Just wondering what ever happened to Jdprecious

what ever happened to her. I dont think she has posted since Feb.

hey there... right after christmas my 3 yr old was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis... so i quit my job to stay home and take care of her... i was home right around 3 months.. and she was doing much better health wise so i went back to work... now im working for a mortgage company as a loan officer.. but her vitals are good.. all her meds seem to be helping finally and she has gained 6 lbs in the past 3 months... im only working part time and mostly from home... the credit cards are maxed and the bills are months past due... those of you that remember me... keep us in your prayers... since she was diagnosed we attend church regularly and my spirits are up just not my bank account...haha... i appreciate all the thoughts and well wishes... will have to come back to my low carb family on a more permanent basis... on a low carb note.... since jan 1st i went from 180 lbs and currently im holding at 160... 20 lbs in 4 months or so... of course more so due to stress and lack of funds than atkins ... but i am proud to say that sunday was my 3rd week of back to atkins induction and ive lost about 5 lbs extra the past 3 weeks.. its a slow loss but im happy with it.. im skinnier now than ive been in a year and a half.. and im completely ecstatic... i actually go to the beach and flaunt... haha

will be checkin in more often.. thanks again for all the love and support..

I am sorry to hear that your daughter has CF; although I have heard they have come a long way in treatments in recent years. Sounds like you and she are doing wonderful now, though! Congrats on your great attitude and loving care of your daughter!

that both she and you continue doing great!

Thanks Jess! Jadeca1 was leading a challenge group here. She had another miscarriage and a week later quit posting. I PM'd her, but she never picked it up. I hope she is ok. Her challenge group that I was part of has sinced merged with my group.
