Hello! Hoping Carolyn is having an easy drive.

Hope you all had a good day today.
I'm listening to Jimmy Moore podcast where he interviews Jenny Ruhl (blood sugar 101) and realizing how few calories I can actually eat to maintain, much less LOSE weight. Probably good I'm hearing this.

Hi gang!!

Made it to Nashville in. 12 hours. We have a few road detours. It was 580 miles. The hotel is nice and has a shuttle over to The Opryland hotel. Last night we went to a nightclub type place that featured the Time Jumpers. Vince Gill plays with these amazingly talented older musicians. Fun!! We are going to The Grand Old Opry tonight. Watching my meals and trying to be a tiny eater.

Judy, I love all of Jimmy's podcasts and Jenny's was great.

Miss you all.

We are having fun. I am not as good as I thought I would be. Lol
Went to the Wildhorse Saloon tonight. It was fun and the food was good. Going to a plantation tomorrow.

In stark contrast to your fun, I decided to start weighing and measuring my food again.
So far, so good.
I've just got to rein myself back in a little.

You can do that when you're done having fun.
You should have some fun!

I love that picture!! Cindy is stunning. And we want to be on Chakka's Facebook page.

We have only been eating 2 meals and a snack so that helps a bit. It is chilly here this am and my jeans still fit!!! Off to Franklin today for a Plantation tour. So we will get some exercise.

Congrats on your weighing your food. It is amazingly enlightening when you do that.
The yarn shop was amazing. Just bought some of the cheaper yarn.lol

Have a great day!!!

It's been awhile since I've been this strict.
It is exactly that -enlightening!

2 meals & a little snacking sounds like a nice plan to get to indulge without too much damage. Have fun today!

to all!

You have a beautiful horse Cindy. I love to see her in action the jumps.

Still doing well with knee. I'm now going to a PT clinic and going through some exercise and weights. It's been 3 weeks since surgery. I still have some tapes on but they are slowly coming loose by themselves.

We've been getting weather in the 100's here. It's been like living in an oven. Dh and I have been trying to take the tail waggers out walking in our neighborhood but it's been way too hot. Looks like we may be getting some cool down today so will try before my Pt appointment this afternoon. Still using a walker but around the house I'm doing more walking without help.

Sandy are you still crappy fishing. Boy you have really been catching a bunch. I bet your freezer is getting full now.

Have a lovely day ladies. I'm still doing good eating wise. I'm now in the 260's. Right now stuck at 269. Slow but steady is my story.

It was 37 degrees here this morning (a record low) but I will take it over 100 degrees! I easily wilt!

I have 7 flats of impatients and begonias waiting to be planted tomorrow as tonight is supposed to low also. At least I will have something to do tomorrow!

Hi gals!!!

Back home!! We had so much fun. Our dear friend Ron has pulmonary fibrosis which is a death sentence, unfortunately. He has a portable concentrator for walking but walking up a ramp can drop his oxygen levels to 75! His wife has read a lot of material and they have shown that GERD can be a cause of this. He had GERD all his life.

Alex was so glad to see me!!!

Sharon, you are amazing!! Your new knee will be very happy with you.

Akkk....I haven't gotten on the scale yet. Think I will wait until Monday so I won't get scared. Anyone have a chisel???

Sorry for your friend, Carolyn. That's so sad.
Hope you figure a way to flush out the extra wt.

We're having beautiful weather. Good thing, DH had to do a roof the last 2 days.

We're going for a motorcycle ride tomorrow, trying out my vet's pet kennel, which is in her home... hope its a good fit for Molly. We're going to need a good option for her when we do our summer moto-trips.

Thanks gals!!

Debby, I am sure Miss Molly will love the kennel. She is quite social, isn't she??? Yes, dog owners do need a good option. We have a wonderful place that dogs love to go to!!

I have to remember to drink water.

I made some coconut flour blueberry muffins. They weren't bad. Just one with an egg for breakfast will work.

H ave a great day!!!

Our oldest granddaughter graduated from nursing school yesterday!! We are so very proud of her. She already has a job lined up as soon as she passes her boards. I have no doubt she'll pass but of course she's nervous. I'll be so happy for her when they're over with.

While we went to her graduation we left Bailey at a kennel for the very first time in her 10 years of life. I'd taken her to doggie daycare there twice in the last couple of weeks trying to make her feel more comfortable when she had to go spend the night. When we picked her up they said she did okay but really didn't socialize much with the other dogs and was very protective of "her stuff". I'd taken her bed and blankie and she didn't want any other dogs messing with them. They said she wasn't mean, just gave lots of warning growls. I think she did better at daycare than boarding because at daycare none of her stuff goes with her. If I need to take her again I'm going to talk to them about this.

I'm pooped! A long week of fishing and all the festivities yesterday have caught up with me. And I'm sure a few pounds found me as well, so tomorrow, a fresh start!

Sharon so glad you're healing well! That's a tough surgery and PT to go through.

Hi ladies,

Oh, Sandy, Bailey is an only dog. She doesn't want to share. Can they provide a bed?? Well, at least she didn't get hurt. Maybe you should take her there for daycare a few more times.

So happy your dgd graduated from nursing school!!!

Well, slowly I am losing my vacation weight. now to get below 147 by next Monday.

MK, you are a Wonder Woman. How is Phil doing?

Hi to Judy, Sharon, Debbie, Debby, Buffy ( where are you?), Cindy!!! Have a great day. I had better exercise this am!!

Happy Monday!

We are at the lake with DMIL. Man it is windy.
She is happy being here and I am catering to her, so she is happy.

I believe we'll be here all week through the holiday weekend, but I suppose plans could change. You can't believe all the low carb stuff I brought with me. Ridiculous.
But maybe I'll have time to make a few things that will please us.
DMIL brought a large number of cinnamon rolls and breads and cereals and grapes.
I am thinking of making some cinnamon roll muffins I've made before - very good.

I do not think I'll be losing weight this week.
