully.

My life philosophy is to have a wild ride, meet as many people as you can, give what you can give, and if everything goes wrong, find a new hobby, because running naked down the street just might get you arrested.

Lets see in the last 3 years both DH and I have been laid off (160k a year gone) we have started our own business and are struggling to make ends meet, our savings are gone, DH had emergency open heart surgery in Feb then died on the operating table but was revived, then had a stroke in March. Two weeks ago my dog became paralyzed.

Damn I sound like the most pathetic twit in the world.

My Philosophy???
Live your life, love your family and don't worry about all the things in life you have no control over. When I think about all the nights sleep I lost in my 20's and 30's worrying about men who didn't call, bosses that didn't understand and the weight that refused to come off, I realize now how self centered and ridiculous I was. There is always someone worse off than I am and as a member of the human race I need to look outside my own little world and be the best person I can be.
