Debby: Chaser's dad has a book how to teach a dog to recognize words..She had about 10 toys on the floor and she knew their names because someone would say Find the goose and she would find it and bring it to someone. We all know Molly is a genius, along with Bailey and the ever lovable Merlin..

And don't forget to throw in a 2nd language when you're teaching Molly words. My Bailey knows a few Spanish words too! Especially "tienes hambre" and "Que quieres comer". Are you hungry and do you want to eat. Lol.

Buffy - how neat your DD lent her personal assistant!!!
Now THAT'S a gift!

Oh Debby - I love thinking of Molly being so smart as to learn a few words! Our brat pug knows more words than I'd like. We have to spell in front of her! LOL

Hi gals..

Judy, how could I forget your darling pug...Dogs are smarter than we are sometimes. Cats are mood sensitive, I think and his "meows" have different intonations for different meanings..LOL.

Weigh-in at the doctor today..According to my scale I was 142, but then I will add some
light clothes..

Yes, Buffy..a personal assistant would be marvelous..Glad you are enjoying it.

I'm watching Land Girls on Netflix..It is great!!!

Thanks, ladies..The cheesecake isn't very tall, cuz I used one 16 ounce of Ricotta/one 8 ounce cream cheese/3 eggs/sweetener and vanilla and I put it in a large pie pan..

No exercise must be going around. I haven't been all week either and neither have my workout buddies. This has been a super busy week for me and for them. I have walked the dog and cleaned up leaves and the house so I sure haven't been sedentary by any means.

Yearly check up today and mammo tomorrow. Then I think next week slows down a bit.

Oh Sandy that reminds me that I need to make an appt. for my mammo before the end of the year. Thanks for the reminder. I don't need a yearly anymore. It's every other year now. Looks like I need that reminder mailed to me.

Not much happening here. Cheesecake for brekkie is a wonderful thing. I had flax meal, chia seeds, and unsweetened coconut flakes made into a hot cereal this past week. It's so satisfying and easy to make up and keep in the fridge.

Looks like a ride to an rv store for a water filter today. That will be nice. Then we will be ready for our little outing next week at M. Lake camping. Weather is just right now and no other campers. It will be a nice de-stressing good time.

Exercise? Ummmmmmm.....

Sharon I love thinking of that outing. Sounds perfect.

Carolyn - yummy brekkie.

Sandy, I need to make an appt. for mammogram, too. Thank you for the reminder.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi ladies..

My mammo is due, too, but I will wait until January..Now at what age can they be every other year? Just wondering..

Sharon: Sounds like a great time to camp. The fall leaves are really pretty around here now and the sun came out..

Fingers crossed.... (she's not a big cook)

Good morning..

Judy, let's hope your SS gets the beans all mashed up with the food processor..That is the only tricky part.

Those cupcakes didn't tempt me for all the carbs..Boxed mix and canned frosting..

Anyone watch Land Girls on Netflix? It is sooooo good. So far they have 3 seasons on and I am near the end..

Land Girls is on my Netflix queue. Good to know it's good. I have a lot of shows on my queue between Netflix and Hulu.

I saw Billy Graham on the news but I guess I didn't realize he had a whole show on last night. I'm sure it was very good.

I only left the task of frosting - and even left a note showing the measure for doubling the recipe.
She texted me a picture of herself licking the frosting spoon!

Hey gang,
Busiest week I think I have had since getting sick and wow am I tired tonight! But, glad to be able to keep pushing just a little to increase my stamina.

I do believe our dogs and cats "talk" to us, they certainly have different sounds for different occasions.

Just put Land Girls on my list of things to watch.

I am stuck on level 50 now of candy crush, anxious to get to level 52 and the chocolate Carolyn speaks of

Judy, we need to hear about those grand babies! And, does brat pug have a name?

My mammo is due as well, I am still every year and will prob continue as DS has had 2 go rounds with breast cancer, but thankfully doing great.

Need to see a dermatologist too, have a couple of new spots that I need to have checked out.

Enjoying our fall weather, really nice to feel the chill in the air.

Have a great weekend everyone

I'm with you Buffy, I still do mammos every year. My pap is down to every other year now and I do try to limit my exposure to x-rays as much as possible. I opted out of dental x-rays this year but I'm not ready to take a risk with the possibility of breast cancer though.
Glad you're feeling better, but don't overdo!! Pace yourself and enjoy every moment.

Hi gals..

My theory on Candy Crush Saga is that when "they" want you to win, you will..OR if you
make one wrong move at the beginning of a Level it is over..I am up to 53, I think..

I don't have to have paps as I had a complete hysterectomy unless something indicates one..Don't know what the new doctor will say in January, though.

Taking Scarlett out to breakfast at Eggberts then we are going to WalMart to fill 3 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Chat with you all later..Have a good day.

I had a complete hyst too??? I asked once why I still needed them. His answer made sense at the time, but I sure can't remember what he said, lol. So I go, like a good girl, lol.

Supposed to be a pretty day here. I'm hoping we'll find something to do to enjoy it. Because the weather forecasters have even mentioned that nasty 4 letter word, snow, in the upcoming forecast for this next week. Ugh!!

Buffy, as much as I love chocolate - I do not love Candy Crush's chocolate.
I am interested to hear what you think when you experience it.
And I love hearing of your reclaimed energy!!
(believe me, you'll need it to put up with that chocolate )

DGS came over yesterday and spent a few hours with us. And he brought his mother. LOL
That was so much fun. SS's DS30 was here with my mother, just for the afternoon. I know they both enjoyed that.

A mouse came in my mother's house night before last. SS texted pictures of glue traps all over the area of concern (kitchen, laundry room). Mouse lost its life before midnight.
That is good, because I told SS I didn't know if I could be here with mice. (I know. I know. I am pitiful. I was half kidding.)

My nephew found any places mice might invite themselves in and plugged those places with steel wool. Ugh. I just don't like the thought of mice...

All glue traps were mouse free and my beautiful chocolate bean cake was my dinner and my breakfast - also mouse free.

I love Scarlett's name, Carolyn.

Might have to drag my mother to my house so she can watch adoringly while I finally get my pansies in before it gets colder.
