Howdy ladies. Sorry to see that the weather just won't give you rest back east. Somewhere the balance is off as we are getting the hot weather again this week. Yesterday it hit 100 degrees!

I now have a pt coming to the house 3x a week. She's due today sometime this afternoon. As everyone knows ice is your friend. Ha! Dh has been making ice packs up with rubbing alcohol and water that work great! It freezes and acts like a slushy that hugs to the area. We now have enough to last a days worth.

Getting around fine on a walker right now. Daughter will be stopping by while she's in town for a nice visit. I feel so pampered.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Hi Sharon! Glad you are doing well..Ice is your friend, for sure..I have made those ice packs too, when Brett was in football...LOL.Take care and let the peeps wait on you..It is your turn!!! Keep us posted.

Thanks, Lady...I have one side down way far back, but my mother's side is a bit of a mystery..They were on the East Coast and I'm in the Midwest, so they don't have much
help here, except ancestry..

Warning: Eating HC muffins will make you gain a pound..PSA announcement.LOL

Yay Sharon!! All the dread paid off and now you are mobile!
I'm so glad you get to be pampered - and glad you checked in.

Obviously Buffy's prediction of the world spinning off its axis has come true and it's hot in California and cold in the midwest.

That PSA is mind-blowing!
Should we make it a sticky?

Try familysearch.org as well. Put in the name of the person who you know one sibling or husband and check census records. A lot will pop up but you go through and find one that has the two people in common. You can use Ancestry as well, but it isn't free. If you have the person that you got social security info for, they will be in the census records. You can use the date of birth and name. That will weed it down more. The census records will give you spouse name and age. children and ages, occupation, address. Then you can look up marriage records, death records. You have their age then and go back in the records where that name and age pops up so you can get parents. You can also try findagrave.com You would be surprised some of the info that some people put on graves. Sometimes there will be pictures of the headstone. People upload these if they live in the area or visit the area. I even found my mom and dad on there already. Someone had uploaded almost the whole cemetery where they are.Let me know how you do.

So cool! Thanks!!
