How odd!
Now MK is reading my mind and asking the questions I want to ask!

Thank you MK, my sister in tiny sizes!

Seriously Debby I was wondering the same thing.

MK... funny on the '1' comment.
DD is 7 wks along now. Really the spotting sounds more like an infection than miscarriage. It should be gone by now, but keeps persisting... however the pregnancy tests are coming back good & strong.
Dr doesn't know what to say... just keeps sending her for more tests.

Debby - Is it too early for a heartbeat?
I know the first 3 months are tricky, but I'd hate to have her worrying for no reason!

Judy - great minds think alike!

Yes MK. Totally! a shame to be put through this stress. According to the 'net' the heart beat should be detectable soon, if not already. Maybe they will hear it when they do the ultra-sound... or even see it? I'm trying my best to instill faith & calm to her. Just sent her a good article explaining all the different things that can cause the spotting. It is reassuring. It also lists the same tests the Dr has ordered.
Sure hope your DH's test come back good too, so he can quit with the torture!

Hi ladies..

Yes, praying for good test results for Phil and Debby's dd..The ultrasound will tell all, prayfully good news.

Well, Mr. Norpro came today along with some ostrich feather dusters that I ordered
from Amazon for ladies in my Friday group. Honestly, I tried mine out on some dust
in my house..LOL and it whisked it right away..I was impressed..Anyone have an ostrich feather duster?

Anyway, I made some Rigatoni and a bit of spaghetti with my Norpro..Worked fabulous, fabulous.. I made a zuke/meatball/onion/garlic/spaghetti sauce/raw rigatoni/cheese
casserole which I will put in the oven. That pasta only needs a hint of heating up..Hopefully, we won't die of egg poisoning..

Getting ready for the big storm..Dh is ever hopeful he can use his snowblower again.

My dd's inlaws got in a wreck last night. David rearended a truck..No damage to the
truck, but their van was wrecked for sure. David had 8 stitches and Connie only had
a sore body. She has a very arthritic body anyway so this didn't help.

Yes, prayerfully waiting for the results for Phil & Debby's DD. Debby I think you're right - you can see the heartbeat before they can hear it.

I have never used an ostrich feather duster!

Scary about your DD's in-laws. I bet they will feel this for a few days. I'm sorry this happened to them.

Carolyn, don't you think the egg cooks along with the rest of the casserole? I hope so.

They are hyping this storm like they hype every weather event. Don't they know it just makes me want to cook more??

Hi

Looks like we might get 5+ inches. KCity kids will get 8 to 12. UMKC is closed so dd gets a day off. Tulsa is probably like us.

I'm sure the egg cooks when we heat the sauce . There are practically no carbs/calories in that pasta. Yippee.

Stay safe everyone!!!

Debby - keep us posted!

Carolyn - I'll look for the casserole in the mail!

Judy - I've never used one either - but isn't that what Flylady has?

Hi

Today was a bit of a stretch, I have that cold, didn't sleep last night (cold medicine?). But I was able to make it through my normal Monday stuff.

I called DD this afternoon, she is better today. She hadn't looked online, so I recapped the article for her & you could tell she was really encouraged by it all. Tomorrow is the ultra-sound. I'm really hoping they 'see' the heart-beat, & possibly the source of the bleeding. One place said its sometimes a fibroid in the uterus that the baby has lodged too close to, but its not dangerous. I sure hope its that simple.

Tonight DGD (their oldest) broke a bone in her foot (playing basketball). They just got back from the ER. There goes one of DD's helpers! Now MIL is talking of going down to help out... the church has been supplying meals & will step it up more until MIL arrives.

Hope we all have 'good news.'

I have used cheap-o feather dusters... just moves the dust from one place to another... thinking one of those swiffer dusters might be better.

Hope everyone has a good evening!

Carolyn my Norpro came with a pusher?
It was the thing that you use to help "lock" it on the countertop - the other end pushes the food.

OH NO for DGD breaking a bone in her foot!!!! Just not what they need right now.
Thank goodness she is involved in church and they are helping.

Hi

I saw the pusher, but I used the water bottle bottom. It was bigger.

I think this is the week that Sandy is lying on the beach.

Dh snowblowed our yard and a friend's yard. Keeps him busy.

DD went for her ultra-sound yesterday, will hear today. Dr said her HCG levels were down last test, so she's devastated, but still hoping for a miracle. Continuing to pray.
