Thanks for starting us up again Carolyn. I think I might've lost .5 over the course of the month. Hopefully I'll do better this month.

Marking my spot. I think my loss for October was 6 lbs, I would need to check for sure but before I left for the weekend I got on the scale and it said 193.8, which is exactly 20 lbs less than July 1. I'll take it.

Band won 1st in pre Liam's and 4th in finals, that was Band of America. Tues I'd state finals. Having great time so far but one hip is killing me with all the stairs and walking. Very gimpy. Drive home tomorrow!

Buffy, yeah for your 6 pounds and for you being way into Onederland!!! Yeah for Grant's band!!!!

Nice to have an extra hour, but I was up at 6. Lol. Alex was happy, though, but then he goes back to his cat bed. Lol

Anyone watching Death Comes to Pemberley? It is Masterpiece tonight. Good.

Yes, I saw them. Seoul, I was hoping you might have some non-profit support groups for Alzheimer's in your area that might be able to help, maybe even on a volunteer basis. Or hospice that might also be at no charge. I hope it all works out for you, your mom and your DD.

I hate how dark it gets now so early!!!

Don't like regular time! But, maybe I will be able to get to sleep earlier.

Watching Masterpiece Carolyn.

Got home about 5, very tired and sore hip but so wonderful to be with all my kids at same time, doesn't happen often.

Maybe rain Tuesday, sure hope so. Eating was fine on trip, big breakfast of bacon and omelet, dinner ribeye and asparagus. No snacks. Chipotle bowl for lunch today, pork ribs tonight with a few squares of Loco Polo choc.

Hi guys,

Buffy, good ending but surprising!! Hope your hip is better. I heard tonight that a gal in my Bible study was having her parents visit from NC and her mom broke her hip. Had surgery here with pins and she can't walk on it for a month, so the parents will be visiting longer than expected.

Seoule, my sympathies are with you with your mom. The most important thing is to keep your sense of humor. When my mom was visiting at the start of AD, she told that my cat had come into her room and she and Alex were planning a Christmas party together.

Akk I gained 3 pounds eating on the street this week, but will get it off.

Morning!

I can already tell that this is going to be a day of rest, slept well but I am still very tired. Those kids about ran my old legs off. Lots of stairs at the event center.

You gals are so good at getting right after any weight gains, that is the real trick to maintains, one I have never mastered so hope I do better with time.

Just heard this morning that one of our new band members pulled a huge no no on the field Sat night at finals. She had taken her phone with her onto the field, dropped ir and went down on one knee to retrieve, I'm sure that cost us some points. Our director does not put up with that type of thing, imagine the girl feels pretty bad about a bad decision.

Good job Mema!
I didn't have one bite of Halloween candy. I just don't care anymore.

I wish I were at my lowest low, but I know I'm eating right and I'm just going to be more size 12s than size 10s. Most of my size 10s give me a muffin-top, and I don't care for that.
Lots of size 10s still fit well, but not all of them.

Vanity is a difficult task master.

A size 12 sounds wonderful to me. My size 16 pants still fit but looser, will be fun to move down a size.

WTG Buffy and Judy!! I didn't hand out Halloween candy, BUT, I saw these droolingly delicious looking Russell Stover Chocolate Caramel Apple candies at the Dollar Store and bought a couple for me and DH. Not very smart but they were really good. If I'd bought H. Candy I would've ended up eating what ever was left. So we went to a dance instead! I prefer going to a dance, lol.

Oh, I bought a beach cruiser bicycle today at Walmart. It's sitting in the middle of my living room. I think it'll be great to have at the camp site to ride around to our friends/family sites. And it was marked down to $43!!! Brand new!!!

LOL[/QUOTEyes!!

I had one small Nestles crunch.

Buffy, those kids and their phones!! Bet no one will do that again. Poor kid. At least it didn't ring during the performance.

Made some yogggie with half 1/2 and 1/2 and the rest Carb Countdown. Will see what happens when refrigerated. It was a bit looser, but very low in carbs..

You will love your bike!!

Judy, yeah for 10's!!!!

Hi ladies!!

Time to vote.

I have plantar f. on my right heel. My chiro said to put a golf ball under your foot and roll it around all over the bottom for about 10 minutes. That is your medical tip for the day.

Oh, ladies, I discovered a great place to learn how to dress for your energy type. There are a series of free videos. It is called Dressing Your Truth. Very interesting.

Hope everyone is doing great today!!

Yes, time to vote.
We've gotten nearly 2" of rain overnight and it's still raining.
I think we'll go vote a little later.

I'll be interested to see that Dressing Your Truth - thanks!

Sorry about the plantar fasciitis. For me, it took time, but mine has not returned.
There is a lot to be said for loosening your foot before walking - being careful not to re-injure.

Morning!
Everyone was a good girl it seems on the Halloween candy, well, maybe Cindy wasn't such a good girl , but she is in such great shape that her body will take it in stride.

Ok, today is state finals then I will shut up about Grants band, for now lol. 37 bands compete today for the top 10 spots. Kids performed at 10:15 this morning and then tonight we can watch live tv of the finals. Girl had already had a warning on taking phone on field, said she was doing it anyway! wonder how she feels now

Thought I had dropped 2 more lbs today, I was so , until I realised rug was touching back of scale , move on folks, nothing new to report here :

Carolyn, there are certain exercises to do for your foot, Google it. I had it in both feet for a miserable year, then found the exercises, very helpful.

Yes Judy, Mema's must be soft

Sandy, I am so proud of you and how active you are, keep it up and stay limber. Will serve you well. I need a stretching routine but I don't do anything about it.

Raining here, very welcome. Hip still hurting but the rest yesterday sure helped. Thankfully, I don't have many plans this week. Except, I need groceries. I think I should take up hunting and fishing to supply my need of protein , everyday, get up, decide on my 2 meats of the day. Sleep, repeat
