Awww Shelly, sorry you're having a down day. We love you! We all have days like that, and hormones can certainly cause them. Remember, eating will not cure your problems, so stick to your plan. Do you exercise? I often find that 30 mins. of cardio can really lift my spirits when I'm feeling down. What about a walk?

I ditto what Julia said. Been there done that, and the end result was me gaining weight......... Not a good feeling. I pray that you are lifted up.

Shelly, I feel this way often also. I think it has to do with my hormones. I am going though premenopause. My periods only visit me once every 3 or 4 months but I am still experiencing pms symptoms which have been worse over the last year. I too feel like crying for no reason at many times.

I have days I wake up feeling totally depressed and feeling left out, ignored, pushed aside and useless. My doctor has me on Zoloft which I am still in the early weeks of taking so I am not sure yet it is helping.

Your not alone Shelly feeling the way you do.

Go ahead and cry if you want there is nothing wrong with letting it out. You may feel better afterward. Thank goodness I don't feel down too often anymore but at one point in my life I felt as you do today. I used to get in my car and drive and when I was in a less populated area, with the windows up, I would scream and scream and scream. Other than the sore throat, I felt so much better. Hope this passes soon!

A good hard cry helps me in situations like this. Sometimes I watch a sad movie to really get the tears going. Its ok to cry it out.

Shelly and wcsis~ I am sorry anyhow feels this way. I really don't know what to suggest, although that is probably not what you're looking for anyway. Maybe just knowing we all care and want your spirits lifted will help. The time will pass.

Oh wiat, I just thought of something. My all time favorite movie, Dumb and Dumber, would be excellent in a down time. I bring it to watch when I fly and use the headphones. I forget people can hear me laughing and have to quiet myself down. Oh, it is so funny. Although, I am a giggle box who comedians love to have in their audience.

Your not alone. I called my mom this morning in tears over something pretty mini in most worlds and in 5 mins she was at my door unexpectedly and all she said was " I came to give you a hug" and left....she lives 5 miles from me! I wish there were ways of not having these kinds of days. I too think it is hormomal. Got my TOM this morning. I had myself a really good cry and now I feel much better. You know what movie makes me cry? Terms of Endearment....when she is dying and her little boys comes in to say good bye her...how heartbreaking. But is does induce and excellent cry and helps me to see that my life really isn't so bad.

I'm sending you my biggest hug and hoping that tomorrow is brighter.

*knock-knock* who's there? ~ Duane. Duane who? *Duane the bathtub I think I'm drowning! That always makes my boys smile!
