Ditto... read up on it! stopththyroidmadness.com is a real eye-opener... I was on Synthroid & it made me have 'hot-flashes' & night-sweats... So gross! Also, unfortunately... still hard to lose wt.

What is the benefit of taking it twice a day Sandy? I'd have a hard time taking it on an empty stomach during the day - void of calcium... I take mine in the middle of the night.

thats awesome that armour worked for u sandy. my friend has been on it like 8 yrs? she had it up to 120-130 even. didnt do much. now shes back down to 70 i think, and tried the T3 also for a few months but noticed no diff with that either, weight wise or tired-wie. she does have insulin resistance also, but wont stick to low carb for longer than a couple mos. she struggles badly with sugar cravings and feels better low carb but never really loses that sugar craving, ya know? she also lets her family eat TERRIBLY so shes around it constantly. i am kind of tired of feeling tired; even tho i feel so much better eating low carb, mind you. just the cravings gone is soooo nice.

Debby, I split my daily dose to keep my levels more level throughout the day. And I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be taken on an empty stomach, 30 min before eating. Now that I don't really do. I take my morning dose, head directly to the kitchen and pour a cup of coffee and add my cream. No food, but def have to have my cream.

Hi guys..

Gary liked his reading date.. We went out for lunch later..So not much dinner for me,
except veggies and 2 hard boiled eggs.

I take Natur-throid, too and 1500 of Metformin. I think both help me alot with maintaining..

It is going to be doing something soon here, too..I wonder if the Little Apple gets more
snow than KCity? Hmmm...

Debbie: My LC doctor (Dr. Cobb) used to work at MediLoss..LOL..Then she went to Duke
and got educated on LC and has been doing this ever since.

Yeah, Sharon!!! Really, yeah!!!!

Off to church..Brrr..it is getting colder..and damp.

I lost the water weight from the salt and I only had one soft shell taco with tofu cheese, tofu sour cream and 'vegan' meat. So possibly not a true taco!

Dear Soul Sister,
Metformin is usually prescribed to lower blood glucose.

Soulfully and extremely hipfully yours,

Hi ladies,

Metformin has helped me immensely to lose weight. My LC doctor gives it to all women over 50 because she believes that our bodies need help. You can certainly give it a whirl, Sandy.
Walmart has very cheap Met ER.

Sharon, yeah for you!!!!

Meeting this morning. There will be food involved so I will drink coffee. My nutrition order is coming today along with pumpernickel bagels. I ordered some for my friend, too. She has done well. She had a gastric sleeve, lost weight, then stopped. So she is going to my doctor and doing well.

Have a great day!!!

How is Phil doing???

Thank goodness I was 127 yesterday morning. I started tracking again which for me is critical.

Today was the end of DS21's Spring Break.
I was taking him back to the train - it's about an hour each way.
We left at 9:30 so we'd get there about 10:30 for his 11:10 train.
Which then proceeded to be delayed until 12:39 . . . and then 3:00!
He's finally in Chicago now and on the L to his apartment.
Poor kid! He's been "traveling" for almost 9 hours!

I also had a stressful day - I tried on bathing suits!

Trying on bathing suits=One of the very top stressful events for women!!!
Did you find one? How many sizes have you went down since you had to stop eating LC? I imagine you've had to replace a lot of your clothes? That can be fun, but that can also be stressful too.
I'm glad your son is finally almost home. What a day, but at least he's young.

I had to buy the bathing suit top in Bloomington (the town with the train station) and the bottom at my store at home. Luckily there's a Von Maur in both places!

Sandy - I have gone down quite a few sizes, but I don't want to buy a whole new winter wardrobe - spring is supposed to come, right?

And yes, he's young!

Hi gals.

Yes I have to do the bottom/ top thing with bathing suits. I really like the longer bottoms myself.

Trains!!! Poor kid. Good thing he is young and resilient. I forget. Is he a Jr..?.

Just had a pumpernickel bagel from the Great Low Carb Bread Co. Nice flavor.

Anyone seeing The Son of God?..

Sharon, I believe Son of God is at theaters, not on TV. Although, the actor playing Jesus looks very familiar to me?
