I haven't checked into LCF for a couple of weeks due to getting busy with the end of the Spring semester, and now planning to teach for a Summer rotation. I have an appt with my former MWL doc, now 1 1/2 hours away at a nonMWL clinic appt at the end of June, and I will see Carolyn then also! I know I can be 15 lbs lighter by then!! Already lost 5 other lbs in the past 8-10 days (since starting this job this schoolyear I gained nearly 20 lbs!).
In the past couple of months I have been symptomatic with iron-deficiency anemia and with researching, found that my previous chronic psuedomonas sinus infections during grad school may have been a part of what started the iron-deficiency anemia....plus I take EC Aspirin and stress made me develop gastritis! So, being back at this BIG weight all over again just adds to making me feel miserable physically! I cannot believe that I let my hips and legs get this chunky again! I am looking at a change in diet so that it is high in iron as well as MWL friendly, but not processed foods.

I definitely want to be "a shrinking pantaloon in June!"

Here I am, checking in, in my pantaloons. And up .5 for the month. I hate it when the month ends on a weekend!! It always skews my numbers, lol.

Good morning!!

I am the same as last month. 147, but I was more on vacation, so hoping my pantaloons will fit better or loose by the end of June. Six pounds can make a big difference either way.

Nice to see you, Debby. congrats on the weight loss. Looking forward to seeing you.

Sandy, .5 is water weight!!!

Dh and I are working VBS at night this week. Early dinner and no snacks. They always have lots of sugar in them.

Happy Sunday everyone!!

Here I am with my pantaloons a little baggier. This morning I'm 268. The walks and PT sessions are making a difference in both leg motion and body wt. Love the new challenge name.

Julie!

My pantaloons are a little snug, but less snug than last month.
My lowest low was 147 (after kidney stone) but I think my goal should be 150.
So I'm ....not there yet. But very close.
I could revise my goal downward later, I suppose, but I'm comfortable with about everything at 150 or so.

I am happy to focus a little more on my health.

Congrats to the losers!!

Hi everyone!! I'm up 3 more lbs. I'm ready to stop gaining now.
109-110 would be good - I was 111 this morning.
105 was WAY too little!

So - trying to maintain this month or lose just a smidge!

Good morning ladies!!

Dd loved New Orleans and could even drink the coffee if there was extra cream in it.

Had some rain. Just made one of those cream cheese eggs with a little SF syrup on it.

Chiro today, then Vacation Bible School tonight. Gary and I are working with the 1-3 graders. I recruited Scarlet to be a helper. She will do great and is excited.

MK, are you still going to the chiro?? Is it helping??

Alex the cat is still on insulin, but he is healing daily, so hopefully he can get off of it again. He went over 32 hours before he needed a shot.

Oh dear...just found out my friend's 62 yr old dh has stage 4 esophagal cancer. He had GERD for years, but didn't know he was that sick until last week. They are getting ready to retire, sold their house in one day, and will be moving back to Louisville where he will continue treatments. So any extra prayers for Mike would be appreciated.

Super fast 1 pound gone, Julie!

Carolyn - will pray for your friends. That's a bad diagnosis...
Good news about Alex. Remind me his age?

POURING rain all night and now (thanks be to God) so of course I am about to leave for OKC... I don't really mind driving in the rain, but pouring rain is different and you can just never let your attention go anywhere else.

Have a great day, friends.

Carolyn, I didn't realize Alex was back on the sauce. He was off for quite awhile, correct?

126 this morning so happy dance.

Hi gals

Yes, Alex got back on the sauce in December after he had surgery on the growth on his head, Cindy. I have him on Levemir now, which is great stuff. He has a really low dose compared to other kitties, so that is good.

Judy, Alex will be 17 on a Labor Day. So, for an old boy, he is doing quite well.

Yeah , Cindy, and Mary Kay, you are both probably where you should be.

We had rain, too, but be careful driving in the pouring down stuff.

Judy, you always give me the greatest chuckles!

Carolyn, so sad for your friends. What terrible news at what should be such a great time in their lives. I'll pray for them.

Have fun at VBS!

MK and Cindy!!! Wow!!! I did join an exercise class today and am going to join in with a group of walkers. Plus I joined the local pool. Not that laying on a deck chair reading a book will burn a whole lot of calories, but who knows? If it's a really long book I'll be flipping a whole lot of pages, lol.
Seriously, it does have a lazy river type walking area at this pool and I did walk for awhile between periods of reading.

Bingo!

I told my SS (skinny sister) I had finally looked at the Slow Burn DVDs I bought a couple of years ago.

They are round.
They have a hole in the middle.

I thought Poot was an older woman. She is a cutie.

Oh my! I'm not used to moving around so much after 7 pm.! I might have lost an ounce or two.

Glad you joined the pool. I hope it has a shady area, too. We have a lazy river thing at our pool, but everyone hops on an inner tube. Never thought of walking it.

I haven't done Slow Burn for a long while, but should get back to it.

Thanks for the prayers for Mike. We are taking Debra out to lunch this week before they leave.

Hi ladies,

Off to exercise..Then rest up for VBS..

Hope everyone is doing okay..

I made some evil SF twix bars from FB..I cut them into tiny bits and put them in the freezer. It called for coconut sugar, but I skipped that part..Hopefully, Gary won't eat them all at once..

Yesterday I cleaned out several cupboards and relined them..They look so much better..

Are the SF twix bars good?

Super jealous of your cleaning out cupboards. Mine are pretty ok, but my closets...
I'm afraid my closets will be efficiently re-arranged the same time I weigh what Cindy weighs.
