Please pray

A family friend who is a tiny little lady about 20 yrs old had a friend in front seat while she drove her two little guys who were in their carseats strapped in (big SUV). They were driving through an intersection while another vehicle running a stop light, hit them on the driver's side. Their SUV flipped three times. The baby's seatbelt broke releasing the baby seat. He stopped breathing several times in the ambulance. The 1 1/2 yr old boy is ok. The adult passenger in front says she is ok. The little gal driving was hanging by her seatbelt when everything stopped. The flew her to a head trauma center up north. They have now also taken the baby there too.

Please pray for their comfort and their families. Please pray that all turns out ok.

God, please carry them through all this. Please shelter them with Your Almighty Hands. Give them rest. Please keep them in Your sight. Please give the doctors and nurses a special love, patience and knowledge to help them recover. Lord, please guide their hands.

They took her into surgery about 10 last night to "try to put her face back together". Her neck is broken.

They are releasing the baby today, to family. I still have not heard about her legs or anything else.
They are alive. Thanks so much for your prayers.

Oh no!!!! Which hospital did they fly her to? My Uncle is an Emergency Surgeon at St Vincents in Ft. Wayne. I don't watch the local news much so I hadn't heard this.

Gosh I hope she will pull thru. The seatbelt broke?

was it defective or was it the crash that broke it. Keep us updated.

More news trickled down to me this evening. The baby was dismissed today.
The mother who was driving has no car insurance. The other driver was drunk. What a mess.
I would imagine that a lawyer will be in order. They probably don't even know what to do next. And the husband's grandmother passed away the same day as the accident.
