6 months is such a great age. They are so happy.
I think by tomorrow I'm going to try to take those pictures down though, because, SHEESH they are big!

She is adorable!!

Happy belated B-day Cindy! I hope you had a great one!

Everybody's Easter plans sound good. We're going to church and then to brunch with DD and her kids and the babies. Hopefully we'll see DS's family sometime this weekend.

Carolyn, what is the spray actually supposed to do? I'll be watching with great interest!

Hi gals.

Oh, we all want to squeeze that darling baby Piper.. I love big pictures of babies..

The spray I am using is Be-Thin..It is some organic thing that tastes kind of bad, but
is supposed to give you energy..It does, sort of..

Hugs....

Dh is at the farm mowing...and mowing..It keeps him out of trouble and gives him exercise, so it is a win-win..

We are going to TerraMiso (or something like that for lunch in North KCity). Dd picks out the best restaurants (and doesn't spare the cost cuz we are paying..LOL)..

You'll love that place Carolyn. We went there 2 years ago. Delicious food!!!

We got news today that my FILaw is doing worse. Hospice said they think he might only be here a couple more days! So we're going down first thing in the morning and don't know when we'll be back at this point.

Oh dear, Sandy. Your motherinlaw is still living with her dh?? Prayers for you all.

Nice day today. Saw that MKs Evan is home. Love those college breaks!!!

Brett will be home tonight. He is working today to get ahead on his projects. This is a good thing.

Thanks for that review of the restaurant.

Sandy - prayers for you and your family!

All of you enjoy your children!
My cute smart mother who was at death's door only a few months ago, wants to host the Easter dinner Sunday night! Babies and all!
SS and I will provide nearly all the food.

Beautiful day here too, Carolyn.

My father in law passed away late last night. Thank you for all the prayers. My dear MIL will be alone in the nursing home now, which is very hard to think about. She seemed to be handling the death pretty well but it's hard to tell really since she can't communicate because of her stroke 16 years ago. They did tell us that she's just about stopped eating in the last few days/weeks since her DH got worse. The funeral is scheduled for Monday morning.

Oh dear, Sandy. Continued prayers for you all. I know that your dear father-in-law took care of his wife for all those years. Thank goodness she is in the nursing home so you don't have to move her. Big hugs.

Sandy, I am so sorry! It is always so sad when one spouse is left alone.

Thank you all for birthday wishes!! Had Mexican with my BFF. All is well here. Supposed to be 78 degrees today. Spring may have sprung! Tomorrow is yard work day. I will see which plants I lost due to the severe cold this winter.

Happy Easter everyone!! We had a great visit with Beth and Shawn!! We will just go out to lunch locally after church. Lol. Brett is still here and we just love him being around. I made some Carbquik biscuits yesterday and the boys loved them. So I made some up for him to take back to OK.

I am sure everyone is going to have a great day. I know that Phil will love having his kids around and hope he has a nice healthy day.

I have a new great niece. This is my nephew who lives in Nicaragua. She is adorable. Arya is her name. Of course.

Of course! (I have no idea why I'm agreeing with you - must be a common name in Nicaragua?).
Congratulations!

Happy Easter!
Happy for all of us who get to have our kids with us.
Any who are missing their kiddos are in my thoughts.

Well Judy, I thought you knew something I should have known? Ok, why Arya?

Will get to see all of my kiddos but my Nebraska ones.

I'm tired and must get busy but sitting here feels so yummy!

Sandy - I am sorry for your loss. I will be thinking of you, your DH, and all his/your family tomorrow. How nice that they were able to live their last days together in the same room in the nursing home; that is sweet.

Carolyn - We got back a couple hours ago from visiting our DD in KC. It was such beautiful weather and a very nice visit! We stayed at the Holiday Inn next to the Plaza and then walked over through the park to eat dinner with DD and a friend of hers, I cannot remember the name of the restaurant we went to (not the Bepo one this time - been there twice before). The restaurant we were at is down the street from the Cinemax. Delicious! And such nice company! Then to her church early this AM for a wonderful sermon; the church has a lot of 20-mid 30 year olds. Then we really were blessed to be able to stop in and get a table without waiting at The Corner Restaurant on Westport (again, delicious!) The place soon filled up fast. Then to walk along the river before going over to the City Market, not far from DD's condo. What a beautiful, beautiful weekend! Also got texts for other DD, who was having a wonderful day in her state of Texas. We have tended to spend holidays between all their two places and here. Wish they were nearer!

Carolyn - Is your great niece's name pronounce Air-e-a? Is that a common name for baby girls nowadays? (I don't have any grandkids (yet) to now. My KC DD is single and she went to a wedding with one of her friends and her baby daughter, and DD is talking about how much she loved that little one! She said she hadn't really had the "I want one" feeling before then (last weekend). Praying she finds her Mr Right and then all her plans unfold and I get a grandbaby, or two, or more!!

Hi ladies

I think KC has so many amazing restaurants!! Our KC girls are lucky to live there--all four, here, too. Sounds like a great day!!

I would imagine Arya would be air-re-a. I might have to post a picture as no grand babies are close at hand.

How is Phil doing???

Off to exercise!! Yippee???

Checking in.

Another nice holiday has come and gone, we had a very nice family gathering and thank heavens DD hosted, I did some of the cooking. The 3 little kids had sooo much fun and the 14 year old still enjoyed the fun. DD had some "baseball" eggs that were just for him so he still got to take part in the hunt and she had filled his with money as he is saving up for a church trip. Instead of a toy, Mema and Papa gave him an Itunes gift certificate. Food was delish.

Tired today, so I think a little office work is what will get done, maybe a load of laundry.

Eye Dr. Tomorrow

Time flies on

Thank you everybody for the condolences. The service was very nice; I'm sure he would've approved. It was a very long day and we are both exhausted tonight. I'm sure it'll be an early night and hopefully a late morning tomorrow.

Hi
Phil had his staples, cath and drain removed today.
My mom is now on comfort care, and has had 2 'episodes'.

I'm exhausted, over-whelmed etc, etc.

I decided to go to WalMart instead of exercising. Lol.

So glad the service was nice. I am sure you are both exhausted. Sleep in I if you can is right.

Buffy, glad you had fun with your busy family. Money is a good Easter gift

hey!! At WM they had zero pasta plus in the vegetarian section. It was pretty good. I got the linguine. Better than regular shiratake.

I hope this doesn't sound shallow....
MK - I realize this last month was more than you thought it would be...
And yet (on FB) you look so much younger.

You must have some good inner strength and hopefully lots of good friends who are helping you. I sure hope so. You look fantastic.
