Need Prayers for my B-i-L

My sister's husband found out he had cancer a couple of months ago, and he is not doing well. My sister has had a very hard life. She was married before and had 4 kids ( now grown). Her ex left when the kids were little and she had to raise these kids without any help from him. She kept taking him to court for child support ( which costs alot of money) and he never would pay. So after spending alot of money on court costs she finally gave up. He married a lady with 9 ( yes 9) kids and totally disowned his own, which really messed up her kids. She married again and this guy ran up thousands of dollars of bills and then disappeared to another country. This left her with more debt. She is now 56 and has finally found happiness and her true sole mate. They have been married for less than 2 years, and I feel crushed that she has finally found true happpiness and it may be taken away from her so soon. Tony ( B-I-L) has had chemo and radiation but the tumors are not getting better. He is now in the hospital with possible meningitis. I don't know how she is able to cope with this and continue to work in the high stress job she has. To make it worse none of our family lives near her. Life has not been very fair to her. I would really appreciate if all of you would please give Tony all of your prayers. I know in the past they have helped others on this board. Thank You All.

Thanks for the prayers from both of you. It is so sad, she has finally found happiness and the outlook is not good. Tony has cancer spots on his spine, rib and liver. So far doctors have not been able to find the primary source of the cancer. Really strange. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.

I participate in the "Chemo Angels" program, and the patient I adopted has colon and liver cancer. They just inserted radioactive beads in her liver trying to fight the tumors.

My B-I-L is now home from the hospital. He now needs a cane to walk, and he can only go short distances. My sister has a very stressful job, but she now has to do just about everything for him. So besides the job she has to cook, clean, laundry, and all the yard work. He is the most kind and generous person you could meet. This is not fair to either of them. Please continue to keep both of them in your thoughts and prayers. Prayers really do help. Thanks.

An update on Tony. Things are not looking good. He recently had a scan done and he has new growths on his liver and spine. He is now on his 3rd different kind of chemo ( due to no improvement from the others). The doctor told my sister and Tony that if this doesn't work chances of a 4th or 5th kind are not good. He is to have a repeat scan the end of the month. PLEASE continue to keep them both in your prayers. They need every prayer they can get.

How sad that your poor sister has finally found someone to love and care for and he is now suffering-I will definately keep them in my thoughts and prayers
