I need a hug
Last weekend, I got sick on Saturday evening with severe stomach cramps/pain. I went to the ER. They drew blood and gave me pain meds. They couldn't come up with a diagnosis - thought maybe it was gas
or an ulcer. Sent me home with pain meds and told me to buy some Prilosec. Sunday I started passing blood clots. Went back to ER. I had a miscarriage. ![]() My husband and I have been married for less than 2 years. We've been wanting a baby since we got married. I'm almost 37, he's almost 42. It's the first marriage for both of us. Neither of us have children. I didn't even know I was pregnant. The ER doc said I was just a few weeks along. This just makes me so sad. I know we can try again. I know there's a 'reason' this baby didn't make it. But I'm still sad. I need a hug. ![]() Thanks

Hugs. I had an early miscarriage at about 6.5 weeks along, and I knew I was pregnant. It sucked big time. The good news: I got pregnant again two months later and it stuck
I was 33, dh was 46. Sasha |

Give yourself plenty of time and TLC. You're going through mourning. That baby was just as real as if you knew all along that you were pregnant.

after I had my second miscarriage when I was 33 years old I was told by doctors that I needed to have a hysterectomy because of the huge fibroids in my uterus that made my uterus to warped to carry a baby full term. well I made peace with my plans to ever have children again(had a boy and girl at the time) wouldn't you know it I got pregnant at age 35 and was so excited and to scared at the thought of losing this baby. At around 9 weeks I started spotting which was about the time of my other miscarriages. I told my husband and sat on the bed and waited, waited, waited. Nothing happened I ended up having a beautiful baby girl. all was well with my life my daughter had a sister and wouldn't you know it at 37 I was pregnant again and the exact same thing happened, gave birth to another little girl. God is Good! I wrote all that to say give yourself time don't give up on your dreams of having a child my prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have had 5 miscarriages altogether (three before my first son was born). It's a scary time and so tragic. Get your rest and stay positive. I now have three beautiful, healthy sons. The last born when I was 41. ![]() |
