Too Much Stress

Right this moment I just have too much stress!!

I have an 8 month old son (adopted after 9 years of infertility)...good stress and I am a social worker....just plain stress. I love my job but it is very stressful. I lead a group of 15 for 4 hours every day. I just applied for a new job and had a really great interview last week. The suspense is killing me! I want to know if they are going to offer me the job and I wish they would call. I know what I do is stressful, but I don't want to get in a worse situation. (By the way, I do know that I will take the job if they offer it to me. I am a little scared but think that it would be a great job.)

My son is adopted and we are hoping to get his final adoption papers soon. I love him so much but I want to know that he is legally and forever mine. I dreamed night before last that he was gone. I woke up in a sweat.

I love my church and felt so wonderful all day yesterday after leaving there. Then I woke up this morning and the Monday blues and stress have really kicked in. I had my quiet time before I left the house this morning to shore me up for the day, but I am about to go crazy here!

Thank you for letting me vent!

Hang in there Tinker Belle.

Being a mom is never easy and the new possiblity of a job is a wonderful opportunity. You will learn to balance both of these the best you can. You'll find what works best for you.

My sanctuary is grocery shopping. When I get stressed I need to leave the house and the kids with my husband and go grocery shopping then I don't have to take it out on my family and I'm doing something useful and getting the thinking time I need.

Thank you for the words of encouragement you two. In fact, I am running to the grocery store this afternoon after work and have asked my dh to pick up the baby. I also enjoy shopping. Until you mentioned it Leann, I forgot how relaxing it is for me.
